I have bought Monster Hunter World on another account, might got for the trophy hunt there. It had a lot of hype and livesteams months ago and I saw a few and really enjoyed them. If I can count on some support, I could probably enjoy myself even if I never get the platinum. ^_^

After spending more than 750 on MHW (yes, continued playing for more than 350 hours after the plat & still return for new content), I won't make any promises. My time with MHW will come to an end sooner or later (unless Capcom gives us a decent update), but message me and we'll see if I feel like helping.

It was on my wishlist, but I'm still having so much fun with Toukiden, especially when the materials and mitama don't drop <_< . Just need 11 more Eye of Truth Masks and some of those fire turtle materials to obtain them all and still missing 74 mitama. Got a full Ancient Ugaya set at +9 though, so that's something.

Looks... fluffy. Might just have to pay a visit to caress your tail :awesome: No need to worry, I'm not after your treasure, already have quite a bit of wealth myself. Don't try adding mine to your collection, wouldn't be the first dragon who tried that, failed, and was never seen again. No need to worry, I wouldn't kill dragons.

And I remember exactly how fun the grind in Toukiden was. Good luck, don't go hollow. Don't want to deal with a hollowed dragon.

That move has killed Dragons and Evil Gods before. So you might not survive that move.

If it does, then I have a follow up!!

There's one misconception. You don't want to kill dragons. A real badass fights alongside them or even rides them into battle if their pride allows them to carry you on their back. Dragons are proud rulers of the sky (or some other area depending on the type of dragon), they just might want to kill you for trying to do it. Succeeding is well worth it, that's for sure.

It's time for the next update.

Finally made it past the 50% mark. The grind for the tier 14's won't take that much longer, hope I don't have to go back to Boss Returns afterwards. It's still really random and doesn't work out as frequently as it should. Also fixed some typos, messed up the Shampuru count for at least one of them. Boss Returns should be over tomorrow if things go well.

Just a minor update this time: Got another 35k Shampurus. There are two Shampurus unique to Boss Returns left. I'm thinking of restarting if I don't get anything new in the first/second battle, meaning I'd quit if the required enemy doesn't show up in the second battle. The third battle can have one Shampuru I need, but it's not unique to Boss Returns, I can get it just fine in an easier battle. This would save me the time to peon the second battle and look at the third (would definitely quit if all battles don't give anything, don't care about the money). The Shampurus are Director (first round - Predator enemy) and Capsule Toy (second round - Revenant enemy). Correct me if I'm wrong and these are not unique to Boss Returns, I'd love to say goodbye to this set of battles earlier.

Is there a way to escape from 7 World Redux battles?

While the shampurus are not unique to boss return, they are harder to find in the Mugen field from rare bosses in miniscule numbers compared to boss return.

Alright, thanks, will do Boss Returns, then.

Here's my current to do list for Shampurus:

- Playthroughs to get Dust Bunny and Sham-Meow to 9999.

Feel free to point out anything that can be improved to save time.

edit: A piece of advice for Boss Returns to all those who do it as well: If you are in the second or third battle, are close to frenzying the crystal (say, both the peon meter and the frenzy meter are at about 90%) and you got many Shampurus earlier that you don't want to lose. Do not attempt to peon the crystal if you're not 100% sure it'll work (only attempts with Ego are pretty much 100% successful). Instead wait for the enemies to raise the peon points to 100, use peon ball, then use it again once the peon points are at 100 or above. Do not wait for the enemy to raise them beyond 100, they can use their finishing move with the peon points, it still might kill if you're unlucky. Kililng them non-frenzied is rather easy and not overly dangerous while killing them in a frenzied state is a DPS race unless you spent way more time upgrading your stats than I did (only got three armors to 999). If they use their ultimate move, it's over 99% of the time. So, don't risk it just because you could get a few more Shampurus. You could also lose all the ones you got earlier.

Additionally, know the Shampurus you need and the enemy that drops them. The paragraph above is even more important when the enemies don't have anything you need. The risk is just not worth it.

Sure, you can do that. Besides, no one has ever managed to reach the treasure room. Interesting, you have treasures too. What kind of treasures are we talking about? :ninja:

Yeah, a lot of fun. Down to 10 masks, but I've defeated Amaranthine King 26 times now while breaking every part without obtaining the mask. This is just ridiculous. Lol, don't worry I'm not planning to go hollow after seeing the effects of that. Valkyria Chronicles is sustaining me with its trophies :giggle: .

Dragon mount, eh? I'm sure we can work something out... assuming you can pay my fee :awesome: .

Or we could just bring in someone that can control Animals like Kasen Ibaraki (at least She is the only one I know that control Animals that is kind to Humans)

Oh, well, some secrets certain beings would be dying to learn. It's mostly knowledge over gold and other tangible treasures. So there's no point in raiding our treasury unless you're interested in intangible treasures. You're welcome to try...if you can handle the consequences. Assuming you can even find me, that is. I'm currently living in a spaceship.

(I know, the spaceship part sounds a lot like Mugen Souls, but my OC and most of the stories he's in existed before I played Mugen Souls the first time)

Everyone living there makes it a habit of staying off the radar. All of them don't want to get involved in major events any longer. That's why I'm having a hard time making up my mind on what to tell you for my introduction. I want it to be about my OC, but he wouldn't care about becoming Undisputed God (had an influencial position offered to him once and turned it down) and he'd feel indifferent about Chou-Chou as long as she doesn't bother him/the others in the spaceship.

See what you can get while grinding for the equipment trophies, most of it should come naturally. And make sure to keep track of the weapons you got, the game is not that great at keeping track of what you created. It marks the weapons you have, but you can't see all upgrade paths all the time. That's when you need to know what you created to avoid duplicates. Need a link to Toukiden weapon trees?

Then imagine a worse grind and not playing another game at the same time. That's Mugen Souls in a nutshell for me right now. If I turn hollow, I'm relying on you to do what needs to be done.

Nah, I have my own dragon allies, they'll let me do it whenever I want and I can fly myself (humanoid OC here). It's alright.

Small update:

- Tier 3 Colorful - [Argon (x6) Rank F, Normal, floors 31-39]

This is what I do right now, still need 5110 Colorfuls.

Also only need about 600 Capsule Toys from Boss Returns, it's almost over, the remaining tier 13's can be found in Ultimate God Arena. Should be better to farm that, UGA doesn't give tier 14's.

Ah ok, does any of that knowledge contain recipes for delicious meals or deserts? If so, we should totally exchange recipes. Hmm, space :hmm: ... dragons don't like outer space, so I'll pass.

Is your PSNP avatar one of those beings that live on a spaceship and guard knowledge?

I hope so, already defeated Amaranthine King 32 times in the meantime... still no Eye of Truth Mask :spank: . Thanks, but I'm almost done with the weapon trophy. Working on maxing out the last weapon that needs to be fortified to +9. After that, I'll focus on mitama and materials to earn money. Once I have enough, I'll forge the 3 weapons a second time with mitama to pop the trophy, then reload to use the money to craft armour and upgrade mitama for the trophies that requires 100 different armour, 100 combination boosts, and 300 boosts. I'm at 900,000+ out of 1,440,000 money so far, so getting there.

Sure thing, if you turn hollow I'll perform a mercy kill and use your soul to craft a new, unique weapon that can subdue Toukiden's RNG :awesome: .

Oh well, it was worth a try.

So I just landed in sapphire world and got into the 1st boss fight and I sent the boss flying in the air at max power for lulz to hit a lot of boxes in the air and I got a ridiculous glitch combo.

IMG_20180911_092042.jpg?width=400&height=300

One less trophy to worry about for me!

Although, it looks like the boxes in the sky counts as enemies? Yeah after doing a few more fights it does look like boxes in the sky counts as enemies for the multi-kill status

Everyone on the spaceship was once able to cook many dishes of the planets we visited, but that was before we changed our physical forms to beings that can eat and drink, but don't need to to live. We can hand over the recipes we have left and also take a look at yours.

If you want official canon of the games and the light novels she's from, then the answer is no. If you say that it is alright to come up with your own canon since there are three endings to the game that can all be canon and that the series more or less ends after the games and some light novels and also doesn't specify what happens to all the characters (i. e. no one knows what happens afterwards) and that the series has the tech to make it work, then the answer is yes.

Yeah, that can happen in Toukiden. At least the game doesn't kill you for no good reason like Mugen Souls does from time to time. Do note you have to equip the Mitama for the boosts to count, so do that at level 3, 6, 9, and 10 to get all boosts a Mitama has to offer. The armor trophy came relatively early for me, farmed every armor the game has to offer as soon as it was available.

Will you play Toukiden Kiwami and 2 after the first one?

Thanks, knew I could count on you :)

Boss Returns is finally over, got all Shampurus unique to this set of battles and intend to get the remaining tier 13's from Ultimate God Arena. Will work on the remaining Colorfuls in tier 3 next. Given that the Mugen Field gives 30 of them each time I moe kill the enemy, this will take 132 moe kills to get to 9999. Then there are some others that I can get on an rank F Mugen Field, so won't overwrite this one just yet and get the remaining ones as well, but will probably switch between this and any of the 7 World Redux battles instead of doing nothing but Mugen Field until rank F has nothing new to offer.

Starbucks-China-Dragon-Dumplings-2014.jp

Though most days I'm very busy, which results in fast food. That only requires:

  • 1 abandoned castle
  • 1 kidnapped princess
  • a treasure pile

Once that's done, just wait until a knight comes charging in on his horse. Afterwards, just roast them until it's medium rare or extra crispy. Peel the armour off of the knight (very important, don't forget this step) and dinner is served. :awesome:

The series is Ar Tonelico, right?

Yeah, I discovered that after some trial and error. Luckily, that was early in the game when I didn't have many mitama yet. I've bought every armour that became available in the store, got some free DLC armour, and the ones from DLC Set 6, 7, and 11. I should be around 40 pieces. I'll try to forge as many armour sets because those also have unique combination boosts. I took a look at Kiwami's trophy list and there doesn't seem to be a trophy for obtaining all enemy materials, so yeah will give it a try.

You're welcome :D .

Seems progress is going steady with Mugen Souls, the charm percentages and shampuru are increasing nicely with each update :yay: .

We're actually doing this? Alright, then give me some time to translate some of my recipes into English. Or can you speak German? Then I'll just take some pics and send them over to you.

That's one way to get food, yes :D Did you happen to encounter a certain plumber while preparing fast food?

Might have to try that as well, though it wouldn't be dragon fire on my end. Should still be able to roast them.

Yes, it's Ar tonelico. Did you play the games?

For Toukiden Kiwami, the challenging trophies are:

https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/3422-toukiden-kiwami/43-sole-slayer

Slay an ultimate class Snowflame with no companions. Well, kinda. You can send the Tenko in the area (you can do that for all of the trophies below), it will help purify oni parts and revive you. Other than that, use a good build and hope for the best. Spin to win always works, ask for my build if needed.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/3422-toukiden-kiwami/44-those-who-slay-together

Slay an oni with other players, message me when in need of coop.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/3422-toukiden-kiwami/46-faster-than-the-wind

Slay an ultimate class Windshredder in less than 5 minutes. Way easier in coop, but perfectly doable alone. I'm in if needed.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/3422-toukiden-kiwami/48-fearless

Slay an ultimate class Jollux without armor/village slayers. You can do it with other players, it's really easy, just use a god mode Mitama build (i. e. you can't be killed with one attack and will take no damage at all even if you get hit most of the time) and go nuts. As usual, I'd help.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/3422-toukiden-kiwami/49-long-live-the-king

Slay and ultimate class Cimmerian King without armor/companions. This one needs to be defeated alone. The god mode build will help as well, but you might have to be a bit more aggressive to beat this one in time.

https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/3422-toukiden-kiwami/47-seekers-of-truth

Slay an expert class oni without armor/companions/mitama. Use the rifle and stay away from the enemy. The giant turtle oni is one of the easiest enemies for this, the name's Hell's Warden or Hell's Sentinel or so.

All others come naturally or require excessive grinding and a bit of luck, but are not necessarily difficult. For Limitless Lover, make sure to talk to every ally once after each mission until their bonds are maxed out. You can also take them with you on quests.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the trophy for obtaining all Oni parts in Kiwami: https://psnprofiles.com/trophy/3422-toukiden-kiwami/30-hunter-gatherer

Would have to look that up to know for sure, don't remember it. Could also be finding each material in every area.

Yes, it's going better than expected. Well, more or less. Boss Returns was still really annoying at times, but consecutive Peon Balls to the face pretty much took care of everything if the enemies didn't want to become allies. The percentage gain will slow down from now on, the Shampurus will keep rising fast for a while longer and will slow down once I primarily need to grind for them in the Mugen Field. Still need ~440k for the plat.

Those were just some images from a quick google search that had the word "dragon" in the name  .

Nope, no plumbers allowed, especially Italian ones.

No, haven't played it. I just used google search for your avatar.

Ok, thanks for the info and for offering to help :D . The guide mentions that Hunter Gatherer is only for area materials, so that should come naturally with the Tenko.

You've surpassed half of the required shampuru amount, so now you can count down.

I never noticed that your avatar was from At tonelico?  I couldn't tell who it was until I found the full size image... I loved her song in II, I even had it as my ringtone for a while. xD

You should really try to get them if you can. I admit I was a little disappointed in Nosurge (prequel), but the others are gold... great OST, story, gameplay... damn, now I'm wanting to play them again. xD I'll be playing Cross Edge soon enough for #100 too, & that has a few characters in it from the first game if I recall? :hmm:

Alright, then I'll do the same. Will post the results today or tomorrow.

Bad news, they got one of your kin:

Spoiler

probably shouldn't tell a dragon that I googled "how to cook a dragon"

Then you should play the games someday.

Yes, Despedia is one of the greatest songs in the series.

The problem with Ar nosurge is that a large part of the story is told in Ciel nosurge, a Japan exclusive visual novel. You're missing most of the background info and pretty much everything that happened in the prequel.

Cross Edge has Lyner, Ayatane, Shurelia, Aurica, Misha, and Bourd. You can get costumes for other charactes as DLC, Mir's At2 costume is one of them. It's better than the ingame costumes, you might want that for an easier time. It's entirely possible to get the plat using only Ar tonelico characters. It makes the game a lot harder at times, they can't combo as well as other groups, but I was able to do everything with a group consisting for Lyner, Ayatane, Shurelia, and Aurica. Aurica can heal, that's why I chose her over Misha. Don't neglect the main character, you have to use him for some story battles iirc. Make sure to level up vitality (or whatever the stat that raises HP is called) first to make the most of the HP growth bonus you get by doing so. No need to max it out right away and neglect everything else, just make sure to keep it in mind if you're happy with your other stats (especially damage). Make sure you use Death Resist+ to avoid instant instant death in the later parts of the game. Other than that, be prepared to grind a lot. If you've played/completed any of the Agarest games, you know the battle system and what you have to do for the plat.

Here's what I'm currently working on in Mugen Souls:

  • 1st Lieutenant - [Angry Bug (x10) Rank F, Normal, floors 71-79]
  • Mega Strong Arena for tier 11 Shampurus

Got to 576k Shampurus today so far.

That's the only problem with that game, there's so many good characters, it's impossible to use everybody you want. xD Two that I usually have in the party is York & Etna, the others very depending on who I have unlocked (I think I used Felicia & one of the post-game characters a lot). I tend not to chose my party based on what combo skills they can use, I'll just pick whoever I like the most. :P One fairly simple skill I liked to use was one that lowered a group of enemy's stats (I want to say Meltdown?).

I've done all the Agarest games before, as well as Cross Edge (that's actually what got me into the Agarest series in the first place), some fights can get annoying but I love them. ^_^ The most annoying thing I remember in Cross Edge was all that synthesizing you had to do for the plat... so much material farming. ? I never got any of the DLC though, I might have to check it out next time. :hmm:

Another game I got because of Cross Edge was Blazing Souls: Accelate for the PSP, it would've been pretty good if it wasn't for the countless glitches that froze-up the game (even if you equip certain item, it freezes the game). That's the only game I never finished because of glitches... it's near unplayable. -_-

Is there a reliable way to trigger the Fever time combo glitch other than trying a battle with many enemies and hoping for the best? I basically just knock an enemy into one of the floating orbs and hope for the best, right?

I wouldn't try relying on that glitch, it's way too random. Out of the... probably 1000+ hours I've put into the Mugen Souls games, I've only had it happen once (in Z). ? Your time would be much better spent just setting up the proper method for 999 hits. But if you're really determined to go that route, I think I've heard people have had better results using a large boss monster for it. :hmm:

Well, I kinda wanted to try because I'm not prepared for the proper method as of now. But it didn't work and I still need many Mugen Fields, so preparing is no big deal. Will do it the proper way, then.
