Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
I haven't really booted up my PS4 after going throughy fifth game for the event, so I figured I'd break the silence by doing a review for the non-trophy game I've been playing that makes me forget there's also a PS4 thatI could be spending time with. Kirby Star Allies is the latest "big" Nintendo exclusive release. It's not as epic a series like Zelda, but it doesn't try to be either. The Kirby series has, from the start, been about casual gaming - the creators wanted to make a platformer that could be played through by most people. I personally have not played through any Kirby game except the original first title, Kirby's Dream Land for the Game Boy (though there's also the golf game Kirby's Dream Course on the SNES which I liked a lot). Truth be told, I was only moderately interested in Star Allies, but I still bought it in advance. The four player mechanic didn't appeal to me because neither my wife nor any of my gaming friends wanted to join in, I wasn't sure about whether or not the game would be worth the €60 price tag and the trailers didn't do a whole lot for me after the initial "wow, a Kirby game!" surprise. I was very wrong though. This game is a great casual platformer, a lot of fun to play solo and it's taking a lot of effort to keep the experience fresh, more so than any other game I've played in recent memory. It's fun to figure out what to do with different combinations of followers, though I have to admit that as soon as they were available, I made sure I always have King Dedede and Meta Knight in my party. I've finished the first three worlds by now, but I'm going through it exploration-style, finding and playing all secret levels as well, so I'm taking more time to play the game than the average person. I'm hoping to finish the game before or during the next weekend, and I'll start another PS4 game afterwards.
Jaguargenie
@Kevvik Thanks for the Amnesia review. It was an awesome review and now I wanna play it. I have it from PS+ but never got around to it. You are totally right that good horror games are so rare right now. This is why I love this event. ?
PerryToxteth
Fellow KYCers, Thanks to all who chimed in on Game of Thrones for me! It makes much more sense now that this is a separate game that's based in the GOT realm. I'm guessing if you've seen the show, it must be similar to Shadow of Mordor where the game has new LOTR characters, but old familiar faces make occasional cameos. After finding that out, I can now figure out the TV characters pretty easy, and that will probably goad me into trying it out on HBO ( we already have a subscription so my wife can watch "Little Big Things"). It just seems daunting to tackle a 7-8 season series from the start. Lucky enough though, I've managed to not hear any big spoilers for Game of Thrones. Though I did find out something big happened on a grand staircase. True story, my wife and I were in Dubrovnik, Croatia last summer and I guess much of GOT has been filmed there. We started heading up a large staircase and we come across two guys who are freaking out and pretty much ready pull out their manhood and start whacking off. They were shouting "This is where He-Man killed Skeletor!!!" (I can't remember the real names but you catch my meaning.) Here's all this fantastic, centuries-old history surrounding them and they are losing their shit over a fictional show. But I get it and kudos to anyone who travels there and spends tourist dollars in one of the neatest cities on the planet!

I've been at he shooting location for the wedding of Daenerys from S1 though, just months after S1 was shown on television. I wouldn't be aware of Game Of Hrones for anoher couple of years though, and the location (Azure Window, on Gozo, a small island next to Malta) was beautiful enough that I wanted to go there just to see it. People are weird sometimes about their films and shows. I guess these would be the same people that blame The Last Jedi for being too different after blaming The Force Awakens for being too much of the same.

After seeing someone playing through Kirby Robobot, I really wish I had not spent my money on Splatoon 2. Anyways, I've seen the footage and it looks like Kirbymania is going to come back big-time. Now onto work... Game 5, Day 2 Did not progress very much today, just got to Gaia's Navel and met Watts. Will be fighting Boss #2 tomorrow first thing. So I haven't got any trophies for today. This game really is stingy with the trophies since the only trophies in this game are story-progression or getting max level in everything which won't happen until near the end of the game. So don't expect more than 5% from this game in this session. I found that if you hit an enemy with a weak attack after you hit with a strong attack, they are stunned long enough for you to get another strong attack in, basically stunlocking them, because the damage delay keeps them from attacking briefly. That's the only good thing I can say about this problem. Also, I found another annoying thing; enemies attack even if they can't reach you, so expect to hear a lot of annoying attack sounds while enemies off-screen are trying to swipe at you.
Popular Post jasondm300
This whole thing with my TV being broken is really throwing off my KYC. Here are the reviews for the past 2 I did. Crypt of the Necrodancer 1/29 trophies D Ranking 3 hours Crypt of the Necrodancer is a Roguelike that has the characters moving to the beat of the music to move or attack. The main character is Cadence, and she is looking for your father who disappeared into the crypt. It might be one of the hardest roguelikes I have played. After a few hours, I was able to just finish the first area. The story is pretty barebones so far, but the gameplay has been pretty fun. If I put more time into it, I could more than likely get a better rhythm to the game (no pun intended) and get farther. It was a game I have wanted to play for a while, and I do find myself playing more of it in the future Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty 5/37 trophies D ranking 3 hours A complete remake of the PS1 game Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey, New 'n' Tasty follows the adventure of Abe as he escapes Rapture Farms while also freeing his fellow "co-workers." His species, the Mudokons, are held as slaves and are the next animal to be made into a snack brand. The game plays as a side-scrolling action/puzzle/platformer. I made it through to chapter 2. I was freeing all the characters I could, got to the next chapter, and apparently missed some secret areas due to it saying that there were 50 casualties from Mudokons I missed. I found a few secret areas, and that is where I spent most of my time as they were pretty tricky. I'll probably re-start it on my PS4 when I get the time, but I had no problems with the Vita version My ranking of Games I have played so far: 1. Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet 2. Crypt of the Necrodancer 3. Oddworld: New and Tasty 4. Dungeons 2 5. Not a Hero 6. Handball 2016 @Hemiak Is that ok if I update the games I play for the rest of the month? Popular Post DamagingRob
World of Final Fantasy- Day 1 The kid wakes up. Oh, wait.. wrong game. But a kid named Lann does wake up. And apparently, doesn't notice the creature planted on his head.. I think I'd notice if something was sitting on my head, wouldn't you? Anyways, he goes to the coffee shop he works at, and serves the only customer. Then his twin sister, Reynn, shows up, and drags him outside to show him no one is there.. The place is deserted, all except for them and the person in the coffee shop. She also points out the thing on his head. The creature introduces itself as Tama, and is a Mirage (Tama has a weird habit of inserting "the" in front of random words when talking, which could annoy some people. Doesn't bother me, but just saying). And the customer from the coffee shop introduces herself as Enna Kros, and is this world's god. She explains that they once were powerful Mirage Keepers, but have had their powers and Mirages taken away. Along with portions of their memories. But if they can recover their Mirages, they may be able to regain their memories and see their families again. And so the two of them enter the world of Grymoire, the land of Mirages. Gameplay seems simple enough. You have the old ATB (Active Time Battle) battle system, which stops when it's your turn. Or you can change the settings, and have it keep going. With the usual options of Attack, Magic, Items, etc. But this game let's you assign shortcuts to some of them, so simply pressing a single button when it's your turn will perform the action assigned. Then there's the Imprism mechanic. Basically, just about any monster can be captured like a Pokémon game. But some are easier to catch than others. You can't just damage them all, and then throw a Poké Ball. One example, was one needed to have been confused before I could catch it. And on top of that, I needed to have another Mirage's prism, which meant unlocking it in it's Mirage Board. The Mirage Board is something like FFX's Sphere Grid, though much less complex. You get SP points when leveling up, and can use them to unlock nodes on it. These will give a Mirage new abilities or stat enhancements. And you can "evolve" them like in Pokémon, by reaching the end of the path. But this can only be done at save points, or by using an expensive shop item. And you can deevolve them, as well. Besides taking Mirages into battle, you can set them up in "stacks." Stacks combine their HP totals and attacks/defense with Reynn and Lann's. But creating them isn't so simple. You have to have a Small, Medium, and Large Mirage/person for a full stack. Reynn and Lann can either fill the Large or Medium role, depending on if they're in their normal forms (Jiants), or in their chibi ones (Lilikin). So you'll either have a Medium and Small Mirage on top of them, or a Small one on top with a Large one on the bottom. Then there's the Colosseum where you can fight tougher battles for great rewards, a room where you can awaken Mediums (heroes from past FF games) and then use them in battle, fight in special battles to help said Mediums, accept and complete quests from various individuals, and a shop in town where you can stock up on supplies (ran by Chocolina from the FF XIII trilogy ). All in all, I'd say this is going to be a fun one. It's fairly silly, but I can dig it. Time played: 5 hours. Trophy progress: 7/49 for 10% and an E rank.

Speed up + Moon Energy will be your best friend. And I guess I'll make one last update, but since this relates to the final boss, putting it behind a spoiler tag, Spoiler I never thought it was possible to make the Mana Beast an even more annoying final boss than it already was. Congrats SquareEnix, you outdid yourself here and made the absolute worst final boss I've seen in a long time. And to think, they didn't change a thing other than making the graphics prettier. It's the absolute worst battle because you can barely hit the freaking thing thanks to the awful mechanics in this game. Even the Speed up + Moon Energy trick I've been using to try and make this bearable isn't working now. About the only way you can hit the thing is by doing a fully charged attack with Mana Magic + Moon Energy + Speed up and maybe you'll get a crit for just under 800 damage. Out of well over 10 rounds of this, I only had 1 normal attack connect. Even years later, I still hold that the Dark Lich is the real final boss. Screw the Mana Beast, it's a crappy battle and I cannot believe they made it worse. The Dark Lich was freaking amazing in this game other than my inability to hit him without spamming magic. And I'll give them that the remastered version of that theme is actually pretty good. The original is still better, but it's very appropriately creepy for Thanatos. Here it is if you want a listen: There's actually a chance I could get the plat for this tonight. If not, I'll get it pretty soon since all I have left now once I beat the game is grinding magic levels on the sprite, farming for weapon orbs and two pieces of equipment. Popular Post MarkusT1992
Game #4: The Surge (Days 1+2) The Surge is the second better know recent game from Deck13, the developers of Lords of the Fallen. Like Lords of the Fallen this game is also a Souls like game but this time with a mechanical setting instead of fantasy. What I mean with that is that you fight against humans in heavy exo suits ore robots. The game starts with your character goin to a job application at CREO. You are bound to a wheelchair but the company gives everyone a chance. So you drive through the building till you get to an intersection. Here you have to decide for what to apply. This part serves as your class joice. You can be a fast, agile person or a heavy, tank one. I chose the fast contrary to Dark Souls where I always play a tank. You then are in a room tied to a some kind of table where your exo suite is installed by screwing the parts right in your body without any anesthetics. I guess that could be painfull but at least you can walk now (after you wake up from your unconsciousnes of course). Here starts the real game. Something happend while you were out and now you need to make your way back to a building. As I said above this is a Souls like game. All the main features from the Souls games are in this one too. You fight enemies to gain junk, which is used to raise your energy level. Your energy level determins how much you can equip as each armor piece has an energy value. It's similar to Transistor's Memory. You also have some implants which use up energy. When you die you drop all your junk and need to pick it up at the sceene of your death. In this game you only have a given amount of tie to get your junk back as you have a timer. I don't know what happens when the timer hits 0 but probably al your junk is gone or you just get back a friction of what you had. You also have some "checkpoints" where you can level up or craft equipement. After resting there all enemies respawn just like in Souls games. I'm not far in the game, I yet have to encounter the first boss. The battles feel good so far and a bit challenging if you fight against more enemies at once. A nice feature is that you can selct which body part to attack. The enemies have amored parts and unarmored parts. Attack an unarmored part deals more damage but you need to sever body parts to get new armor. Damaging a specific part like the head enought can give you the crafting recipe for that part. Using a finishing move raises the chance. That's all for now. I'll go in detail more once I played more. Time played: ~2h 30min Trophies: 7/57
Popular Post dertswa687o
Game 3: Persona 4 Golden The whole being out of town thing really threw everything off for me. I'm home on the weekends but I didn't really have the motivation to start a new game (so I played some Arkham Knight). But I did get an actual Vita so I've been able to play some Persona 4 Golden. Much like Persona 5, P4G is basically Cutscenes 4 Ever at the start. You play as Yu, or whatever you name yourself, who has to move to Inaba for a year for reasons I'm forgetting right now. Inaba is out in the middle of nowhere where nothing ever happens besides the serial killer that's on the loose. No big deal. You and your friends from school decide to investigate the killer and form the aptly named Investigation Team. There are two parts to the game. There's your normal life where you have the opportunity to talk to other characters and build your relationships with them. It can be hard to remember all the things you can do in a day, but you can tap the Voice button which tells you what other people did during that specific time period. There are also the dungeons which are randomly generated floors where you fight enemies and bosses and stuff. Unlike P5, in P4G the dungeons are all randomly generated. It does make them a bit less interesting, but it works alright with the portable nature of the game. P4G definitely lacks the style that P5 has. Not that P4G has no style, it's just not as blatant as P5. It's apparent how they added a lot of quality of life changes in P5. In battle you can only switch your Persona once. Change to the wrong Persona by accident and there's nothing you can do. Social Links are a bit tougher to find and you need to remember what days some are available. The trophies will take 2 playthroughs. I could max all social links in 1 playthrough with a guide, but I decided it wouldn't be worth the trouble. I was having trouble beating the first major boss so I did resort to a guide for that though. Overall the game is good and I look forward to playing more. I know I have plenty to go. CJ_Mystery
@dertswa687o, I am glad to see P4G as your third game. I enjoyed playing the game(especially since you can skip all story whatsoever by the fast forward option and cutscene skips) and fighting through the dungeons and getting more powerful Persona. The quality of life part was a bit tricky but I followed a guide for the Social Links. In my first playthrough, I did miss one Social Link event so I only got it to Level 9 but it wasn't too bad. I also checked a Let's Play for all of the cutscenes I skipped in game so I didn't lose any story information. Speaking of Persona 5, I just platinumed a game which has a scene where everyone is wearing blank masks and I was thinking "Hey, that is just like Persona 5!" Popular Post CJ_Mystery
Game 3, Day 3 I finally recruited both the sprite and the girl and got my second trophy for beating Tropicallo, who looks a lot cooler in the remake. Unfortunately, no sooner did I recruit the girl when she and the sprite got wiped by those annoying Chobin Hoods. I knew they were a pain in the original, but even more so in the remake. Then again, I shouldn't try ot advance in the story with a Level 1 character against Level 10 enemies. So I went back to Gaia's Navel and ran through it, getting weapon levels for everyone. The main character got to the current level in every weapon(Sword, Spear[both at Level 2], Boomerang, Bow, Axe and Glove) while the others got to Level 1 in Sword and Spear at least. You definitely need someone on Boomerang duty to stun those archers so they don't get off their arrows. Spiky Tiger is going to be a NIGHTMARE. Edit: After watching someone do a Secret of Mana playthrough on Youtube, I have come to realize that the damage delay I was ranting about seems to be only on the PS Vita version. The PS4 version seems to not have the problem and damage pops up right away. Unless this was a PC version I was unaware about. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
Game #4 - Day #4 - Progress Time played: about 4 hours Trophies earned: 5/58 I'll already post my update for day 4, as I'm not sure that I'll play more of it today. I did a couple more story missions and a bunch of side missions as well as gathering a truck load of materials for upgrades. The side missions so far have been: Stop a convoy - failed this one because a civilian car decided to drive on the opposite lane just when the first patrol car of the convoy was about to get close. Convoy got the hell out of dodge Steal a plane Steal a helicopter Hack an Antenna - failed this one, as I wasn't expecting having to hack 2 of them and the waypoint route it showed me on the map sent me to the wrong location for the second one.... Defend a radio Helping out Rebels Other than that I grabbed a bunch of collectibles and unlocked a few upgrades. Also realised that you don't have to wait for the other squad members to get into the car (thank fuck for that, because that can take quite some time on occasion as the AI seems to have trouble finding the doors). It's much better to just drive off and let them teleport into their seats, because video games. I also went back to Agents of Mayhem for the online contracts. The trophy for it still hasn't been fixed... When I got the trophy for completing 30 regular contracts, I went to check the stats for them. It said I had 47 in total (counter is combined for both online and regular ones) , which means I'm already over the 15 required online contracts. By now I've completed an additional 2, so I'm currently at 19 and still no trophy...

Oobedoob S Benubi
I just decided to check but oh yeah, Q.U.B.E. 2 has been released! Must've missed it because I was too busy anticipating Kirby Star Allies. I'll buy it and play it this weekend, making it my sixth game for the event (though I have obtained no trophies in Deus Ex and for now it seems that I won't try it again, so Q.U.B.E. 2 will only be my fifth game to actually impact my completion percentage). I figured with it being out already, I must've missed @Melanogaster1987 reviewing the game here but they seem to have disappeared after posting their starting stats. So I guess I'll go into the game blind, doesn't matter as I loved the first game and the second one is getting good critic/user reviews so I'm willing to jump in without even checking any gameplay videos or trailers. P.S. Anyone remotely interested in these games: the director's cut of Q.U.B.E. is on sale for €3 right now and definitely worth it if you enjoy first person puzzle games.
Popular Post Metal Slime King
Q.U.B.E.: Director's Cut (Rating: ) This is a 1st person puzzle game where your character wakes up with no recollection in a strange environment consisting of mainly cubes and you have to solve a series of puzzles to open up a linear path to progress. You're told via radio that you've been beamed into a Borg spacecraft headed straight for earth, the process of warping scrambled your brain but if you could destroy the ship and save the earth that would be great (OR maybe you're trapped in some sinister underground testing facility. Is the wife a lie?! You'll have to finish the story to find out). The puzzles are fun but with the exception of the last level I found them to be a little too easy. There are elements you can interact with scattered around and their placement pretty much infer the solution. There are cubes you can bounce off of and cubes you can use as platforms. There are cubes that will rotate a section of the environment. The game does a nice job introducing new elements as you progress. Marbles, lasers and magnets all make an appearance eventually and it's nice when the additive theory of colour comes in handy. The last level is a step up in challenge because you get the power to create elements in set spots so since you're starting with a blank canvas the solution is a little less obvious. The bonus levels are less fun. "First person platforming time trials" are a bad combination of words in my opinion. The puzzles are fun the first time but completing them in the required times is a little bit more frustrating. There's one trophy that requires access to the 2nd last trial but in order to access it you'll have to get Gold times in most of the preceding trials. I'm sure I'll finish it shortly just not in the time allotted for this event. The graphics are OK which doesn't say a lot since they are rendering a very simple, minimalist environment. It's kind of funny, you have hands but when you look down you've got no body. I guess beaming technology scrambles more than your brain. The music has a surreal, atmospheric quality. Probably the biggest factor dragging this game down from a (I did like the game, mostly) was my 60% success rate simply firing the game up. About 40% of the time it errors out on load up and I have to try again. Once it totally froze in game and I had to reset from the button on the front of the PS4. I realize this game was originally made for PC by 3 younger guys and if someone handed me a demo disc at a college cafeteria I'd cut the game a lot of slack. Presumably a larger entity was responsible for porting it to PlayStation and really once a game is for sale on PSN it shouldn't matter how it got there, it should at least load up consistently. I picked this game up for a couple of bucks in a recent sale and I certainly don't regret it. Qube 2 was recently released and I'm interested to check it out but I would want to hear some reviews before I considered picking it up at full price. Cleaned up the last trophy I needed for the PS4 version and stacked the PS3 version as well. I actually got the 6th fastest achiever on PSNP for the PS3 version with 3 hours and 55 minutes by doing the speed run levels first and then going through the story mode in one sitting. I had a unique technical issue with the PS3 version auto-saving not actually saving. It really sucked to get gold in one of the time trials only to go to the main menu again and realize the time didn't save. I don't know what caused the game to go into it's glitched state, whether it was restarting from the middle of the level or what but in order to ensure I was saving my times I had to constantly close the game completely and start it again fresh between each run. Fortunately the levels were still fresh in my head from the PS4 version and it didn't take too many runs to get the required amount of gold times to unlock the one time trial level with a trophy associated with it. That trophy is pretty much just for doing the level in the intended manner and that level was one of the more enjoyable time trial levels. The main reason why I then went through the story in one sitting was that I was uncertain whether the save function actually worked. As it stands I would still be interested in QUBE 2. Hopefully it's a little more polished technically and the emphasis on timed levels has been somewhat reduced. Completion: (18 out of 19 trophies) 90%. Completion: (19 out of 19 trophies) 100%, no plat. x 2 Edited April 14, 2018 by mking_63

Popular Post dizzyshadow
Game 7: The Witch And the Hundred Knight: Revival Knight The witch and the hundred knight is an action RPG set in the fictional land of Medea, you play as the hundred knight a being who has been summoned by the Swamp witch Metallia to help in her war against the forest witch. You quickly turn the tide in that battle, however you soon discover the the hundred knight has the ability to destroy pillar which are sealing in the swamp, thus allowing Metallia to visit other locations. So metallia commands you to help expand the swamp over the whole world. In gameplay is fairly basic hack & slash destroy everything across the whole map. the one interesting mechanic is that you can equip 5 weapons at once which are used in turn to attack and create combos, this feels like there should be good opportunities to customise but i haven't really had time to explore this yet as i've only got a limited selection of weapons. To be honest this hasn't really engaged with me at all, it all just feels a bit slow, there is far too much talking in between any actual game play. The game play also feels quite shallow (although i appreciate i'm not very far through the game so there may be more i haven't seen yet.). To be honest i won't be hurrying back to this but i may give it another go at a later date. Playtime: Approx 3 hours Trophies: 2/37 Rating: Completion: 52.74% (-0.36%) Next Up: Cars 3
Popular Post CJ_Mystery
Game 5, Day 4 (sort of) It's 5:34 in the morning and I just finished my next day of this game session. I know that it's early morning but I couldn't get to sleep because of my stupid throat congestion so I decided to just knock this out. And I did more than I usually did. Elinee the witch was made very spooky and I expected a horrible tiger-mauling but Spikey Tiger was a lot more toothless than I had expected at my level. The dang Chobin Hoods were more dangerous! (Primm the girl died AGAIN. TWICE. IN THE FIRST HAUNTED FOREST SCREEN! Why did they fill the first screen with so many dang Chobin Hoods?!?!? ) Anyways, the Spikey Tiger did do a bunch of damage with his fire spells and rolling spike ball but he only got one off before Popoi(the Sprite) took him out. I got the whip and then went back to the Water Palace, where I was immediately ripped by the Iffish, who were very dangerous with their Acid Storm spells and bubble breath. So I just avoided them and headed to the boss at the end, who was a lot more predictable than in the original version. I got the Water Magic and trained it for both characters up to Level 1 on the way through Pandora(which I needed to go to because one of the characters in the guide is there). No more magic spam. On the way there, I ended up having to quit out because the game was getting an update which fixed a few bugs. One of the things I noticed was that now the menu rings shows which character ring you're viewing, removing a rant I had earlier about having trouble equipping weapons to multiple characters. Also, while damage delay still exists for consecutive hits, the damage delay is gone from the initial hit, making the game a little more bearable. After getting back to Gaia's Navel, I ran through the Earth Temple and, despite getting ambushed by a bunch of Ma Goblins, Fire Gigas was as easy as before with Freeze Level 1. After getting Gnome magic and sealing the second seed, I trained Gnome magic up to 1.96 (4% just at the last part) and trained up all of the newly forged weapons(Boomerang, Glove, and Axe) as well as the new weapons(Whip and Javelin). So now I have all of the weapon types and most of them are at Level 1 or higher(except the Axe with the Sprite, forgot to have him use that). Popoi will get Undine Level 2 eventually(Primm has it already, I need to train her in Gnome next). As an aside, every time I rest at an inn(which is almost all the time now since Fairy Walnuts are too expensive as of now and I need to refill my magic) causes a cutscene between the main characters. It sadly seems that the characters have somewhat stereotypical personalities - Primm is a typical girly girl who is obsessed with her looks, Popoi is the usual bratty fairy, and Randi is just a cocky boy. At least they have some personality unlike in the original game. Trophy Completion: 5% (5 trophies) EDIT: I realize that I shouldn't be spoiling plot for the game, so I will try to remove any story spoilers from now on for the remaining two days of this session. I am eager to go back to Dark Cloud 2 for the remainder of the events. Edited March 22, 2018 by CJ_Mystery

I was a regular player of this series many years ago, but recently i haven't invested much time in it I think Madden 11 was the last one i played at any length. The main reason i came back this year is i heard they had added a story mode and i was keen to see how story mode could work in a sports game. Called Longshot the story is about 4 hours long and it features Devon Wade (pictured right) and his attempt to get drafted into the NFL. Now this is a great story, it turn the game into pretty much a move inter-spaced with small elements of madden gameplay. This isn't a fairytale story Devon is "longshot" to be drafted and he signs up to a reality show following his progress where he gets help from a former NFL coach. How you play has a impact on the outcome and it not a guaranteed happy ending. I really enjoyed this, so much so that i couldn't go to bed until it was finished (for which i'm paying the price today). If you don't have an interest in the sport this is unlikely to be of that much interest to you, but for anyone with an understanding of the game i'd encourage you to give this a try. And as a bonus it features the greatest quarterback ever to play the game, and no i don't mean the one on the cover of game and as a double bonus there is a country music theme song, which has been going round in my head all day " he's a long shot, he's a long shot" is pretty much all i can remember. Just wanted to say you picked a great lineup for this event! Hidden Agenda has been on my watch list for awhile. The Flame and the Flood was actually on my game list in a previous KYC event, but sadly, I had to drop it because I realized I'd have no time to play it. Like you, I bought Madden on and off for many years. I even have one for the Sega Genesis. It might even be the first installment, I really don't know. The Longshot might prompt me to try this out again. Frankly, the EA micro transactions have really turned me off their games. In this series, they had the MUT team trophies that were a money suck. And I can't wait to read you review on Cars 3. I'm looking for a game to give to my son for his birthday. He likes games involving driving and we just played Lego City Undercover. He would spent the time driving, I would spend the time grabbing collectibles. That game really is the Mother of Fetch Quests ( 450 yellow bricks, 300+ characters, 100+ vehicles). Even worse, our save got corrupted halfway through so we had to start all over. Anyways, thanks for the great reviews! I wouldn't be aware of Game Of Hrones for anoher couple of years though, and the location (Azure Window, on Gozo, a small island next to Malta) was beautiful enough that I wanted to go there just to see it. How did you like Malta? It's high on my Must Travel To list. The forts around Valletta look incredible and it fits my travel schedule of "history in the morning, beaches in the afternoon to appease my wife" travel mantra.
