Popular Post BlazzingWind
Fourth Game Beaten! When I first played this about two years ago, I did so because my partner wanted to get the game and wanted help going through it. At the time I felt the game was a bit clunky and complicated, with the speed runs not being feasible. I was in a bad time IRL and took it out on the game, only barely playing it and not touching it again. Fast forward to RE2 Remake and I gladly dived back in. Below are my stats for the game: Playthrough 1: Jill - Very Easy - 01:00:00 hr playtime (Approximation) First Kills Are Special, What a Great Guy, Seeing Red, Not Taking Any Chances unlocked Playthrough 2: Jill - Very Easy - 09:02:40 playtime (no deaths/restarts) Break Out the Marchmallows!, Delaying the Inevitable, Giant Snake Got Nothin, Not Waiting to Exhale, Grave Digger, Deep Sixed, The Key Master, Who's the Hunter Now?, Spider Sense, Trust Him, Where the Magic Happens, Sorry About the Wait, Every Nook and Cranny, Alpha Team's Finest, I'm a Member of S.T.A.R.S., Like Taking Candy from a Baby Playthrough 3: Chris - Very Easy - 04:31:16 Playtime (1 death/no restarts) + 01:00:00 replay time Herbicide, Get Used To It, Written Word is Dead, That Was Nice of You, Not Just Any Object, An End to a Poor Girl's Misery, Sorry I Made You Wait, We're in This Together, You da Man, Chris, The Nightmare Ends, CQC FTW, Racing and Pacing Playthrough 4: Jill - Normal - 02:46:49 Playtime (2 deaths/4 restarts) + 03:00:00 replay time Every Woman for Herself, Not in the Mood to Die, Take that, Zombies!, Don't Stop Running, Ink is for Squids, Starsenal Playthrough 5: Jill - True Survival (Hard) - 04:46:18 Playtime (1 death/no restarts) + 00:45:00 replay time Oh, the Horror, The Survival Horror Playthrough 6: Chris - Invisible Enemy (Very Easy) - 01:30:00 Playtime (Approximation) Bravo Rebecca Playthrough 7: Chris - Invisible Enemy (Very Easy) - 03:38:27 Playtime (0 death/no restarts) Every Man for Himself, Ghost of a Chance, Passion for Fashion, Platinum Splattin' Em! Total Playtime: 31:10:03 Playtime (4 deaths/4 restarts) This game was a lot of fun the first two times completely through it and on Hard mode, after that, it did get a little repetitive and a bit dull. But overall I really enjoyed the game and am glad that I finally managed to beat it 100%. My one complaint is that Chris is automatically designated as 'Hard' mode with fewer slots to hold items and it seemed clunkier controls. On top of this, for one of the bosses that becomes optional should you do a short sidequest, this boss is impossible to skip if you do not properly trigger the Rebecca save by not saving Richard back at the mansion and letting him die. It's one of those, little annoyances that took some enjoyment from the overall experience. At the end though, it was time well spent and I look forward to diving back into RE0 HD soon. Popular Post Caju_94
Ok, I haven't done my update for a while so here goes. I finished the following games: Ray Gigant (W/Plat) Virtue's Last Reward (W/Plat) Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage Zero Time Dilemma (W/Plat) I also platinumed Onrush, which I had already completed. I bought Kingdom Hearts 3 when it released and also finished the story. Ok, so this leaves me with a total of 42 completed games so far. Since it's been more than a year that I started participating in the event, I managed to clear a huge amount of games in my backlog, leaving a couple of games on the Vita (I didn't have much, since I bought the Vita in the middle of 2018 and some few PS4 games without counting the PS Plus games). In previous posts I told that I bought a couple of games but didn't include them in my backlog until I had 3 NG points to start them. Also, since I didn't have many games on my Vita, I took the opportunity at the New Year's Sale and bought a bunch of them to increase my Vita backlog. Meaning I will include the following games into my backlog without discounting any NG. PS4 Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Flatout 4 Detroit: Become Human Watch Dogs 2 Far Cry Primal Grand Theft Auto V Digimon World: Next Order Fairy Fencer F Advent Dark Force Megadimension Neptunia VII Need for Speed Agents of Mayhem Transistor Driveclub Darksiders: Warmastered Edition Vita Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit Demon Gaze Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed God of War I (GoW Collection) God of War II (GoW Collection) Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky Tales Of Hearts R Persona 4 Golden Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Akiba's Trip: Undead and Undressed Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni I also got a 20 euros PS Store card as an event reward (7th Vita anniversary event), in which I spend on Watch Dogs 2 and Far Cry Primal as "gifts". As for the other games, I got them before 2019 but didn't start them, until 2019 started. Now my backlog just go a little bigger again I only removed 3 NG points for Kingdom Hearts III since I bought it on 2019. As for PS Plus games of 2019, I won't include them yet, since I want to finish PS Plus games I got before 2019, meaning I will include PS Plus games when the ones that are currently on my backlog are finished (at least most of them). iLL-Mortick
#32 Apex Legends Very fun non-plat game that I enjoyed to the fullest with friends. Very basic and easy trophies where time will eventually net you all the trophies regardless of skill. Fun 7/10, would 100% again

BlazzingWind
Took a look at RE0 and not sure what to do. I played through extensively two years ago on Normal, got almost everything done including Leech Hunter and Wesker Mode. However, I have a save file about halfway through the game in which my characters are hurting bad but still using bullets. The tricky part is I do not know if this save is on Hard mode or not. It is true that based on how I completed the game, Hard mode would be the only mode where I would start off without my infinite weapons. Not sure if I should start completely over on a fresh save where I am sure I am on Hard, or push through and try to finish where I am now and hope that it is on Hard. It's been two years since I've played the game so everything is like new to me again ?

But I have to say that I liked the bonding between Delsin and his brother. I have a weakness for that:P. The good karma playthrough was pretty nice but in the bad karma playthrough Delsin turned into a real asshole in my opinion.
iLL-Mortick
#33 Call of Duty: Ghosts (PS4) Easy game with one trophy in particular that´s annoying af if you´re doing it on Veteran. "They look like ants". Only 3 trophies away from 100% and a few more trophies for 100% on PS3 version. All-in-all, recommended for fps fans.
Popular Post ExHaseo
It's been an interesting week. I technically took 12 games off of my backlog. I only beat 1, and the rest were just disasters. After a long list of games that I just didn't enjoy, I decided to take advantage of the sales going on this weekend and picked up World of Final Fantasy Maxima on Switch and South Park The Fractured But Whole Gold Edition on PS4. Now, on to my thoughts on the games, starting with the one I beat. Black Rock Shooter - This was one of the last PSP games released, and was a digital only title. I always really liked the BRS artwork that the series was based on. So much so, that my first fightstick with custom artwork was a picture of BRS. Anyway, the game was okay. It was a unique game that was part strategy part action game. It wasn't very long but it was an overall enjoyable experience. Nothing particularly stood out as good or bad. I wouldn't recommend anyone going out of their way to get it, but if BRS interests you, then you may enjoy it. Now for the games I took off. Shadow of Mordor - I'm not much of a fan of high fantasy, but a friend recommended this game to me. So I had to at least try it. Unfortunately, I just wasn't into it. The story didn't grab me and the combat felt like the Batman Arkham games. Which for me, was a bad thing. I never liked the combat in those games, and was far more interested in the story and stealth aspects of the game. So after playing through a bit of the tutorial I decided to just drop it. I know it's a combat heavy game, and I didn't want to slog through a game with a combat system I just didn't like. Final Fantasy IX - This was a weird one. I played the PS1 version a few years ago. I got most of the way into the second disc before the loading times made me lose my mind. It was a moment where I ran into a battle, waited literally 35 seconds for the game to load and battle opening animation (I timed it), killed the enemies which took me 5 seconds, then waited another 30 seconds for the map to load again, for me to take one step and for it to happen again. That was more than 2 minutes of waiting for 10 seconds of game. So I dropped it. Flash forward ten years, and I have the remaster on PC. I start the game, and it just doesn't have the magic it had. I thought I'd love being able to bum rush through to the part that I was at before to keep going, but it just felt tedious. I wasn't particularly into the story this time around. It's a great game for those that haven't played it, but it just wasn't for me anymore. Evolution The World of Sacred Device and Evolution 2 Far Off Promise - I'm lumping these together because they're the same series. Evolution 1 was my very first turn based RPG. I was in a Gamestop looking for something new to play. I saw Evolution on the shelf, and it just called out to me, so I picked it up. I play through the game and it opens my eyes to a whole new world of gaming. I get towards the end of the game... and my Dreamcasts dies. At this point, the Dreamcast had just been discontinued and the Gamecube and PS2 were the new hotness. So I traded it in. Fast forward about 10 years later, and I see the game and it's sequel at a con. Feeling nostalgic, I pick them both up and then they sit on my shelf for another 5 years. Now to the present, I hook up my Dreamcast and pop in Evolution. I get giddy with excitement when I see the opening cinematic. I play through the intro dungeon and am enjoying it, but it feels a bit basic now. I play through two more dungeons and nothing really happens. It just feels like a grind. I play another and some story finally happens, but I'm just not feeling it. This was about 4 months ago. I was looking at my Dreamcast and just had no desire to play it. So I decided to take both games off the list. It's a nice piece of my childhood to own, but the game itself just isn't as good as I remember it. Breath of Fire 3 - One of my friends had this game when I was a kid, and would never shut up about it. At one point, he let me borrow it for a weekend, and I really enjoyed it. I was never able to pick it up though, because by the time I played it, the PS1 had been gone for a while and games like BoF3 were incredibly rare and expensive. So, once I saw that it got released on the PSP I immediately picked it up. I started it, and wow was it hard. It required a lot of grinding and dying to even get to the first dungeon. And even more to get through the first dungeon. It was still fun though, so I played it off and on for about a year until I got to a tower. I can't get past that stupid tower. Despite hours and hours of grinding and leveling up, I still can't beat it. It's infuriating. So I decided "fuck it" and took it off. I wasn't enjoying it anymore, so there was no reason to keep playing. Final Fantasy X HD - This is my favorite Final Fantasy game. It came with X-2 when I bought it, so I threw it on my list. I've played it more than 10 times and there's just no need for it to be on the list, so I took it off. Dungeon Siege 3 - This is a top down ARPG like Diablo. Unlike Diablo, it's not particularly good. I bought it when I was craving some Diablo style action, but it just didn't scratch the itch. It was a bit bland and felt off. Whenever I want to play an ARPG, I'd rather just play Torchlight 2 or Diablo. I decided to just take it off after booting it up to give it one more try and getting bored within a half hour. White Knight Chronicles - I heard good things about this game, so I decided to pick it up a while ago since it was so cheap.I played for a few hours and it wasn't especially bad, but it didn't hook me. I wasn't into the combat either, so I decided to just drop it. I'm not going to be going back to it. Xenogears - One of the best RPGs I'll never beat. Similar to Evolution, I played this game a long time ago and my console died. I was about 80 hours in when it happened. I've tried going back to it for years, but it's always just too daunting. It turns out I was right at the end, and at the end they just sit in a room and talk about what's going on. So I decided to just watch that and call it done. It's one of the best JRPGs of the PS1 era, and it's definitely worth your time if you like JRPGs. Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 - This is a weird one. I picked up Digital Devil Saga 2 way back in the days of the PS2 and played through it. This was right after I played Persona 3, so I was fiending for more SMT. I was always curious about how the first game went, but I was never able to find it until it got rereleased on PS3 as a PS2 classic. I booted it up, and it's just not as good knowing what's going to happen. So I decided to just drop it and 2. I'm not going to play it anytime soon, but it is a fantastic series. Prince of Persia - This is the remake with the bro prince. I actually really liked this game when it came out. I originally got it and played through it on 360, and picked it up for PS3 years later. I've tried going back to it, but it just feels like a grind. It's a game I've already beaten and I'm not interested in playing it again, but I did enjoy my first playthrough of it. It's a shame it never got any resolution. Modern Warfare Remastered - I forgot, I don't like FPS games. I'm not good at them, and I'm not into the military stories. I got a few missions in and got bored. I think I've just played enough CoD to last a lifetime already. And that's everything. this all changes my total to 21 games left on the backlog. I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel now, and I heavily considered just calling it done, but there's still some games I want to play through or haven't tried at all yet on there. I want to at least make it through the games I haven't even tried first. Otherwise, I may never play them. Hopefully one of my new games finish soon. They've been going for 6 hours already, and I really want to play one of them T_T
BlazzingWind
Fifth Game Beaten I I beat this game a day ago and have been trying to find the words for a review. There is a lot here, locked behind self exploration of the environment and piecing things together. I won't profess that I understand everything, but what I will say, is that this is a very dark game. It brings to question exactly what constitutes a human, and at what point do we stop being 'us'. You play as Simon, a man going to get his head scanned after a severe accident. One second you are in the doctors office, the next you are in another place, full of darkness and machines. The controls are okay, a bit loose and take some getting used to, and Normal mode has some annoying deaths due to how the game functions. However, the story is the real draw. And I would say a playthrough on Safe Mode is warranted as the game was on PS+ not to long ago. I give it about a 7/10 for the story, 5/10 for gameplay. Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Platinumed Rogue Aces on the PSVita. Really fun game you can pick-up to play 10-15 minutes. The Platinum is not overly difficult, although there are some tricky trophies. So I got 1 game point available and did buy 2 games ?, so I am at minus 5 now! Pre-ordered The Division 2, looking forward to this title! Also pre-ordered PATO Box on the PSVita. This game was never released in Europe and it got a hard copy variant via Play Asia (1500 copies) , I....just......needed...to......buy....it ?. So I need to finish 5 games to get to zero again. Started with COD MW Remastered, still have EtherOne to finish and Started Demetrios on the PSVita. Hopefully I bridge this gap quickly....
Popular Post Asvinia
Beat the story of Yakuza Kiwami. A few tears were shed but nothing compared to Yakuza 0. Kiwami is much, much shorter than 0 and had I not played 0 first, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed Kiwami much. Majima has absolutely zero context or character and just appears to be a random psycho whose appearances when you're trying to get somewhere are just tedious. Hey, you need to go buy some items, eat food and get to the next story area? Well whoop whoop It's the Majima alarm! No, you can't avoid it because he ambushed you. whoop whoop Oh look, he barged his way into a fight as well. whoop whoop Now he's going to chase you down the street in the opposite direction you want to go. Sucks to be you. I didn't mind it at first and it was pretty funny. But by the time you're coming to the end, it's just easier to let him beat you so you can get on with what you were trying to do. I'm going to try to clear up all the other stuff and get the plat but I'll probably take a break from the series afterwards. I don't want to burn myself out and not enjoy them so much.

gladiatorrrrrrr
Finished COD MW Remastered, I have played the MP of this game sooooo much and did enjoy some rounds of Head Quarters again. I played the orginal on the PS3 and I saw a couple of things were changed. Anyway, wanted to have a blast with the SP (for old time sake). Played the campaign on veteran. Oh boy, I must have forgotten how crazy this game can be. Infinitive respawns (of your enemies)....granates....lot's of them and thrown directly at your feet, stopping power when hit, 2 a 3 bullets and you die....not a walk in the park. I managed to work through the campaign, did the High Mile club level and was stuck for an hour or so with the opening level/trophy. beating a time of 15.1 sec. Loads of swearing later a new shiny platinum is mine. It made me think of COD on the PSVIta which I have restarted it. Veteran in this game means: perma death ? and you need to start all over....

Popular Post ExHaseo
Was going through another losing streak of games from my dwindling backlog, and decided that I'm done. I'm just not really getting any benefit from forcing myself to play games I don't really feel like playing. It was another story when there were hundreds or even just dozens of games to choose from. It was much easier to find a game to enjoy, because I had so many. But it's obvious I've put these last few games off for a reason. I either don't have the time, patience, or am just not interested in the game enough to play through it. So, backlog completed! I did it! It's over! *throws confetti* I've started a brand new chapter of gaming. One without a backlog. It's really weird. I'm going to be doing my best to ensure that it doesn't get out of control again. Soon my girlfriend will be done with college, and we're moving to a place with much cheaper cost of living, and that will help tremendously. We should be able to live a lot more comfortably, so I wont have to worry about stocking up during the sales anymore. If I want to play a game, I'll be able to just buy the game and play through the game, then just buy another one once I'm done. Then just find another one I want to play and buy that one. Huge shoutouts to @Paleblood for putting together this event. Without it, I wouldn't have gotten through my backlog nearly as quickly. And thanks to everyone here! You guys are seriously the best. Without everyone's support, I'm not sure I would have made it through. Good luck with your backlog everyone!

Popular Post DatOneSeagull
Another update, I just platinumed final fantasy 13 lightning returns and am now starting ratchet 3. I also got my account back to 90% completion. Ff lightning returns was not the best of the three. My thoughts are that ff 13-2 is still the best one of them but that's just imo. Also I bought one piece world seeker.
Caju_94
I did a miscalculation and said I had 30 platinums/100%, but in reality I had 29. I completed Borderlands 2's story yesterday, which left me with the 9 NG I though I had initially. With that, I bought Horizon Chase Turbo for PS4 and Adventures of Mana and MotorStorm RC Complete Edition for the Vita. I already started HZT and Adventures of Mana because they are short and simple games I really wanted to play. Currently have 48 completed games. I'm not starting so much games as I used to, to try to stabilize and increase my completion percentage. Edited April 8, 2019 by Caju_94
gladiatorrrrrrr
I am stuck in Washington DC at the moment. Enjoying The Division too much although technical speaking you could say I finished the story (conquered Tidal base stronghold) , I am unsure if I try to platinum this one. But most of my game time has been floating into this title so no update on my backlog list (or rather : my want to play list 2019). I am trying to get through COD Declassified on veteran which is difficult because of the perma death. I am at mission 7 out of 10 now so slowly making progress. But with the announcement of Borderlands 3 (HELL YEAH!) , I did put Borderlands 2 on my VITA again. Oh too many games to play ....?
