Popular Post bruin-rocks
Okami HD (PS4) - Platinum trophy in 6 Years 3 Weeks. First Trophy April 25th 2014. Rarity 14.24%. I am the “Top Dog”. I loved this game a child, I still love it now. It reminds me a lot of The Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker, it’s got tons of exploration, side quests, collectibles that aren’t actually a pain, and a fairly straightforward trophy list. This is one of my favourites of all time 10/10, I also got it as platinum 350. Now I can start on other games until my next milestone! Popular Post SasquatchSaul
I'd like to sign up, I've got over 250+ games from over 6 months ago I've been meaning to get to ? I've been playing Yakuza games for the first time this month, I finished Yakuza 0's story last week (Started in May 2018, only did a chapter or so) and have been playing Kiwami, I don't own any others so once I'm done with Kiwami's story I'll try to go back to 0 for 100%. Looks like an absolute beast so I don't know if I'll get 'er done in May. Also been playing Mass Effect: Andromeda (I started it back in May 2018 also weirdly enough), had to start a new playthrough as I wanted to start fresh and it's alright. On my second habitable planet and while the combat is smooth the rest has been a little shaky thus far. Not a fan of the remnant tech/story (Also what's with boring robot drone enemies in games this gen) and I was hoping the planets would have a more varied content, was disappointed to land on my second planet and see another 3 remnant towers around the edges just like the last one. Not sure how long it is but might get it done this month.

Just an easy visual novel with a great platinum title that is very fitting “Does This Mean I Can Go Outside Now...?”

Popular Post REAPER4536
Took me a while to get the game done but here it is: Laser League completed - First trophy 12th May 2018 - Completed in 2 years, 1 week I am a real laser lord now - lol. The platinum lies at 0.85%. It's just a grind fest and I am glad I got it over with. I am by far the last place on the leaderboard (Like +33% of the time from the second last one). I guess that was the perfect choice for a backlog game. Ohhh and an update for my Battlefield Bad Company journey. I managed to reach 8888 kills (out of 10002) and missing 4 more in-game achievements to get the other online trophy which I am missing. Maybe that's next month done . With Laser League Jan-May is completed with in each month at least one game.

Barbeqmeister
Hey, I'd like to sign up as well. I just finished Black Ops 3 a few days ago and it's probably the perfect game for this event as it was the first game I ever got a trophy on. It's from October 2018 when I got the PS4 because RDR2 wasn't coming to PC. (And then got stuck with the console and sold my PC, yeah) The PS4 was bundled with BO3 so I started that a few days before RDR2 came out and then just kinda forgot it until now.
Popular Post bruin-rocks
Far Cry 4(PS4) - Platinum achieved, 5 years 6 months to complete, first trophy November 22nd 2014. Rarity 17.51%. It was an easy game to clear up and some of the views look really nice in the game. I felt a lot of my button presses weren’t registering when I wanted them to. Time to work on the DLC to update this later. Anyways, that’s backlog #3 for this month.

Popular Post Gretchen27
@bruin-rocks Another awesome milestone! Haven't played this one myself, but it's gotta be good to come back to through the years. It may have held you up for a bit, but you still got three completions for the month. Very nice ?@WetRaindrops Only a bunch of DLC packs to get through now. If you want to of course, wouldn't blame you for skipping them.@SasquatchSaul Welcome! I got into the Yakuza series (with Kiwami) recently myself. The amount of content is incredible, it's easy to see why they're UR plats. I'm sure you'll be able to finish it, just a matter of time.@REAPER4536 Keep up that dedication, Laser Lord. Is there another series lined up next now that Battlefield is nearly done?@Barbeqmeister Welcome to you as well! I'll have you on the board in my next update sweep ? Good luck with the RDR2 grind.@Leigrez LBP 2, stunning work! Please, share some of that platforming skill so I can finish Crash Bandicoot at least ? Guess I'll also take the time to put in my completion for the month with Megadimension Neptunia VII at 1 year, 1 month. It may not be a milestone plat, though I did unlock it on May 4th. Marking my second year hosting this event, so a milestone of its own. I jumped into my first run of this series on console for KYC last year with less then great results. On the surface it's exactly what you'd find from the Vita games, then it hits you with a difficulty spike. It was weirdly thrown right at the start of the game & is largely the reason I lost interest in it after the event ended. But I finally felt like tackling the challenge & the damn thing turned out easier then I remembered. Still, I experienced two bad blips along the way. Got stuck in a death box: saved right before a boss with no way to heal or get items. Thankfully I had a cloud save, still cost 4hrs of gameplay. Shortly after that, the game crashed. I thought PP would be my least favorite neptunia game, but this one really wants that award. Also been playing some other backlog games. Like Crash Bandicoot, I'm down to gold relic time trials in one (stormy ascent included). Two, I've still got gems to collect, feels like this one has the most boxes on average per level. So I switch back & forth to try & complete at least a few levels every time I play the game. I was doing good with the no death gem runs, then started having trouble with the time trials. So I've popped it back on the shelf for now. Then (& I'll blame current events for restlessly jumping between games) I downloaded the Ratchet & Clank trilogy back on my Vita. Some of the mechanics, like races or certain skill point challenges, have been infuriatingly holding me up. & spoiler alert; they still are. Nevertheless, still got considerable progress there. It could be my June game, or it'll be Monster Hunter World. Since starting Iceborne, I've logged another 70 or so hours into the game & the gold crown grind is in sight with count them, 3 mini crowns left to obtain. One for the pikachu of the series, Nergigante; riddle me this sphinx, Teostra; & one of my favorites - the zombie dragon with regenerative armor that sadly no longer cuts it in master rank, Vaal Hazak. Honestly I can't stop checking my guild card & seeing all those crowns. It's crazy, & I'm crazy for looking forward to still having Iceborne crowns to hunt. If I can get through the main story at some point. I'm not calling this one in the bag yet because I've had the 100+ hunts for a couple monsters already. But I've got plenty of good investigations lined up for these elder dragons & the whole month to do it.
Barbeqmeister
I finished GTA IV, started on 28th Jun 2019. Not going for the plat, that just looks like a huge grind and not fun but I managed to finish the story and nab that 30 hour "speedrun" trophy. Next up is Resident Evil 7 and after that I'm back to GTA IV to finish the Episodes from Liberty City. The story was great but the driving is one of the worst I've ever seen in any game. Especially the bikes, those are extremely frustrating to handle. I just can't wait to play the biker gang expansion.

Popular Post xEl_Cidx
May 2020 Update: Goal Achieved (PS3) ICO – First Trophy: September 7, 2013 (11/16 – 62%) Goal: 100% on Game The last trophy for plat - beat the game in 2 hours is no joke - my final time was 1:59:23 ? After putting this game off for so long, went back to finish it and the trophy set is not bad just that 2 hour trophy stands in the way for platinum. Yorda with her AI randomness at times, she really cooperates or not so it takes time when she decides to listen to you or not . The only area that gave me so much headache was the graveyard as it was always 50/50 with Yorda if she did her own thing, then it was a reload as there is no room for error. I got the piston jump and water wheel jump on the first attempt in the waterfall area so that was crucial to keep the time close. The last save point is at the main gate - all the battles and the ending went with no issues.
SasquatchSaul
I ended up booting up Mass Effect 1 on PS3 instead of continuing with Andromeda, and all of a sudden I’m locked into a run of the full trilogy. Have done 3 completionist playthroughs of 1 in around 35~ hours, just have some combat stuff to grind out remaining. Already imported into Mass Effect 2, should be even quicker completion considering it only requires a single playthrough. Something about the trilogy is just lightning in a bottle and even playing it on a old ass machine is an awesome experience. Will definitely come back to Andromeda, just afterwards now... Still grinding Yakuza 0, completed both the cabaret and real estate and most substories and have been clearing out the climax battles. Lost alot of progress when I closed the application not realising the completed battles dont autosave
Popular Post Psy-Tychist
After redoing the entire game on fastforward after losing the save, I finally have completed Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness. I did bulk of it on my Vita when on lunch at work, but the save didn't transfer to the cloud. Thus began the work of doing it all over again and getting the minigame points needed. Popular Post Ich1994-1994
OK its the last day of the month so i guess i am not going to be able to add another game so its time for my update After entering with 2 games this month already i manage to get 3 more done deBlob 2 (Ps3) after 9 Years and 3 months The Darkness 2 after 8 years and 3 weeks I,Zombie after 2 Years and 11Months Some words to the games DeBlob2 I Played he first part on WII when it came out and i really liked it back then. its kind of a unique game were you play as a blob that can take diffferent colors and everything you touch becomes your color. with this ability you fight against general ink whos goal it is to bleech the whole world. The trophies are a little annoying due to a lot of stuff to collect and some of it beeing missable but nothing is hidden really i was easiely able to get all the missable things just by collecting what i saw. also the time you need to beat in the levels where easy as heck and the points are basically guarateened when you do everything you can in the level. also there is pretty good guides online. i got annoyed from time to time but ovrall it was a fun game that i might do one more time on ps4 the darkness 2 there is a few collectibles that stopped me from getting the plat the first time i played it (it is colllectibles that stop me almost every time i stop a game^^). but they were not to bad. its just a few per level so no big of a deal. it was also the first time i usd a third party controller (doubeshock 3) due to me beeing at my girlfriends place for a while and oh good it was a hell with this controller. no clue how anyone can play with it but the shooting range minigames that should be prety easy got me really frustrated. anyway back to an original ps3 controller that my fathe luckily was able to bring me on his way to work it was much more doable and quiet some fun. good game and kinda nice story i, zombie what should i say. dificulty is around 2/10 and it takes not more than 2 hours to complete but i just kinda didnt like it. anyway i managed to motivate myself throught it and it was ok. wouldnt recommend it but when its on sale and you look for a kinda quick game to 100% thats still not specifically made to be 100% quick go for it. all in all that means 5 games less in my backlog for this month currently i am working on lollipop chainsaw and hope to get it done withing the next few days Agenda for the next games would be Pure (just need that stunt trophies dones) F1 2013 (did the multiplayer already just ever finished the carrier and time trials) puppeteer (just never really got the time) saints row the third (ps3 version) dark void (got stopped by the collctibles) Dragons dogma (love this games and got ps4 plat already) and some stuff that i decide on today when picking them up from my parents place^^

I wanna expand my game choices. Here and there they always pop up on people's profiles so yea maybe i should take a look into it. About Battlefield games. BFBC will be finished tomorrow. I know it's a cheap way to get a backlog game done in a month but there is no rule which says go for every game ASAP After the Crysis and now the Battlefield franchise I am thinking about the Far Cry franchise. 3 and 4 are already done and 2 is will be my next grind target. I could also go for BioShock or Uncharted so I am really unsure. Well.... Battlefront is becoming PS Plus soon so I defiantly go for that one but other than the mentioned franchises I stick most likely to BFV, World of Tanks, War Thunder and backlog games.
Popular Post MarkusT1992
I got three games done this month. Actually one game and two DLC cleanups. The first was the newest DLC for Human Fall flat. It got released early this month or late last month and I think this game will show up for more several times more in this event as they still aren't done releasing DLC for it. With the addittion of that DLC my completion time now is at 1 year and 1 month. 100% currently is at 1.19% The second game was Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist which can be deleted from the Worked on section now. Only one trophy was left but that was for winning every duel challenge which means winning around 100 duels against good decks. Fartuantely I could use an Exodia deck with a lot of forbidden cards that made it much easier. Completed in 4 years and 9 months with a rarity of 7.21% The last game was One Piece: World Seeker where I had to still finish the three DLC. Each DLC took around 5 hours to complete including the grind for all the skillpoints you need. Completion time is at 7 months 5 days with a 100 rarity of 4.81% May 2020: Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist (First Trophy: 31.07.2015/4 years, 9 months), Human Fall Flat Thermal DLC (First Trophy: 17.03.2019/1 year, 1 month), One Piece: World Seeker DLC (First Trophy: 28.09.2019/7 months, 5 days)

There’s just something about them that makes you want to jump back in. This one was the first I didn’t play straight through to completion, they really shine better on handheld. I’d say start at the beginning with the one on the PS3 (since I don’t think you have a Vita); anything else would throw too many characters & previous in game jokes. While on the topic of games, some other series I see missing you may want to look into: Batman – only played Arkham Knight myself, but I’ll attest to the amazing combat flow & expansive open world setting. Final Fantasy – really players choice where to start here. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – a stunning RPG (broken record I know, but they’re my favorite genre). Yakuza – I don’t know what rabbit hole the developers fell into when they came up with this series. Its equal parts wacky/serious, & highly addicting. Well, guess Far Cry is as good as toast then. You’ve tackled more challenging games. Best of luck on the others as well!

Popular Post Gretchen27
So I've been thinking about overhauling the ranking system. Do away with the averaging as it's a nightmare to maintain. Something along the lines of: - earned when 12+ games have been removed for the year. - earned when at least 6 games have been removed for the year. - earned with the 1st game removed for the year. - earned for joining the event with no backlog games removed, yet. - Inactive participants. These would reset back to bronze for everyone at the start of the year, giving the chance to strive for a fresh platinum rank every year. What does everyone think? I'm open to other suggestions for it as well (just as long as it's in the easier direction ).

The only thing I would recommend for a change are the bottom three ranks. I would go... - earned with the 3rd game removed for the year. - earned with the 1st game removed for the year. - Inactive participants or those joining the event with no backlog games removed, yet. Also, maybe putting the rank that people earned the previous year under their name somehow? Ex: 2019 - 22 games removed 2018 - 7 games removed etc...
