Trophy difficulty and time?

There looks to be 2 or 3 difficult trophys but these look to be against com fighters so as you play, youll pick it up. The grind will be to get up to level 150. I seem to remember the grind in ufc2 was to get to level 26 which took me a few days fighting online. Hopefully the leveling will be a bit quicker other wise it will be a long time to get to level 150.

Having platted UFC 2, this looks like hell xD

Then again I'm not the best player so..

These look challenging imo because of either luck or skill requirement.

And the complete all daily challenges trophy.

I can assure you these will be a pain in the butt

I actually feel like this is a lot easier than UFC2. Probably a lot more grind getting to level 150. It doesn't require you to win the championship online (which to me actually requires skill). The ones with specific requirements online seem simple enough (most of them happen regardless if you play online constantly). Also, it says "pass" all skill challenges on any difficult, rather than get an A rank on every difficulty.

near impossible I guess. I platted the 2 UFC games. The first one was a bit of a bitch because of one online trophy but the rest wasn't so bad. The second one was fairly easy but this one...

I wouldn't be surprised if the plat will be 0,50% or less. If the grinding will be like fight night champion then we're all screwed.

This guy is already playing with this game https://psnprofiles.com/game-leaderboard/7141-ea-sports-ufc-3

Isn't it unfair towards the others who want to compete for the world first platinum? More than 10 days left until the game release.

You should never bother trying to be the first platinum in the world. There'll aleays be people that have the game way before you do.

~12 hours excluding ultimate team

~40+ hours for ultimate team lv150

Damn 40 hours of solo fights for Ultimate team!?

i only get 20xp per win or 10 per loss, is that about right?

also should i just keep playing those fights or do the challenges etc to up the stats of my fighter?

Thanks btw

I don’t know total xp requirement to hit lv150 but I recently perfected my grappler for quick wins (stacked gold ray borg/daniel cormier).

I get ~380xp per hour.

Challenges aren’t worth it and playing online is hit or miss (im decent but I’m 50-20).

I use Daniel cormier/Ray borg (grappler/specialist) and I farm first round submissions in solo.

Best method is going for a non power single leg takedown into half guard, block transitions until opponents stamina is gone then submit with arm triangle.

Im in division 6 but it’s still extremely simple, just invest in top/subo/td stats.

I usually end fights within a minute hence my ~380 xp rate (maximum per hour, my average is 340).

I hope this helps, I’m pretty sure this is fastest method possible since you don’t have to worry about increasing difficulty as you rank up through divisions.

Looks like i need to get better on the ground. I have a No Love DC but his stats are pretty weak until i get better cars drops etc

You can do just fine with a good head kick and stamina.

I will say however that this game is garbage compared to UFC 2. The ultimate team is ridiculous, there is a clear spike in difficulty when you are champion. You will on occasion face a fighter who's near unbeatable and will drain your stamina like it's nothing. I've played the game enough to notice this, it's infuriating to go on a four fight win streak only to face the same fighter who's now unstoppable for no apparent reason.

Difficulty has huge spikes when u move up divisions. In order to win standing up in division 4+ you must stick n move, parry and be patient for the ko for 3-4 rounds.

I easily got first round ko’s until division 4 then switched to submissions.

Has nothing to do with divisions, I've tested this theory. Deliberately went down to division 2 and it's still there. You can tell the difference, three-four opponents with average skills then suddenly one or two of them with the ability to drain your stamina like it's nothing. I'm not a terrible player by any means, this is a stupid tactic by EA but I'm not surprised given the track record lately. The game matches your performance, you do too well and suddenly you get knocked down a peg or two. I'm all for it if it was division related, but it seems to be directly linked to how fast you are finishing fights. Not everyone has a gold fighter to offset those changes :)

Testing this even further, I deliberately lost matches by doing nothing. I sat there. The computer for 99% of the time did the same, literally made no movements. Total strikes after the match was 10 for the computer.

I input a few actions and the computer goes wild. Rubberbanding at it's finest. EA's built a smart AI machine that matches your own abilities instead of just having constant difficulty based on your divisional standpoint.

I juat don't understand how people platinumed this game so fast, the quickest guy did it over 3 days!! Ive played a lot over the last few games im and level 17!

Im trying the submission technique but the only dubs i have available are fromm sprawl, realistically i need  submission from half guard or side control etc so the AI doesnt have time to recover...

I have to question it too, but I had the same issue with Battlefront II.

This game is trash, focus on standup, when the computer gets cute (cheese) just let them beat you down and focus on the next fight. Don't bother with takedowns, this game is a heaping pile of shit. I'm so disappointed as someone who LOVES the series. This iteration is pathetic.

Ive been doing that tbh, seeing as the difference between a win and a loss is 10xp ive let the ai win if i could feel like the match was going to either drag or lose

Yes there are difficulty spikes when u are champ but there are much smaller than the spikes went u hit division 4, 5, 6 and 7.

The AI difficulty went u are champ in division 1-3 is a normal “prospect” fight when in division 4-7.

Im almost halfway through division 6 and I’ve done enough testing.

My advice, went stand up gets too tough switch to a grappler/specialist and win on the ground.

I hit lv 50 now and most of my wins are first round submissions and I’m in division 6.

I did some math, with a 90% win rate it will take around 950 fights which will take around 50 hours if ALL wins are via first round stoppage.

The problem isn't standup or takedowns, it's the pathetic stamina system. It's ridiculous that you lose a chunk if you miss a shot, but the computer loses nothing. I'm fine if it's equal but it's infuriating to lose a ton of stamina for throwing a head kick and the computer sways around it. Do the same and the computer doesn't miss a beat.

This game is a steaming pile of shit in it's current state. I was willing to look past Battlefront in all of it's missing features but there's no excuse for this. There was no reason to change it from UFC 2 where your own repetitive actions cost you stamina, not because the computer forces it out of you. The new grappling system is fine, it's completely insane to punish the player but not apply it to the computer. We don't all have gold users as well, that logic goes out the window.

I'm willing to bet at least a few platinum users got assistance in giving them wins.

I totally agree with you regarding the stamina which is why I NEVER throw heavy punches or head kicks against high difficulty computer, I use 95 stamina/endurance but it barely helps when I miss those head kicks and haymakers.

I think the grappling in a small step up from ufc 1/2 but I HATE the new sway system replacing the parry system.

Swaying is a complete roll of the dice usually against you but the AI uses it perfectly like it’s a skill you can gain.

And then the AI is completely incompetent on the ground even on highest difficulty while being stand up GODS.
