I've kinda started playing a lot of old games cause besides the backlog challenge I am also trying to get my overal completion rate to 90% before the end of the year, and because of the PS5 launch I'm trying to hit 90% before the 19 of november.

 

I've been playing Tour de France 2014, only have a single trophy left but it's gonna take a while. Started playing black ops 3, going for the campaign grind and started working on the zombie DLC's. Also played both fifa 16 and 15. Fifa 16 will be the only fifa on my backlog without a platinum since no-one is playing FUT draft and creating 16 PSN accounts is not worth a trophy lol.

In addition to comleting Call of duty WW2 100% I will add Slender: The arrival (man I hate this game) and after several days of trying to get 4 people online at the same time FIFA 15.

It's a short but sweet adventure through hell in the Saints Row universe with some stupid trophies like "spend 20 hours in hell" you can reach 100% in 10h, so good luck doing nothing for another 10h

Been a little busy this month, did try a few old games (turns out I'm stuck on most of those, whoops) before finishing one.

 

Kung Fu Rabbit

October 2015 - October 2020 (5 years, 2 weeks)

 

Put it off for ages thinking the bonus missions and hardcore levels would be rough to get back to, but the gameplay is straightforward enough to pick back up easily. I remember having fun with the regular levels of this little 2D platformer, then getting annoyed with the spitting enemy spam and quitting. While it isn't a difficult 100%, it's mildly frustrating with the combination of slippery platforming, tight timing, and quick reflexes required for some levels; they also weren't as bad as I expected, considering levels rarely take much more than a minute - if you succeed, anyway.

You could finish it in a day or two pretty easily, and may have it in your PS3/Vita lists if you had PS+ around my start date.

Dusted off this game finally, and man, am I happy to be done with it. I typically enjoy the grind of LEGO games, and have been playing them since the original LEGO stars wars trilogy on the xbox. But the amount of map-cleaning after playing through the story twice was more than enough IMO. I may lay off the newer LEGO games for a while.

The first looter-shooter I ever played (back on the 360), and I fell in love with it immediately. Replaying it was truly a pleasure. I only needed a couple co-op trophies for the plat. Still need to 100% the DLC, but with literally hundreds of games in my backlog at the moment, I don’t think I’ll get back to this one for a while. After finishing BL3’s story this past week, the original is still my favorite.

Hey, Sorry for the slow response. 

I do it from my PC on chrome, just open your psnprofiles on a different tab and select the game starting from the date. Then just copy and paste it into the message here.

Marvel Super Heroes was the worst LEGO game I've played (even beating out Legends of Chima). Definitely don't try & stack it with the Vita version. It's glitches galore there, making the plat incredible frustrating. 

 

Also, it's kind of a running thing here to dupe weapons for each other on Borderlands games. So whenever you do get back to 1 feel free to @ me & I'd be happy to drop a fire weapon (it makes Moxxi's arena manageable). 

 

 

My game this month was another Vita title, & a dud at that with Bad Apples Wars. Completed in 7 months, 1 week. Another leftover from KYC, Bad Apple Wars is a lackluster otome VN. The story revolves a group of high school age kids, all deceased, sent to a type of holding afterlife that resembles - what else - but a school. The student body is divided between Good Apples, those following the rules & becoming soulless drones to graduate (aka return to their old life), & the Bad Apples, those clinging to their humanity by breaking every rule (& they're mostly boring ridiculous ones) to...well I've read all the routes & they never really knew what they were aiming for, but it wasn't what the majority was going for. Which is largely how reading the entire thing feels like.

 

The premise on the back of the case was interesting, it looked like a typical VN art style wise, & the music is fantastic for most tracks. Yet, the story & execution was painfully lame. It had so much potential & I almost feel bad for the people who must have worked on this, & then the more routes I read, the more convinced I was they switched out the story writers with people who write manuals (or any other tedious piece of literature everyone skims through). Nothing eventful happens. & what the VN considers impactful, I could have cared less about. There's just no stakes to worry about or characters to relate to. It's a terrible read, avoid at all costs. 

 

Other than that, I played a touch more Resonance of Fate. The grind to platinum is real, up to 65hrs now since July. I got stuck midway through the month on the last set of arena bosses. Just cleared them the other day in fact, & I've dabbled a bit in the post-game dungeon. I think I'm finally leveled enough to take that head on & clear it soon. It might get done next month (though I'm feeling like playing Spider-Man at the moment). Something will surely get done from the backlog.

Strider All 31 Trophies 4th October 2020 • Platinum in 6 years, 4 months

 

when i stated this games i only got like 1 or 2 trophies in it and then decided its way more difficult than i expected and i guess i was not in the mood for that. anyway got back into it after finishing rayman origiins ins august which made me want to play more of this metroidvania like games and it ended up to be absolutley awesome. teh start is a little bit rough but as soon as you get a little bit into the game and get more abilities is great. backtracking to collect the remaining upgrade was a bit painful ecause the games does not tell you what door leads to what area but its not too many areas and door so it was done quick anyway. also the speedrun was no problem at all. anyway really nice game

 

Anthem All 47 Trophies 7th October 2020 • Platinum in 11 months, 1 week

 

Horrible horrible horrible game. i got it very cheap tp play it with a friend in coop. we thought "how bad can a bioware game be". i am telling you it can be very bad. dont touch this game. too many bad decision to list them all here were made whie creating this loading screen simulator. also dont play it in coop. the game punishes you wereever it can for doig this

 

Metro: Last Light 51 of 71 Trophies 11th October 2020 • Platinum in 7 years, 4 months

 

i used to hate playing with guides and having to lok out for missable stuff so i only played througt the story of this and decide to not go for the plat back in the day. anyway i changed my mind 7 years later and this game is great. its also really worth it to go througt the hassle of having to collect all the moral points because they lead you to so many small things you would have missed otherwise. so many secret places that and dialogue and they are all created and written very well. i will probably also go for the dlc at one point but was not willin to pay them without a sale yet^^
i also got metro 2033 in my backlog for ps4 and will play it in november or december. will probably also play metro last light redux but thats no backloggame but a pile of shame one^^

 

Dust: An Elysian Tail All 31 Trophies 13th October 2020 • Platinum in 6 years, 2 days

 

same category as strider. started it as fast platinum in a time where i just was not in the mood for the genre. also i liked this one less because of its look but it was still enjoyable.

there is one missable throphy were you have to make a safe before a decision because there is a trophy for both version and i had one already from when i first played it but i fucked up and did the same thing again. so i had to rush to that part again. luckily its very early in the game as long as you remember correctly who gave you the quest.....i didnt...anyway i got it done^^

 

Critter Crunch All 14 Trophies 13th October 2020 • Completed in 10 years, 5 months

 

awesome little puzzle game. when i stated it my internet was horrible so i basically never did any online trophies. after looking into the guide again i found out the only mode of this takes about 5min^^ really had fun with it

 

Rage All 61 Trophies 17th October 2020 • Completed in 8 years, 9 months

 

same thing as metro. i played throught the game enjoyed it and then was not in the mood to do a run with all the missable and also glitchy collectibles. i even did the only part here because a friend of mine needed a partner so having that out of the way was a nice bonus to playing it now.
i also bought the dlc and started on the new highest difficulty (its still pretty easy just rememer to safe often) in the end i got only the hattrick trophyglitched and the solution was o just to it again and again until it pooped on the 8th or 9th attempt.
also the 5 finger fillet trophy is not as bad as everybody says. the great "trick" you are told to use is worthless but in the end it took me only like 20min
anyway you basically neverhave txtures loaded in this games but its good.

another metroidvania. but this one is not good. its a quick 100% but i just didnt like any of the bossfights mechanics and got annoyed pretty fast buy it. probably the reason why i stopped to play it the first time and the reason why i almost stopped playing it this time also. but i got it done which feels nice^^. wouldnt recommend it

i love topdown shooters. no idea why i didnt finish this. takes maybe 2-3h depnding how long it takes till you find out that you have to trigger the shoot button as fast as you can.

 

Ratchet & Clank 2 All 35 Trophies 21st October 2020 • Platinum in 8 years, 3 months

 

i love ratchet and clank. i didnt finish the plat because i didnt wona do all the skillpoints and also didnt want to collect the platinum bolts. but i still had my old safefile with all the weapons and some of the skillpoints already  great game and i am really looking foreward to cross part 3 of my backlog list. will also play the trilogy on vita but thats part of the pile of shame

 

 

i also played chime super deluxe this month but still ned to find a coop partner to finish the coop trophy. sadly its couch coop only but i am positive i will finish this some day.
also killing floor got a trophy again but i dont want to count this games everytime a new map releases. also i dont really consider it as backlog its more like an ongoing project^^ i hope they reach the trophy limit soon^^

all in all productive month. 9 games are more than expected. i hope i can finish reckoning fast. still got 110 unearned platinum trophies and countless 100% games to do^^

Yesterday i had a little couch coop session with a friend of mine and i thought hey he likes tetris so lets try to get the coop trophies of chime. and we kinda did it within 20min
Anyway thanks to a great friend i can cross another game of my list and add it to this month

i think after beeing done with the single player and a little bit of practice this trophy can be done with anyone who is able to contribute more than nothing and does not have negative impact by messing up the field. 
anyway great game. it used to be in psplus i guess and i just got a view trophies back in the day but after getting back into it "lets see what this is" quickley turned into "dammit i spend 2 days in a row doing nothing but playing this"

can only recoomend it for anyone who likes this kinda tetris like arcade games.

 

All in all thats 10 games for this month i i think i am really done now. i will play a little bit of reckoning later today but i really dont expect to finish today

So I've been playing a lot of different games this month. I've been playing tour de france 2014 (only a long grind remains), playing black ops  3 (completing zombies EE's and the campaign grind), playing tetris effect and trying to get ss everywhere. Don't really wanna post the black ops 3 DLC that I've already completed 100% cause I still need the main game and already have games completed for this month. 

However one of my greatest platinums of all times I just completed is bloodborne. My first even from software game and my god was this hard (atleast for me). sadly the platinum rating is not that rare but I will take it anyway.

Finished off my first game for November. I was trying to get it done for October but just ran out of time and figured I would make this the first game of November. While I did enjoy the driving races, some of the non driving races were rather tedious and a waste of time. I did have a bit of trouble getting gold on a few of the events. The Scotland episode gave me a touch of trouble, as did the Corvette race in the astronaut episode, and for some reason that Ford Mondeo in the last episode was a pain. In all it took about 10 hours to get the 100% and that is with skipping all of the videos, since I had already seen them. Anyway, my first game of the month is out of the way. It also brought me closer to my 2020 goal of being under 7000 unearned trophies...

 

Since a lot of others are doing it, and I like the look of it, I'll hop in and format my completion this way...

I'm glad (but not really!) someone else had a negative experience with LEGO Marvel's Super Heroes. Usually LEGO games are simple, short, linear experiences, but Super Heroes required so many hours just for clean-up post completing all levels. No Vita stacking for me. And thank you so much for the offer! ? My brother won't commit to finishing the DLC with me, so I thought it'd be a long while before earning that 100%. I'll let you know when I get back to it.

Super productive month there. Just wanna warn that Ratchet & Clank on vita has terrible controls. If you haven’t already bought the trilogy, you might want to skip it. Otherwise the hover board skill points will be a nightmare.

@Gretchen27 Sorry I haven't been very active on the forum lately, been playing a lot of titles lately that were mostly ineligible for this event.

 

Which is why I probably missed that my completion of LEGO Harry potter back in September did actually count, my apologies:

LEGO Harry Potter Collection: Years 1-4 - Platinum (100% complete), 27th March 2019 - 8th September 2020 [1 year, 5 months]

 

Not the biggest challenge to complete of course, but the sheer amount of collectibles was still pretty daunting at first, glad I got through it without issues.

At the moment I'm actually trying to complete Snake Pass, which is already on my list if I'm not mistaken. If not, feel free to add it
