I haven’t played this game yet, but these ‘Survival Trials’ remind me of Vanilla SF4.  I like fighting games that have a combination of combo trials and those survival-type trials.  Sounds interesting

Thanks for the guide, Blazhead!  ?

Thanks for the guide Blazhead.

I just beat all missions.

For mission 17: I used M.Bison against hugo all you need to do is just backwards Mk>Hk and you can take him down very quick and for other opponents I just spam Zangief power bomb.

Mission 19 : i used Rolento & Zangief

Against Akuma I used Rolento

Crouch Hk> Patriot Circle >Crouch Hk

When Rolento health 25% low  Switch to Zangief and just Spam Double Lariat .

Just picked this game up...wow.  Flying Dumpster Fire Attack.  I can tell the suits had WAY TOO MUCH input on this game...?

I appreciate the mission guide, Blazhead.  An amendment to the first mission, however; it’s ‘normal attacks only’.

I think I'm just gonna give up on Mission 19. It's the last one I need but I've tried all day and got close 4-5 times but Akuma just keeps spamming Misogi and I always die from chip damage. Why did I bother coming back to this game lol. Playing on Vita is absolute sht, I wish I can use an arcade stick so I can be more comfortable.

Tips I used what I wrote for a friend for.

It's a long time I played so this all I can help with. I still got more tips for other missions I had issues with, if any is interested.

For now Mission 19:

19. Solo is awesome, lol.
Well it wasn't that hard, rather more annoying.

Orge can be easy. I had sometimes good runs, with full health to akuma. But that is lucky, I guess.

He got this one ex move what seems to be unblockable, cuz it always hit, even me doing nothing but just blocking.
I fooled him by jumping over him, so his blazing kick will whiff and then punishing him.

Akuma well I don't know. It was weird. You cannot take your time, cuz after he lost much health his gem activates and he gets much back, that losing cuz of time is possible.

Try to jump attack him by jumping over his fireballs. But if not fast enough he will dp you.

He use this always when you try to jump. He is most vurnable after either uses his Super Arts or he teleports.

His Super where jumps into the air. Block it and but keep it, cuz it has 2 attacks.

After that you can launch him with a jump attack. His second one you have to jump over immediately you see it.

Woot I finally got it! Thank god I have the plat now. Spent two and a half days on this mission alone. Was able to do it with Yoshimitsu + Ryu. Yoshimitsu's HCB sucks in opponents and you can charge it for a super art conversion. I discovered it while playing around in Training mode. Ryu on the other hand I did a JHK + CMP x 2 + then either CMK into his HCF kick or just a straight up leg sweep using CHK. I literally defeated Akuma with like 10% health. I'm glad I'm done with this bullshit lol. Never even gonna bother with UMVC3 which is way harder and because I was an idiot, I played it on Vita (again) years ago...

cuando comience el partido, cambie a sagat de inmediato y luego haga un arte cruzado hacia abajo hacia adelante + mk mp. abajo adelante + triángulo círculo

I did this but it does not work. I can see the message "16x combo" and I win the battle, but... "FAILED"... WHY??!!

My journey to 100% this game has been really tough. It is my 1st fighting game and I didn't expect it to be so hard. Nevertheless I managed to pop all trophies except for "Mission Specialist" and so far I've done 19 of the 20 missions. The only one I'm missing is the 20th one. The characters I used the most were Zangief, Hugo and Rolento. However, I am not very proud of how I got there because I don't even know how to properly play this game. I guess this one isn't very begginer-friendly and it wasn't the best choice to start with... I basically spammed some specific attacks and studied the AI to make my life easier but that's not very rewarding.

SF IV (which is the base for this game's mechanics) is not begginer friendly at all in my opinion. Nowadays the Street Fighter become much more lenient in execution.

I remember dropping this game because I couldn't finish missions 19 and 20, couldn't even spam my way through. Also didn't make much progress in SSF4. Now I have an SFV platinum. So, do not get discouraged to try something else. SF6 is right around the corner and it can be a great time to jump in while the game is fresh and there are a lot of people starting out and learning the game.

I remember using Gief and Blanka for 19 and 20 and for majority of missions to get mission specialist done.

What strategy did you use for Blanka? I've been trying to beat Mission 19 for a while now with Zangief.

I remember using Blanka's slide quite often but you still have to know when to use his normals. A lot of moves can be unsafe if blocked. Some Blanka balls here and there helps but they too can be countered.

After strugggling for a long time to clear Mission 19, I'll share the method I ended up using, as I've never seen it anywhere.

Use Zangief and Jack-X. Against Akuma, use lariats. Do not spam them or you'll get hit by Akuma's super when he inevitably uses it.

When Akuma is low on health, use pandora with Zangief as the sacrifice. As Jack-X, spam 41236HK (I forget the name of the move) and use your super if you have enough meter.

Using Rufus' charged Super Art can make most of the survival missions pretty easy, especially the last one.

First put some distance between you and your opponent, with a strong punch if needed (R1), then Quarter circle forward + charge with any punch button (triangle, square or R1). It's very effective against a lot of characters... unless they're firing projectiles, in that case I shifted back to Ryu.

If you want to try this method against Hugo on mission 17, don't spam the Super Art each time he's hit. Delay the Super Art by 1 or 2 seconds and start charging when he's starting to stand up, this may trick the CPU most of the time to make Hugo run at you when you unleash your charged Super Art.

Maybe another quick method for mission 3:

In the main menu, check your quick combo and select one with a launcher. Then pick your first character and one with an easy Super Art to pull and with many hits, for instance Law. Then use a quick combo (R3) with your first character, and finish the combo with Law's Super Art.
