New Game+ Trophies

If I start my first game on Ultra Hard difficulty, will I still get the related DLC trophies or the DLC trophies unlock only on New Game+ mode? Thanks

They only unlock in New Game+ mode.

Best way to approach 100% in my opinion(as how I did it atleast)

Step 1: choose a gamemode you like and get the platinum

Step 2: go to the frozen wilds and get 100%

Step 3: you're overpowered now, start newgame+ on ultra hard and ignore EVERYTHING. spamskip dialogues and rush main story. You should be done in +- 5 hours (major tip! Everything is expensive af on ultrahard, just buy materials,ammo and whatever just before you start newgame+ just to make it yourself easier)

Also, make sure from your original game save you make a NG+ Loadout once you have the inventory you want to have. Otherwise the game will use your Loadout when you beat the final boss in the main game regardless of how much you may have done afterwards. 

 

I also found it useful to stop opening the boxes you sometimes get from enemies and just keeping them in my inventory. You can keep an unlimited number, so it was useful to make sure I didn't run out of anything urgent for NG+. Also stock up on the items needed to craft healing potions. You will need them on the final boss. I only had enough to craft about 5 additional potions and it got really tricky towards the end.
