So close, only 9,114 shampurus to go!  I'm over 300 hours now, I had a feeling I wasn't going to be able to finish under that time.  I should be done with playthroughs now too, so thankfully I don't have to worry about that now.

 

All I have left to work on is... CPU Big Sis, & Paw Pad (can both be gotten from Boss! Boss!! Boss!!!), & tier 15's Golden Drill, Energetic, & Go-to Cannon (which I'll do Mugen field runs for). For now I'll work on the 15s (until I hit 100% charm), then I'll finish it off with the special ones! 

 

Hopefully this shall be my final update.

You might be able to cheese out the remaining shampurus you need with just the 2 specials. If not get really close.

It actually wouldn't require that much more work to do so. ? I might get pretty close to it too, because I'm not 100% sure which category I have to farm right now to max my charm Lv. ?

 

I'm assuming I need more Specials since it's both Terse & Ditz (that's what leveled them up last time at least), but it could also be because I'm short on Support (for Ditz) & Ranged (for Terse) too?

At last... it's finally over!  But don't worry... I still have a little sanity left... I think.  Thankfully I managed to guess the right shampuru type I needed for that final 1%. As you can see, I'm only missing 4239 shampurus from having maxed every single one... but I think I'll be stopping here.  ?

 

It did take about a week longer than expected (3 months, 1 week, 1 day), but I think I did fairly well with my playtime. I know I wasted some time trying to boost my character's strength to beat Overwhelming Apocalypse, but that crap isn't worth the effort, I highly recommend you ignore that stage & stick to getting your tier 15s either from NG+, or Mugen Field runs (Mugen Field is quicker imo). I do believe it could be done in under 300 hours, you would just need to have everything well planned out beforehand.  

 

After everything was done, I'd really only rate the difficulty for this plat as a 7/10 max. It's not hard by any means, it's just a very long, grindy, mind numbing journey. ? A few good things have come from this though, the first is that I no longer have this dark shadow hanging over my backlog (nobody mention SO4 ?). & the second is that I got to watch a crap ton of anime while working on this (I had to have went through close to 50 different series/seasons), it really helped pass the time.  

 

I would like to thank our sadistic lizard for hosting this event as well, without it I probably would've put this off for who knows how long.

Whatever remains of your sanity can be forcefully removed by taking a journey across the 4th ocean of stars . As soon as my laptop's fixed you'll get your MS and bonus trophies, so let me know which ones you want. I imagine you'd choose the second bonus trophy this time.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe I specifically asked for that game not to be mentioned. 

 

Your PC still isn't fixed? Is it being shipped to you via donkey or something? ? But whenever you can get to it, I think I'll go with the Belleria one this time (& yes, the 2nd one for the bonus trophy).

I just maxed out all the shampurus under the special column. No more 7 world redux for me X_X (Yes I know some under Tier 8 and Tier 11 can still be earned but those aren't guaranteed from the fight) [looking at things again it looks like I can grind a few in tier 9]

 

Now for Mugen Field grinding. Bigguns (Currently at 974) is such a pain X_X but at least that's my last Tier 7 Shampuru.

 

Tier 8 is almost done with just Rear Admiral (8662), Work Drill (7864), and Spatula (3866) to grind out which shouldn't take long.

Tier 9 is going to need a lot of work with Vice Admiral (250), Spark (8314), Cubic (7508), Debtor (4225), Evil Angel (2610), and Pirate (1660)

Tier 10 just needs Sumo (4602)

Tier 11 needs some work with Fleet Admiral (11), Dynamite (1027), Flaming (8538), and Veteran (4210)

Tier 12 needs Bureaucrat (189), Agent (5541), Hot Blooded (1612), and Pilot (8263)

Tier 15 needs Golden Drill (9335), Energetic (7185), and Go-to Cannon (9035)

 

Just 5 left to grind  Some of them are almost done as well

I'm getting closer and closer. The end is almost near for me. I'm having REALLY bad spawn RNG for the enemies then really bad moe kill RNG for them as well. I'm glad I saved this part for the end. No I'm not ashamed for my time, most of that was due to my 25 playthroughs and falling asleep or getting a bite to eat. If I was playing it without those last two factors it would probably be closer to the high 500s/low 600s range. Hopefully I just need around 68K to plat

Farming Mugen Field enemies? Some of their appearance rates really do suck. ? Are you farming the ones mentioned in the farming guide? Because there are more enemies that drop certain shampurus (with a better appearance rate), if you find the one you're doing is too rare, try checking the monster list to see if anyone else drops them.

 

Also, whenever you do anymore "M" rank runs, make sure to peon the bosses from 60F & up. If I'm not mistaken, you'll need around 1500 more Energetics (80F?) to max your charm levels (& that's only if you max the tier 9/10/11s Support ones too). When you say the bosses you mean the random appearing  bosses or the x0th floor boss?

The main ones on the x0th floors, the random bosses are only good for farming the Special types, & you've already maxed those out.

Okay thanks for the tip. I guess I know what I'm doing my next nights off. If needed I'll also do a few tests to see if they're the same through eventful/normal/tough or different. Because 60F and up gets just 5 of the 6 tier 15s.

No, they're the same. You can farm all but the "Overwhelming" shampuru from doing M rank runs, & you already have that one maxed too (otherwise that one can be gotten from one of the 7 World battles if I recall). I forgot exactly which ones appear where, so this is a guess... but I think they were something like this:

• 60F: Golden Drill
• 70F: Black Box
• 80F: Energetic
• 90F: Go-to Cannon
• 100F: High Laser

So you really only have to do multiple runs up to the 90th floor if you want (since High Laser is usually the first tier 15 people max out). You get 125 from peoning them, & I'd definitely recommend using an Out Bell & saving before each one (since you'll have to peon the large crystal to do so).

This looks like a good thread to reference for the information of really post-game stuff when I decide to download these games onto my PS3. They're both $9.99 in the PSN store, which is cool because I know I am never going to find them used at Gamestop.

 

I hope I don't get trolled for asking this, because I know I am not allowed to participate in this event, but what do the classes do in these games? I know there is a trophy for mastering all of the classes but I never really used them when I played a physical copy of Mugen Souls Z. I just used the story characters. What do those classes do?

If you mean the Job Master trophy then you don’t have to master anything. You unlock them by buying them in the Mugen Field Rest Stops and once you have bought all of them the trophy will pop. But realistically are you actually going to play these games and go for the plat?
