Popular Post Undead Wolf
In an interview with Digital Foundry, Bluepoint (the studio responsible for the excellent remake of Shadow of the Colossus for the PS4) revealed the next game they are working on will be another remake. When asked if their next project would be an original game considering their expanded art team due to SotC, this is what Bluepoint's president and co-owner had to say: Quote Well, we could but we're doing another remake. This project served us as a great point of growing the art team to the point where we can take on a full triple-A game major scope of art content. So now our next step is, let's improve the art pipeline, let's improve the engine, let's improve workflow for artists, let's grow on the art side some more to handle our next project because it's a bit bigger. And our next focus is, all right, let's work on design and add new stuff to get to the next remake, because now that can be our sole focus of making sure that's where we put the time and everybody else, they're already at a level where we can perform. You can find the full interview here. I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch! Bluepoint are often called "masters of the remaster", and it's easy to see why considering their work on the the God of War Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and Gravity Rush Remastered just to name a few. It seems like they've grown as a studio to the point where they are now capable of tackling full-blown remakes, and I couldn't be happier! So what do you guys think about this? What do you hope Bluepoint's next remake is?

Super-Fly Spider-Guy
As long as we're just spitballing, Spider-Man 2. Realistically, I wouldn't be shocked to see them tackle Ico though.

itachi-destroyer
I have no idea about which game(s) they are remaking but I already know it's going to be a good remake so I'm looking forward to it. If I had to choose a Sony franchise I could see them remaking Infamous 1 & 2 or Uncharted : Golden Abyss. What I personnaly would like to see them remaking would be a MGS HD Collection n°2 with MGS 1 HD, MGS 4 HD and MGR Revengeance HD

Flop
I like SotC a whole bunch, but I'd love to see them do Ico, I adore that game, Ico was the first game I had platinum'ed as well. Ico is way more linear and shorter, but I'd still love to see an Ico remake. But I guess I'd want to see Bluepoint do another expansive remake like SotC. mecharobot
I have no idea what kind of IPs they can remake, but if I can just hope for anything, then Panzer Dragoon, maybe a set of 1-2, and Orta.

boringname123
Excellent! They are without a doubt the best in the industry at what they do, of all of the companies out there developing games there are few I have more faith in than Bluepoint. Undead Wolf
I see a lot of people mentioning Metal Gear Solid. As much as I love the MGS series, there's already a remake of the original Metal Gear Solid, so it would kind of be a waste to do that when there's so many other great games out there. Besides, the way Konami are now, I doubt they would ever agree to something like that. Since they said their next remake is bigger in scope than Shadow of the Colossus, I doubt it would be ICO, even though that would be cool. Demon's Souls has been mentioned a few times, and while I think it's unlikely, it's in the realm of possibility. Bluepoint have a very close relationship with Sony after all and they're the ones who own the IP. Personally, I'd love to see a remake of The Getaway, and I don't think it's a particularly outlandish suggestion - I could see it happen.
