It's been a long long time since posting here, but I've really enjoyed playing Elden Ring, HZFBW, Gran Turismo 7 and some other new games. However With the Bugsnax DLC and Returnal DLC being released I decided it was team to clean those up and I'm also looking to start on AC Valhalla Ragnarok DLC.

Hey guys and girls! I got another game done for this month after a recommendation from a Vtuber friend of mine and my 3rd game this month is!

 

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon

 

I put off playing this for so long because I felt like I was really bad at games like this, but after after completing Castlevania Anniversary Collection and then getting the reommendation I decided to say fuck it and went for it. Though you need to play the game at minimum 6 times to get the 100% completed I can say that if you're interested in Castlevania games then give it a try.

 

100% took me 1 year, 10 months, 2 weeks to do.

I'm so glad I spread out my three playthroughs of this, it helped keep everything fresh. Having my last playthrough be the one where everyone lived made it feel extra good when the plat popped

Watch Dogs: Legion 49 of 50 Trophies 22nd May 2022 • Platinum in 6 months, 4 weeks

 

i started this and then pretty quickly lost interest. But i got back in the mood for the gameplay and managed to finish the PLatinum for this. Overall i cannot really recommend the game. i like how the System with recruiting whoever you want works thats pretty well designed but it does not fit at all into the story. Dont really have a lot more to say about this game without putting spoilers out there so i will simply stop here

 

@Gretchen27 please us escapists for my streakchallange entry as i plan to use the remaining trophy of watchdogs next month for the streak entry. it requires a full new playthrought on the highest difficulty with permadeath and the bit that i played already seems worthy for another point of this game^^ (also this event is by now pretty much the only motivation i got to keep playing this so i will use it xD)

Finally completed a game for this month:

 

A Plague Tale: Innocence All 36 Trophies • 3/10 1x 15h 29th May 2022 • Platinum in 9 months, 2 weeks

 

I started it when I just got my PS5 and really enjoyed it, but then I was short on time because my university courses started up again and I chose to play shorter games rather than story-heavy games in the limited time I had each day. Since I wanted to finish a game this month to keep my streak going and this game is a rather short and easy one, I decided to power through and finally complete it.

I really enjoyed this game, especially that you had to be stealthy rather than just kill everybody on sight. I also quite liked the stories an characters, but one of the things I disliked was the ending. I think I would have liked it more if they kept the story more historically accurate, but overall it's a great game and I'm excited for the sequel.

 

With the start of the new league a few weeks ago I once again got into Path of Exile. I really hope that I can finish this platinum this league, because I'd like to transition to PC to keep playing, but I want to finish this version first.

I also dug up This War of Mine when I saw the new PS5 version coming out and I'm pretty hopeful that this can be my completion for next month.

Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed All 35 Trophies • 2/10 1x 50h 30th May 2022 • Platinum in 4 years, 5 months

 

Thought this would be an easy one to get done this month, and for the most part it was. Except for one dang trophy. Maxing out all the lily ranks between characters took so much longer than expected and was the sole reason I almost didn't get this one done in time. Watched two full anime seasons while grinding this out and was still no where close to being done lol.

 

But that aside, loved this game! Didn't think I was into musos until I happened to pick this back up on my vita and fell in love with it. I now have a new genre to explore. ?

I found two games this month, and really two of the kind of games that I joined this event for! These were a couple of games that I played a long time ago and just never finished. This community motivated me to get in and get it done!

 

The Darkside Detective • NA All 31 Trophies 28th May 2022 • Platinum in 1 year, 1 month

 

The Darkside Detective is a very good point-and-click; the humor was really fun. I had a good time with this, but back when I first played it all the trophies were bugged. It has since been patched, so I got back in and played through the cases. Solid game!

 

Refunct All 12 Trophies 17th May 2022 • Platinum in 1 year, 10 months

I played through Refunct last year, but never finished the speed run. I had the one trophy left and just needed to play it a few times to get a sense of where the different areas appeared to increase my speed. It wasn't too tough once I did that, but it did take a couple of hours to get it all sorted out.

May's monthly game was a much easier affair after my previous horrendous month of pain.

 

Despite this GTA San Andreas has been a bane of my existence for a while due to janky controls, and very easy ways to die all of a sudden. I've had to reinvigorate myself a few times to get this game down in about 4 phases. Parts were grindy and parts to be honest I needed to find workarounds, but parts of the game played ok. It was just really hard to adapt in modern times to a miffy old PS2 title.

A Way Out All 15 Trophies 30th May 2022 • Platinum in 4 years, 3 weeks

 

Another one done at the end of a month. Rest of the month was just Destiny (and Rayman Legends challenges).

This challenge and the streak is probably the only thing that make me play other games now so thanks!

 

But back to the game.

I must say I loved it back in the day when I finished the story and even mopping up missing trophies through chapter select yesterday was a good fun. I highly recommend the game (just make sure you have a coop partner).

Oh, and thx to @SlimJim649 for being good guy and helping with music trophy.

Well its been a slow couple months as I've been busier with other stuff, and mainly focusing on the Skywalker Saga. Manage to finish off a couple things this month.

I actually really enjoyed this when it came out and by far the best in the series for me, managed to get the DLC on sale so finished that up which brought back some memories.

Hey! I hope everyone's doing well. Here's my update for May:

 

Detroit: Become Human  All 49 Trophies  21st May 2022 • Platinum in 10 months, 1 week

Detroit was a mostly-nice game on my first playthrough, until it wasn't. I tried to play as peaceful Androids, but the humans wouldn't have it. The second playthrough was the opposite; angy Androids, which was a lot more morbid but at least there wasn't any backstabbing and fewer lies. Overall, I liked it a lot, and the highlight for me was the story and characters. Connor, Hank, Kara, Alice, and Markus sort of felt like friends come the end of playthrough #1. Blew out the estimate a bit on this one too; 108 hours for a 20 hour estimate. I did run into a bit of decision fatigue though and put down the controller and thought about the options.

 

Control  All 68 Trophies  31st May 2022 • Completed in 10 months, 3 weeks

A game I knew I'd enjoy, but not as much as I did. The trophy guide suggested it would take 20 hours, with 2x 5 hour DLCs. I think those estimates are very optimistic (or I just got lost in the world havin' a good time ), as my final play time was around 120 hours. Everything was so strange and mysterious! But also very accessible; I ended up tweaking the settings so I'd take half damage and regenerate stamina faster, and while exploring added on one-hit kills. I imagine it would have been upwards to 150 hours or so if I didn't opt for the assist.

 

Got a few games lined up which will hit the >6 months timeframe, so should have more to share in the coming weeks if all goes well!

An early completion this month which I am stoked about. My backlog is really getting down now with about 24 games and only probably around 18 or 19 eligible for the streak challenge. Just need to try and keep doing one of these games or more a month and eventually if I dont add too many, this backlog will be erased sometime next year. We'll aside from super meat boy forever that is. Anyways.

 

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age All 59 Trophies 4th June 2022 • Platinum in 3 years, 9 months   This is a delightful game, and I really enjoyed the maps and travelling its just done so well. Despite this Dragon Quest games are naturally grindy and there as just a few pain in the butt trophies i hadn't done. Having seven characters to choose from is cool and the credits at the end was super worth the ending. 150 hours later though and I'm glad it's gone.

 

Just realised that this makes it 36 months straight. So 3 year anniversary of getting a game done each month! ?

Got some completions in very early this month, and my first month doing more than one game

Doom  50 of 55 Trophies  1st June 2022 • Platinum in 4 years, 10 months

 

Child of Light  All 20 Trophies  2nd June 2022 • Completed in 6 years, 9 months

 

Both of these I didn't have too much to do on. For Doom I just had to get the trophy for completing the first level on ultra nightmare. I'd attempted it in the past, with and without the glitch, and just never managed to do it. But I thought I'd give it another shot, and when I committed to getting it done it didn't even take that long (story of my life really ?). I don't have it in me to spend hours playing the multiplayer for a couple of the trophies in the DLCs, especially with so many other games to play, so I'm going to leave it at the platinum. 

I loved Child of Light when I started it ages ago, but for reasons I don't remember I left it to play something else, and when I returned I'd completely forgotten what I was supposed to be doing. So then it sat gathering digital dust.... but some guides got me back on track finally, and it turned out I was actually very close to the final two bosses. After those and a quick collectibles cleanup, the 100% was mine!

I was so excited when I completed Child of Light, because it brought my games completed up to a nice round 30, which is not much but it was progress.... only for it to immediately return to 29 when Horizon Forbidden West's NG+ DLC was released... sad times.

Snowrunner is completed!

One of the best games to just chill with friends and talk about whatever imo.

Once you get past the beginning stages where you don't have the tires and trucks to get through the deeper mud parts of the maps the game becomes relatively easy.

Although the start and some days can be a bit frustrating if you get stuck or flip your truck.

The game recently got a PS5 version, so this one will be stacked someday.

 

Not quite sure what's next on my agenda. Maybe the Bugsnax DLC, but I'd have to play again, deleted my save files... stupid mistake.

Battlefield V Completed in 1 year and 4 weeks! Rarity for the plat is at 6,17%
