SuperSmash5U Posted May 30, 2019 Share Posted May 30, 2019 Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to destroy my Vita for good - it is busted beyond repair in the charging socket; when I tried to charge it, the charging stopped. It's not the charger cable, My phone(which uses the same socket) charges just fine, but when I try to charge my Vita it either fails to charge or gives the charging light, my screen flashes, and the charging light dies. And when I try to charge it when it's on, it doesn't give the charging battery symbol which means it is NOT charging despite being plugged in! So it looks like my Vita is broken and, since they aren't making Vita's anymore, any Vita I do get will also be busted. If someone can tell me where to go to fix my Vita,I would be grateful. Hi There are several repair videos on YouTube if you wish to do it the "cheap" way to salvage your PS Vita and if you feel confident enough to do that. The alternative is to purchase a brand new PS Vita which Play-Asia still sells them for however they are about £200 plus shipping and taxes probably another £30 on top of that. https://www.play-asia.com/ps-vita-playstation-vita-new-slim-model-pch-2000-black/13/70725r Or if you want to save some extra money and get it used then i would suggest looking at eBay as these days they are the best bet to get ahold of one and sometimes they come with the bonus of memory cards and games included. I started the game as a part of KYC 9 where I’ve posted my initial & final impressions of the game, so I won’t repeat them here. But I will say I would recommend this VN to anyone wanting a starting point into the genre. I’m back to playing Trails of Cold Steel, so it may be awhile before I cross another game off the list. Nearly done with my first playthrough (I think) at around 78hrs.
