Best call of duty game?

Hey everyone, I'm doing a little research for a video I'm recording and wanted to get a poll going on what was the best call of duty game you played, I think we all know the worst tbh. Also, call of duty haters I'll do your job for you right now "cod sucks, it's the same every year, I like mozzarella cheese sticks"

I also want to factor in which games you can go back and play with no problems.

For me, it is between CoD 4, Modern Warfare 2 and the original Blops. I went with CoD 4 though, that game was just about perfect online and it still has one of the greatest single player campaigns in a shooter as well.

World at War had my favorite campaign. MW2 was my favorite Multiplayer. Although Black Ops 2 was probably the better MP overall.

 

Not sure which one to pick in the poll lol.

I never got around to playing any of the multiplayer but campaign wise I really liked World at War and MW2. Before those two I'd play Cod 3 over and over but that's gone really dated.

COD: World at War would have to place number one on my list of favourite COD games. It was the best campaign wise because of it's gritty atmosphere, story and the ability to play co-op. Not to mention it was the first COD game to feature zombies and then again done a good job integrating the game mode.

 

Honorable mentions go to: Black Ops and MW3.

Haven’t played every one, but from what I have played, World at War was the best (due to great campaign, comined with couch co-op campaign play), followed by Black Ops (the best multiplayer maps and Ice Cube speaking russian)

COD 4 MW is a game I can still go back to and have fun with even after all these years so it got my vote.  Thought Finest Hour was really good with the different campaigns available but unfortunately age has caught up to it.

Blops 2.  The SP has some parts where it's not about reloading until you make it.  Strike Force missions have to be done right the first time in a campaign, and finishing all of them is needed for the best ending.  This adds some more challenge.

It deserves to get a re-master for PS4.

MW3 was my personal favorite. It's the first COD I personally played. I went back and bought the others to play them, but obviously didn't get the full feel of them since they're either hacked to shit or just very dead. I also played MW3 for an additional year because I could not STAND BO2. I only played BO2 during Double XP and only on hardcore because you couldn't kill shit in that game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is by far the best Call of Duty for multiplayer, in my opinion. I still play it 'til this day. It's my absolute favorite. Will probably play it until it completely dies. For campaign, I can't really say. I pretty much enjoy all the Call of Duty campaigns.

Black Ops 1 had it all. It had the best zombie map (kino), great story twist and fantastic multiplayer maps. Can't fault it.
