Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
Game #1: Knack Final Review Total playtime: about half an hour Trophies: 3/42 for an E rank disappointing game the tradition continues KYC events start bad Spoiler Well, it's now day six, and I won't have much gaming time today - I haven't played any videogame at home for days now, and only reason I gamed anything at all since Saturday morning is because of me going to an arcade hall with friends on Saturday, and me not having to drive myself to work today. I'm going to cut off Knack, I'm just not feeling it. Going by what I knew about the game beforehand I expected some kind of platformer with a character that kept growing in size like in Katamari or in The Maw, but in the bit that I played of Knack there was little to no platforming, the growing and shrinking of the character was completely random and based on how big he needed to be for the next section, and wat was there in the game was some uninspired 'fighting' with basic controls. Okay, so I'm probably not fair to the game because my private life is kind of hectic right now and I have better things to do than spend more time on a game I don't feel like playing. I doubt I'll get any gaming time at all today, but if I do have some time I'd rather spend it on Elite: Dangerous or on one of the other games on my list. So for now my opinion of Knack amounts to: "snore". None of it appeals to me right now, perhaps it's just not the game for me but looking at the mixed reviews it gets from both critics and gamers it's probably not just me. Fans of the game: rest assured that while I do not want to play more right now, I'm not deleting it from my PS4 yet, I might just continue on it in the future. Also: jup, still doing final reviews in the form of a haiku. Also also: jup, the streak continues and I've started four KYC events with a game that disappoints me (KYC1's first game was Tropico 5 which I loved, and KYC2 started with BADLAND which I thought was mediocre but not really bad). Knack final score: (everybody knows by now how my scoring system works, right?) Next up: Not sure yet. It's probably better if I pick something that's sure to be a hit for me, before I give up completely. So Mighty No. 9 might be a good bet. Edit: just saw a couple of reviews for Mighty No. 9 and perhaps it's better to play something else first. Wipeout collection should do fine, for instance, as I tested one or two tracks when I bought the game and I thought it was pretty cool. Popular Post Hemiak
Game 2: Rime 2? He's played 30 min slept 1/32 trophies. Others have covered the basics of Rime so I'll just give my basic break down. You're a boy who washed up on an island and goes exploring. The game looks pretty cool and the music/sounds are good. The controls are pretty basic and the story is basically a wait and see type deal. You wander around, activate green colored objects. By shouting at them, and solve basic puzzles. Most so far seem based on perspective. As in, you have two or three objects that you have to move around and look at from the right angle to open a door. Most are pretty easy since the correct place to move the blocks is clearly marked on the ground. The game is OK, but hasn't really sucked me in so far. I keep drifting off to sleep while playing it, most likely due to the slow nature of the game and the fact there there is no action to speak of. I recently made it through the first area I believe. And the only trophy I have is a random one for a miscellaneous objective I accidentally completed. I'll probably move on to something else as Mim doesn't particularly like this one either so far. I'll come back to it eventually, probably at a time I'm better rested.
Popular Post Edward_FOX_86
What's up! I've been meaning to write sooner but I've been busy. I'm a Dogwalker which here in Portugal is not a very common job to have. I have to say it's a rare job actually . Anyway I have to accept all the Dogs I can and so far I have 7 Dogs I have to go for a walk and 3 were newcomers so I'm kinda of settleing in trying to do everything and enter some sort of routine. Besides this I work in Tourism and I ocasionally publish some live streams on Youtube. I didn't even had time to chat with voodoo , sorry about that pal Anyway this is my #1 GAME out of 5 this month. Street FIghter X TEkken on the PS3 Just to make things clear I'm a huge fan of Street Fighter and I have very Fond Memories of playing this with my cousin and his neighbour (some rich spoiled kid), anyway everytime we played he would beat the crap out of us because he knew all the special moves (he owned the game of course) and even the Super, Ultra or whatever. So I set my mind to one day beat his ass in honour of me and my younger cousin We would ask him how he did all the tricks and he would never tell us, really smartass this one. So I can't remembre very well but I think I took the manual and started memorizing all the special attacks of Ryu, because he was my favorite character and I felt that If I was ever gonna have a chance it was with Ryu. Anyway I learned all the specials and one day I beat that spoiled kid and after that he started teaching us how to play with other characters. I remember also trying to teach my cousin cause at one point he lent us the game, so he wasn't all that bad eheh, I think he was trying to be the cool kid who beat everyone at street fighter. I told this to my cousin recently and he had totally forgot about him, but I still find myself remembering things nobody else (that were a part of that) remembers. This was just a story of How I got Introduced to the series and the First one (on console) I played was Street Fighter Alpha 2 on the Sega Saturn (previosuly I had played on the árcades machines) Getting to the point now this game wants to be a street fighter game and succeeds but it implements some new mechanics that are mainly present in the tekken series, specially tekken tag tournment due to the fact that changing places with your ally while comboing and making all sorts of punches and kicks and even throws pretty much wins you the game. It's a good game the cross arts and supers and the duel super attack you get to do are smart decisions by the makers to really have a mix of tekken with street fighter. Not only the characters but also adding new ways of winning that are (I have to say) really easy to accomplis. For instance one of the Super attacks (at least with Ryu) is basically and Hadouken but instead of pressing just a punch button you have to presse, circle and X. I don't know how good it would be in the perspective of a Tekken Fan but In my perspective, and I'm all about the street Fighter I gotta say this is a really solid Game. Also I have to say I kinda cheated on this one eheh I had played the vita version but really I wanted a reason to play my Ps3 more and even so I had to do everything all over again. A con in my opinion is the art style. I don't like it that much. Also the lag you get in some matches is unfair and so those games shouldn't even be permitted by the game cause when your about to play you never know. I also tried the online and it's decent. I've also completed the game on the hardest difficulty with both Street Fighter Characters and Tekken. But a A rank and I don't think I'll platinum this game but I usually plat games that I'm really interested in and that aren't so crazy diffiicult . My stats I got 17 out of 50 Trophies and A Rank (27%) As for general stats 263 Games 27,81% I also started two games and I'm loving Super Meat Boy The other was Wolfestein which I just wanted to try out. Cheers everyone

So my Knack score was "mostly bronze (bad), but a bit on the way to silver (mediocre). Here the rating scale is, in all its glory, including historical information: Spoiler I started on the following rating scale: Awful piece of shit. Watching paint dry would have been more interesting. Just bad. Not horrible but it leaves a sour taste. And not the good kind of sour like lemons. Mediocre all the way. Too mediocre to even compare it to something, just like... uhm... Fun game, great while it lasts. It can brighten even your bad days. Just like pizza. Reaching unsafe levels of awesome: It has been suggested however, once other people tried using it, that a five point rating scale is not enough for many to judge different games on. Double icons were tried for a while (so in between platinum and gold score would be " / "), making it a nine point scale, but in the end I decided that a thirteen point scale would be the handiest to use. Like so, from best to worst: ... and so on and so forth, until reaching the lowest score, . Edited March 6, 2018 by Cool Rick
Popular Post dizzyshadow
Game 2 : AereA Aerea is a Diablo style RPG, once I’d explained this my wife, she said I haven’t played one of those for ages I’d like to give this a go, so we decide to play multiplayer. Unfortunately this probably wasn’t the game to get her back into gaming it’s just plain bad. Firstly there is a bug in multiplayer such that if you view the details of the quest, then player one can no longer attack or interact with object, given the story doesn’t explain very well what you need to do, you have to view these details often and once you have done the only solution is to close the game entirely and reload. Secondly the game is stupidly easy, all normal monsters die with one hit and even the bosses take less than 10 hits. I’m over half way through the game and I haven’t even come close to dying the only real threat is the traps which occasionally catch you by surprise. There aren’t even a particularly large number of monsters to attack. Given this the game essentially becomes walk around until you find the particular object you are looking for. Finally i've discovered a boss which appears to be unbeatable, he has 3000 hit points and whatever attack i do i only do one damage, pretty sure this is also a bug, as based on videos of others gameplay its possible to kill him in a few hits, but nothing I do works, and its not helped by the fact every time you die you have to go through the tedious level beforehand which takes about 20 minutes just to fight him. Officially the worst game I've played in any KYC. Just avoid it. Playtime: approx. 6 hours Trophies: 13/29 Rating: Future Plans: i won't touch this again Completion: 52.99% (-0.11%) Next up: The flame in the flood
Popular Post MarkusT1992
Game #1: Rime (Day 6) I finished one playthrough during my six days with this game. There's not much I can add to my previous updates. I played the game without a guide, I not even used a collectable guide for my initial playthrough and I would advise anyone to do so. In my opinion you can find most things by your own even though I missed some collactables. For the remaining things you have to get you can use chapter selection after finishing the game once. Even if you had to replay the entire game it wouldn't tke that long to do. Rime is a pretty straightforward game. Explore your surroundings and you should find the solution for the puzzle at hand without much trouble. Story wise I don't want to write anything specific about the ending. I just repeat what I said in my last review. It's about the 5 phases of mourning and it might not be as it seems. There were a few things I didn't like about the game. The first thing is before the game even starts. You can't skip the developper logos which is kind of annoying as it takes some time to show everything. One other thing is the initial load time. Every time you start a new chapter it needs some time to load. I know that're only minor problems but I noticed them as negativ. All in all I liked the game and would recommend it to everyone who likes adventures, especially if you got it for free with PS+. I want to finish the remaining trophies for this game, mainly for the Monthly Madness event, so this game won't lower my completion in the end. I'll give this game a Time played: No clue. I loose track when a game has no playtime shown. Maybe around 5h. Trophies: 12/32
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
Game #2 - Day #1 - Preview Agents of Mayhem Another game I don't know too much about. It's a Saints Row spin-off with mediocre reviews and was at some point (potentially still is) glitchy as hell. Sounds like a recipe for success already. Having played 3 of the Saints Row games, out of which I loved the third, thought Gat Out of Hell was alright and didn't care much for the 4th, I'm hoping for something a bit different. I generally didn't mind the silliness of the Saints Row games, but felt like the 4th went a bit overboard. The missions also felt extremely repetitive, so maybe this one being more action packed will make things more interesting.
Popular Post ladynadiad
Total progress: About a half an hour played Trophies: 0/45 (haven't synced my Vita trophies for it to show as a F rank yet) I have to say, this is a really weird game so far. Haven't gotten very far, so I won't spoil others in the mob very much since I swapped to an earlier spot. Pretty much the game starts off where your character, Kanata, fell into some hole that popped up when the street collapsed. He then ends up in some other world thinking he's dead. He finds a weird girl who doesn't remember anything. If I remember right her name was Mayura or something like that. I seriously suck with names, so don't quote me on that one. Playwise so far it's an oddball mix of a 2D platformer and a turn based RPG. When exploring dungeons they are 2D and in a style more like a platformer where you have to jump and attack enemies. But when you attack or run into an enemy it swaps to the battle which is more like an RPG. If you go into battle by attacking you end up in attack mode and go first. If you didn't, you start in guard mode and the enemies go first. So it's to your benefit to always try to attack enemies you see. Depending on the placement of the monsters, you often can attack multiple enemies at a time, so most battles are done within 2-3 attack phases so far. So far I've only been in one dungeon, the Sunlit Forest. Looks pretty enough and the first quest was a simple go find food quest. So I explored around until we found a bush with some yummy berries and of course the weird girl just chomps right into one with no care in the world, thankfully they were safe. After that, we hear some voices from Kanata's friends and then it's off to explore the forest some more. Yeah, I have little idea what is going on, but I guess I'll just do quests until I figure out more. It seriously is a weird game with an insanely low average completion and I can see why now. Chances are that at least one of the mob won't earn a trophy before we're done with our 3, 5 or 6 days playing it. I don't mind it so far though. I've heard the Vita version has issues, but I really haven't seen any so far beyond one part where it just stopped for a bit, popped up an error and then kept running just fine. Games played: 88 Games completed: 75 Completion: 89.22% (+0.35%) Unearned Trophies: 265 Trophies for this event: 36/270 Edit: And not related to this game, just got the confirmation from NISA that they are going to start billing for The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 LE in a week and confirming the March 27th release date, so unless the mail screws up royally, won't need my backup game and anyone wondering what that one is like can look forward to my thoughts at the end of the month. Also, I'm playing Time and Eternity again when at home and have access to the PS3. That was my first game from KYC 2 and I've made a tiny bit of progress in it and got it from 18% to 27% now. Still overall at a gain since Exist Archive hasn't hurt my completion yet. Edited March 11, 2018 by ladynadiad
Popular Post CJ_Mystery
Period 1, Final Day: Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories Final Report: Surprisingly, I spent all afternoon playing this, not what I was expecting. I actually cleared two floors(Agrabah and Monstro which I chose for Floor 3 and 4) and managed to use Aladdin's Friend Card to get enough Moogle Points for Moogle Mogul. Also managed to get enough Premium Cards and room creations for those trophies. Sadly, I didn't have enough Moogle Room cards to buy enough cards for Regular Customer, though I think I am pretty close. I am at Level 28, 4 levels to learning the Broken OP move, Lethal Frame, which is what I will create a boss deck for. Final Review: This is indeed the Black Sheep of the Kingdom Hearts series. The original, a 2.5-D battler for Gameboy Advance, worked well with the card system as you could use cheap dodges to avoid damage. Not so much here. I did die a second time... but only because my stupid fu'kin cat leapt onto her automatic feeder and emptied it on the floor forcing me to stop playing to sweep up the mess and I didn't pause the game so I got ambushed and Sora stood like a zombie while he got gang-raped. (Sorry about the rant, I love my cat, but what she does can drive me up the wall at times. Also, it was my fault, I should have paused myself to pause the game so I wouldn't get attacked.) ?? Anyways, demon cats aside, the game was sort of enjoyable, but I was getting a bit burned out. Luckily I'll be helping Sly Cooper get his family fortune back in the next period. Ciao for now! Final Trophy Stats: 15% (10 trophies out of 48) Current Completion: 86.39% Completion Drop: 4.68% (this is actually larger than it should be because I actually started three new games which added to it for my Spring Backlog Event) Edited March 7, 2018 by CJ_Mystery
Popular Post Kevvik
Game #2: Rime Day 3 Impressions Time played: 7 hrs So I finished the 2nd area after more exploring of every nook and cranny that I come across. I'm still really enjoying this but RL has just really gotten in the way. The controls have still been really tight for me and the game plays well into just getting sucked into the environment. Actually had to deal with a foe that involved mostly finding cover and working my way through the environment solving puzzles. No new mechanics to speak of. I am really enjoying this even though the pace is slow and story is still slim with hints at what happened. I could see how this might not be for everyone though. I'll definitely putter away at this now and then during the event as I need to finish it for Monthly Madness as well. In any case, this is a game that I will definitely be coming back to in order to find out what happened. Trophies earned: 13/32, 22% for D rank Score so far: 7/10 Completion Rate: 80.28% (-0.22% for the event) Next up: Game #3: The Talos Principle
Popular Post DamagingRob
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness- Final Review Well, I just beat the game, and I pretty much stand by my positive Day 1 review. It's not without its flaws, though. If you're like me, and wanting to get as much out of the story as you can, you'll be trekking across the game world ad nauseum, looking for all the Private Actions. There are literally hundreds of these fully voiced scenes, that add depth to the characters and story. And triggering them can get very tedious, as you have to enter a building and leave for the next one(s) to spawn. But many of them are entertaining, and I wanted to see them all. While doing all this backtracking for PAs, I also completed all the quests. They mostly involve killing a certain enemy/number of enemies, or finding/creating items. And this kept me pretty well leveled, and I only got a Game Over once on the lowest difficulty. And I'm not even sure why I got that one.. It was a random encounter, and the enemies that killed me in it never did whatever the hell they did on my next run through the area. Really weird. Towards the end of the game you do get a fast travel option, so you could save all this for then. But some of the PAs are missable, so may not see them all. And you may miss out on fighting enemies for the bestiary, as they change every few chapters. Graphics may not be the greatest ever, but they're good enough. Probably better than most PS4 JRPGs, who tend to operate on a budget with those. Music and voice acting are great. No complaints there. So yeah, really enjoyed this one. The story was entertaining, the gameplay was fun and engaging, and I liked the entire cast. Highly recommend ignoring the negative reviews, and giving this one a shot. I certainly wouldn't give it anything less than an 8/10, and would probably go with a 9. I guess with Billy's scale, that would be a ? Time played: 41 hours. (As you can see, it's not the longest JRPG either. With all the time I spent doing all that extra stuff, it could probably be completed much faster. But there's also higher difficulty levels, a post game dungeon, and lots more to do for the Plat). Trophy progress: 19/41 for 34% and an A rank. Did it lower my completion? Yes. But not by much. Lol. Probably not going to see a huge drop with only 5 games, but what are you gonna do? -0.12% so far. Edited March 7, 2018 by Jaco
Popular Post dertswa687o
So good news - I got the Star Ocean 4 plat! I was pumped to play something else so I decided to play some Guacamelee and..... I ended up enjoying it a lot and got that plat too. So my completion has actually gone up for now. Game 1 - Titanfall 2 This is the 52nd game on my profile and somehow it is the first FPS. So needless to say, it has been quite a while since I've played an FPS, and I gotta say Uncharted made me enjoy TPS a lot. I kept wanting to take cover behind stuff when I realized I'd just have to stand behind things to take cover. I started the campaign on Regular because I figured I'd do a 2nd playthrough for collectables anyway, so I might as well do that with Master difficulty. It usually helps knowing the levels and enemies before tackling the hardest difficulty in a shooter anyway. Regular difficulty isn't too challenging which is a nice change of pace after Guacamelee's hard mode. I didn't play Titanfall 1 so I have no idea what happened in that game, so I'm just taking the story as it comes to me. You play as Mr. Ordinary Name: Jack Cooper. He gets entrusted with a Titan after his superior dies in battle and has to learn to become a Titan pilot while in enemy territory. Luckily Jack is a killing machine since he is controlled by the player, so he has no trouble with anything. Jack needs to rendezvous with this Anderson guy, so we've been on a journey back to him so far. The gameplay is fairly standard FPS fare, except when you're in the Titan. In the Titan you have access to different loadouts like a machine gun, rockets, grenade launcher, etc. You unlock these throughout the campaign. You also have some special abilities like a shield and a limit break attack, but I honestly forget about the shield most of the time. It'll probably be more relevant on Master difficulty. All in all it reminds me of Halo mainly because of the setting. I don't think the campaign is particularly long as I just finished the 4th mission of 9. A fun, quick game is right up my alley after the 250 hour grind that was Star Ocean 4. Completion: 90.85% -> 91.54% Up Next: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy South Park: TFBH Edited March 7, 2018 by dertswa687o I'm stupid and forgot which game was next
Popular Post Myu
Day 4 Life got in the way. Day 5 and Day 6 I love this game and I don't want to put it down to start another one. I like most of the characters, especially Fran and Balthier (who would have guessed? ) and the story is interesting so far. For those of you who have already finished it, I'm currently at the Raithwall tomb. I spent a lot of time exploring, sometimes in places I shouldn't be at the moment if the enemies' level is any indication. Many paths are blocked by a sandstorm and I'm sometimes afraid I won't be able to remember every place I need to go back to. While Gambits were not that useful at the beginning, I now have everyone on Auto mode with a list of several actions they are supposed to do for each battle. This is especially nice with my White and Black Mages who are now able to heal status effects as soon as they are inflicted and to target enemies with their weaknesses. It takes a bit of thinking to create a good strategy and to adapt to every possible situation. The licence system is still annoying equipment-wise. Most of my characters have weapons or armor lvl7 unlocked but shops only offer up to lvl3 at the moment. I often find myself with a lot of money but I always go back to being a traveling beggar every time I find a new shop. I probably couldn't afford a lvl7 weapon right now anyway. What I like the most is to discover similarities with other FF games. I can see a little of FFXV in the battle system but I can also see some of FFIX and FFX in the characters. This game has the ability to summon good memories. No glitchy story-related trophies were experienced so far and I hope it stays that way. I'm not gonna lie, I'm still gonna play this game while playing the other ones on my list. New trophies earned : Total Completion % : 87.83% ( - 0.68% since the beginning of the event) Play Time : about 17 hours Next game : Grand Kingdom and its 1.06% UR plat!

It is from the same team (Tri-ace) that did Valkyrie Profile, which this game heavily wears its inspiration on its sleeve. That isn't a bad thing as Valkyrie Profile is an amazing game Game 2 Dungeons II 9/20 Trophies C Rating 6 hours Dungeons II is a hybrid Real-Time Strategy and Town building sim. You play as the Ultimate Evil, who was banished by the heroes after trying to take over their overworld. You start underground and build your dungeon with the help of Snots, which are your minions, Orcs, Goblins, Nagas and Trolls. Once you have a big enough army, you can start to venture out into the overworld to complete the mission. I finished 6 scenarios out of 11 and the last few took me upwards to an hour to finish. The game has a narrator that is very reminiscent of the one from the PS2 Bard's Tale in that he explains what is going on and what you need to do, but comes off as an asshole while he does it. Even though the scenarios took awhile to finish, I never felt like I was in danger of failing. It's pretty easy to rebuild your army back up, and if a wave of enemies invade your dungeon, it is only 3-5, which isn't bad. I do want to finish this at some point. It seems like one I could come back and finish a scenario a day and have it completed in a week.

Popular Post CJ_Mystery
Game #2, Day 1: Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (for the Vita) I was going to make a joke about Dr. M's huge overbite, but found out that dentist appointment for partial dentures was next week so it kinda fell through. I also was going to play this on the ride to the dentist, but again, miscommunications abounded and I didn't have to go. Anyways, back to this. What I plan on doing is clearing a chapter or two and then after I clear each chapter, I will be spending my time clearing all of the Master Thief Challenges for each chapter. This way I can get rid of those annoying Master Thief challenges faster. I got to Day 2 on Chapter 1 and the gondola chase was as bad as I remembered, though I ended up failing the mission where you follow Octavia about and take pictures of him because he kept spotting me. One hilarious glitch was he triggered his text just as he was jumping to a valve and this caused him to glitch and fall into the canal so he was talking while standing at the bottom of the Venetian canal. For anyone who is playing this game, I highly recommend this Let's Play. The commentary is very funny. Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
Game #2: Mighty No. 9 First dayTotal playtime: about one hour and forty-five minutes All the negative reviews made me a bit wary, but the game is not so bad. Sure, it's flawed, but it's not horrible, or even bad. I played under two hours, in that time I did the first stage as well as three of the eight main stages. I'm enjoying it so far, though I occasionally get frustrated and it's because of flawed level design. This is, of course, the bad kind of frustration and I can see why so few people have managed to get through the game even before it went on PS+. So that's the bad, now the good. The levels look crisp and definitely all have their own identity. Boss fights are challenging and diversive. Basically, if you enjoy Mega Man type games (sidescrolling action with platforming and boss fights) then there's little reason to skip this if you have PS+. If you don't have PS+, I'd skip this game unless you're a huge fan of the genre (but if you are, odds are you've bought this game already).
Popular Post PerryToxteth
Game No. 1 Final Review Watch Dogs 2 Trophies Earned: 7/56 E ranking Time Played: 5 hours Well, so much for sequels. I am TRYING to like this, due to the spectacular initial release in this "franchise," but it is hard to buy into this one. It's similar to the first one, but then it is very different. Maybe it's because Aiden, the character in the original is Gen X (quiet, calculated manner) compared to Marcus, the new protagonist who is solidly millennial. He's actually not that irritating, it's the company he keeps. Every time I have to go to HQ for a new mission, I cringe. I really, REALLY want to punch Wrench squarely in the nuts. WTF??? The mission's so far have been alright. I've enjoyed the references to current events. In the first mission, you get to fuck up a character based on Martin Shkreli (hands down, the world's biggest douchebag). In the second mission, I am essentially trying to extricate Tom Cruise out of Scientology. The problem is the missions aren't as stealthfully crafted as the first WD. I have tried to go to stealth, but halfway through have just said "fuck it" and started meleeing everyone. There is no health bar so you get shot and the controller vibrates, but that's about it. I have taken tons of bullets with little effect. Once, as an experiment, I stood there and absorbed bullets to see if I could actually die. Yep, you can, but it takes a full magazine to knock you off. The map is fantastic. I've been to San Fran a few times and it is very recognizable. It almost looks like they just pixelated Google maps. There's no repetition of buildings, landscaping, etc. But it is hard to get around. The driving mechanics are atrocious, which perplexes me. Ubi was quoted as saying the driving was awful in the first one and they'd fix it with WD2. Honestly, I think they made it much worse. Of course, I just got done driving around to plat Need for Speed so maybe my expectations are a bit high. To conclude, this one so far is a disappointment. If it wasn't for my friend wanting to co-op some missions for trophies, I'd stop playing this one immediately and it would sit in my backlog for a LONG time. I'll keep playing it during this KYC event, maybe it'll get better. Final Ranking: KYC6 Statistics Pre-KYC numbers are in (). Games Completed - Played 93/68. ( 92/68) Trophies Earned - 3215 (3207) Unearned - 507 (459) Completion % - 85.14. Popular Post Edward_FOX_86
Game #2 Some thoughts on the Game... Rise of the Tomb Raider. I’m doing this on my iPhone so it might not be as good as my previous posts. I’m just waiting and killing some time before getting to work. Now I’ve played this for a couple of hours yesterday after midnight and before going to sleep. I was tired and I think I play better just after dinner or at the afternoons but even so here are some thoughts of the game. For me this is an improvement of the previous 2013 TR. The gameplay seems very similar and I think Square Enix perfected the rpg elements such as crafting. Leveling up and finding collectibles. I will write a better review of this on the 12th but so far I’m really enjoying this game. To me and for now yeah it seems like a better version of the previous game. One thing though and it’s a detail, I really like the sound of the pistol when Lara shoots , the sound effects are very enjoyable. Still I have to try the other modes and also a quick note, I’m going for a survivor run. It’s the second hardest difficulty, I think extreme survivor is the hardest. Anyway I need to play more to form an opinion.

Popular Post Jaguargenie
Just lost my whole post as I'm doing this on my phone.... ? Game 1 Play time: 7ish hours Trophies: 26/51 for a C rank and 40% I suck at shooters. I have accepted this. But I still like a shooter w a good story behind it. This game isn't kicking my butt like I expected. I mean it's easy difficulty is called Baby for a reason right? For those who are uninitiated, this is the latest reboot of the series that started the genre. The game starts with a tutorial set at the height of World War 2. Your character, William Blaskowicz, is part of a strike force whose mission is to assassinate the Nazi head of technology. This tutorial is comprehensive and WAY too long. It over stays it's welcome by quite a bit. Fast forward to Chapter 1 and the real game begins... Spoiler It is 20 years later and you wake up from a coma. The Nazis not only won the war, but took over the entire world! You are from then on fighting from a position of weakness and trying to overthrow a totalitarian world government. I don't want to give away too much if the plot but the characters are kinda shallow. The driving force is the no one likes Nazis. That's the only reason you need to root for the characters. The level design is pretty standard for a FPS. Linear levels that are pretty easy to navigate. There is a decent amount of variation between levels so it mixes things up a good bit. What doesn't have much variety is the enemies. There are only a handful that you see: grunts, armored grunts, commanders, dogs, drones and mechs. Granted, I'm about halfway through the campaign, but still not much variety. It's a good thing that they are a LOT of fun to kill. Good segway into the mechanics. The shooting is really on point and responsive. The enemies are responsive too which is huge. They show reactions when the are hit, not just act as bullet sponges. Throwing a grenade? They drop it. Shoot them in the knee? They drop to the ground and crawl. Pop out of cover and take a bullet in the arm? Duck back in cover. They are very responsive when in a fire fight. While in stealth? It's another story entirely. There are big chunks of the game that can be played in stealth (and should or else the sections would be hard as nails!) If a nazi sees you and goes "huh?" All you have to do is duck back in cover. No investigation or anything. So that's a bit of a let down. The last point I want to mention is one of my biggests problems. In between missions, you return to your base of operations. I've been back 3 times now. Each time, you go on a fetch quest to find something missing within your base. Ugh. I could do without that. All in all, I'm having a great time! Final score: A Likelihood I will plat: 8/10. You have to beat it on Uber (super hard) and it can be on NG+ to carry over perks, so if it doesn't beat me too bad, then yes. My hope is that I just haven't unlocked enough "tools" on the skills tree yet to make the gameplay more fun. Maybe I'll have an update at the end of the month.
