Starting up Just Cause 3 again reminded me why I stopped. It is tedious in all of the ways Saints Row was entertaining. Hopefully I can clear the story and just concentrate on chipping away at the 100% collectables quickly, or else this may become painful.

 

I'm also hoping to find a kind soul or two to boost some of the online trophies from my list just to get them out of the way.

 

Finally, I took a detour from my list to start up A Way Out. Played a few hours with a buddy and it's a great time.  Highly recommend this for anyone to share a good experience with a gamer buddy or spouse.

Far cry 5 was pretty good, took 30-40 hours, but I didnt really rush to complete it. I didn't like some of the characters or the ending but I thought it was a nice story overall. The worst part of this plat was the multiplayer trophies, you have to play on certain maps but the map pool is flooded with low quality player created content.This may become the next Halo Forge or SC custom maps but I doubt it, still a nice tool to give to players.

 

Going to play casually but then jump into Ni No Kuni 2 soon.

Started Among the Sleep. Got through three sections. Will finish it up soon dor both challanges. I am also working on Midnight Deluxe on my vita for Spring Fling. Made it 62% completion in about 30 mins this morning. I am slowly also working on progress on Tokyo Xanadu. Have to be careful and organzied so I can get as much as I can in the first playthrough. In the middle of chapter 7 and working in some side quests to get all the master cores this playthrough.

Update 2: Platted Odin Sphere Leifthrasir. Good game. Tight formula, but I felt it could have grabbed me more. This may be an horrendously stupid comparison but I lined the game's war theme and dialog to the opening scenes of ff12 and I just couldn't give this game any edge. I guess I'm learning my predilictions: the whimsical nature of odin sphere wasnt as lasting a flavor as ff12's impetus and grit. Again, retarded comparison but it was what popped into my head when my brain cross referenced 'fantasy' and 'war'. Just shows I need to expand my gaming pallete(?).

The one which nobody has earned yet requires about 7-7,5 correct actions a second, not sure if it's even possible with the perfect score, if so just barely. I've made it so far with a 100% completion (if i finish of the rest), i'm not risking it on this maybe impossible game with unstable controls.

After being sick for a couple of days and some holidays back at home, I was thinking it is time for a short update regarding the Backlog Challenge. 

 

So far I'm really enjoying Burnout Paradise (almost 14 hours in). The game is just pure fun and has a really high nostalgia factor. Right now I'm just missing the last license for the Platinum! The trophies are pretty easy but I'm usually getting distracted by silly things in the open world ? 

The only issues I have encountered are the time challenges...so far I haven't been able to find people online to tackle them together! Nevertheless, there is still plenty to do with all the included DLC's ?

 

I also started my New Game Plus run for Bastion. I'm having fun with the game but at the same time the level structures are starting to get a bit repetitive...don't get me wrong the art-style is astonishing and the story was also really interesting. Furthermore, the variety of weapons is a huge plus. Some of the dreams, with all 10 Shrine Idols invoked, will be a bit grindy but I'm looking forward to it ?

 

Oxenfree was my highlight so far. The story is incredible and the atmosphere just so immersive. Couldn't stop playing cause I wanted to know what is going to happen to Alex and her friends. Shame on me for waiting to long to play this gem ? can't wait for my second playthrough!!!! 

 

The plan for this weekend:

- get the Burnout Paradise 

- restart Lords of the Fallen

- finish Bastion's New Game Plus mode

Ni No Kuni 2 platinum! I seem to be on a roll with JRPGs lately. a few years ago I struggled to complete the story let alone 100% them. Not sure what I'll play next as I need to do some uni work. Edit: 71 hours, at least 10 of those were afk whilst kingdom sim was running and another 4-5 looking for skirmishes. Finished at level 72.
