R.I.P. Stephen Hawking

The man with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis; who remained a prominent figure in the world of science despite his disability, has passed away aged 76.

A career that spanned several decades, covering black holes, relativity and many theoretical topics Hawking specialised in. Stephen Hawking was a personal figure that I and many of my friends admired. Fortunately, he left a legacy in the form of his work, that will continue to help us in our collective goal to expand our knowledge of the universe. A true legend.

Man that's awful news.

Considering though they predicted he wouldn't live into his 20-30s, I think he's had a good long life despite all the body ailment problems that he was dealt. He will certainly be missed.

Oh shit, that sucks dude.

Can't believe I found out via PSNProfiles though.

My Mum text me the news found out after work.

I figure he's old, old people die. I am upset because his genius is gone from the world genius that was still contributing up until his death.
