Guest
May I ask what exactly are you trying to buy with points? But to answer your question, no I actually never had that issue these last few months.
Froopy the Temmie
Try a different browser. Sometimes you have to fight with it to get it to work.
MMDE
At some point I just wasn't able to ever do any more transactions in the web browser. I need to use a console to buy stuff now, if it isn't free that is. This is a common problem it seems, and once it starts happening, it never goes away either. Masamune
I know once I tried to use a combination of points/money to buy a PSN card before, but I never did get it to work... ?
Not_like_therest
I had filed a ticket with them about same issue. They replied with me needing to call support, support processed my purchase just now. @MMDE Well thats annoying, I'll have to try ps4 browser next time. If that doesn't work they'll fix it if enough people have to place their purchases through support....maybe.

Deathtotyrants76
Can you try using the Sony Rewards app? I have used points from the app on my cell phone to buy a $10 psn code before.

HailHale81
They cracked down on vpns. You can earn points still but you won't be able to finalize any purchase
