When are they gonna be done with DLC?

I got the platinum for this game near launch and I see that they keep releasing DLC, so I planned to play it again when they are finally done releasing stuff for it.... but they just keep going lol.  Anyone know when they will be done for good?

Well, see you next year (or in 2020):

Final Fantasy XV has four new Episode DLCs planned into 2019

Tbh, I wouldn't be surprised if there'll be a "Complete Edition" in the end.

And its things like this is why I'm not in a rush to get games sometimes. To be totally honest, it comes out cheaper if you get the Complete, Ultimate, GOTY versions of games instead of buying DLC piece by piece.

They've got to keep whoring out the game so I wouldn't expect anytime soon.

Shame the way FF has gone. All they need now is micro transactions and they may aswell be made by EA

You mean the $1 costumes they sell for the game?

Posted (edited)

Haven't even got any DLC but I put the disk in to have a replay and there is a 40gb update file wtf that's 100gb so 1/5 on the console for ONE GAME.

WHY?

The Witcher 3 goty and DAI goty were both like 50 for comparison sake.

You're saying you don't prefer this method of release over a trilogy with 3 separate Plats? Seriously, they should have just stuck with the FFXIII format..

I think they'd prefer the game to be complete in the first place

Yeah pretty much this :)

I mean JRPGs used to safe from this. The worst you would get was costumes or weapons. Seriously people should just wait for the GOTY to come out as you can usually pick up everything for like 40$

I have not even started the game, deleted it(waiting for all the content, 500 GB HD, have to be selective). Getting annoyed, that I have to spend money on top of a Season Pass.

If they just made a sequel, or another trilogy, of XV games, would it have really seemed so incomplete? I haven't actually played it, so don't really know.

I was planning on playing this game only when all DLCs would be released but it looks like this isn't happening any time soon... wish i knew the answer myself. I read that the game + all current DLCs are over 100 GB, that would mean they can't put all of that in a disc. If there was a "complete edition", it would have to be the game plus a code, kinda like how it was done to Arkham Knight.
