Aside from the goals in its first 2 matches, France did not do that much to win them, a draw in both games would have been fairer. I don't think they will perform better in round of 16 or in quater-finals if they do manage to get through which would be a lot easier if the miracle happens and Argentina gets the second spot in its group.
