Master Cup

I seem to run into a brick wall with this one. I get to round 3 (Taomon) pretty well but then die before I can do anything. And I know it only gets harder from then on. I have some maxed 200 abi / level 99 pierce Megas and started using heal-all items instead of skills, but I wonder whether there are some special digimon (except Sistermon since I don't own the dlc) to make it a bit more doable.

 

If you have some advice or tips for me, don't hold back

While I have not got that far in the Colosseum yet have you tried using Lucemon SM?  His ability reduces damage from magic attacks and converts it to HP and he is also a Virus.  Or Lilithmon (also a Virus) for her special attack?  Then there's Mastemon for her special attack... but she will probably get decimated by Taomon since she is a Vaccine, I believe.  I'm unsure as to who you have in your party.

Then there's always UlforceVeedramon (Vaccine) since it always moves first in battle.  You could try to buff your party before he, more than likely, dies in battle.

Training your Digimon on the farm may help if you haven't done that already.

I did it easy enough with a team of max level 99 200 ABI people 

 

Also sistermon is the best to use. why dont you have the dlc? get it off the bandai corner club

Slayerdramon, WarGreymon Blk and Sistermon Blanc (Awaken) were my lifesavers during that hell of a cup. I can only recommend them.
