Strategy

So is there actually any decent strategy tips for this? Got it with the free PS plus games this month and managed to get through about 6 levels at 3 stars but purely by luck!

There is no strategy in my opinion. This is 90% luck and 10% skill.

I've found that if you get the bombs that you can detonate yourself early, it makes the level a hell of a lot easier. Without them it is solid!

Exactly, if you get those detonate bomb at the beginning it is fairly easy to complete a level with 3 stars. Unfortunately the spawn rate quick and close to you is really low which is why I think this game is 90% luck based. 

 

The 10% skill is for the boss levels.

Currently on the third boss. Don't think I'll be getting any further for a while
