Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
It's a meeeeee and I have a DLC completion. I finally bit the bullet and bought the DLC for Maneater. Actually got a bit lucky with it, because I knew I've deleted my save files of the console for both PS4 and PS5, so I mostly held back because of the price of the DLC and it being rather short, but there was also that flicker of doubt of having to play the game from start to finish again. BUT! Ladies and gentlemen... for whatever reason I uploaded my PS4 save file to the cloud, I don't have auto uploads on, because of all the save scumming you do for Soulsborne endings. Back to Maneater, the PS5 version has the option to import a save file from the PS4, so by pure chance I saved 10 hours of my time. DLC was fine, a bit short for the 16 bucks price tag, 8 in the sale I've gotten it, but nothing special. Main game is defintly worth a try if you haven't played it yet. So 11 more to go to get the platinum symbol for this year again, and three of them are going to be Elden Ring, F1 2022 and Code Vein. Just 8 more to find On another note, I've managed to get my complete backlog down by 25 already, so that's going great! But I also need your help friends, I've joined the bingo for this year and I have the "Recommended by PSNP Member" square - so feel free to recommend me some stuff, doesn't matter if it's on my profile already or not. I will try my best to complete the first three games you guys say. If I can use them for this event aswell, great! But I swear to god if you recommend Super Meat Boy I'm going to slap you! Popular Post Sylvanticore
Hey all! I got my first game done for March which is the first of two Lego games I hope to have completed. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens As of this post it sits at 60 of 70 trophies, finishing off the DLC later on, the other Lego game will be Jurrasic World in the next few days/week. @Gretchen27 Seeing your post... yeah I think I need to finish off Uncharted 2 well do that in your honor Also I always forget, what does this mean? Total: 14 games (-12) UPDATE All trophies are now collected as of 9th Mar 2023 12:28:38 PM GMT Edited March 9, 2023 by Sylvanticore
Popular Post Gretchen27
@JayDeLosDioses I didn't look too far into your gaming list (tons of games you've already played) so you might have played these, but I'll throw in recommendations for: The Last Campfire - a relatively short puzzler. AI: The Somnium Files - a Detective/Adventure style game with humor. Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments - or any Frogware's SH game, don't expect a triple A masterpiece, but they do good work. Also, I too picked up Maneater's DLC when it was on sale. I'll get around to that soon. @Sylvanticore Yes! Finish Uncharted 14 games is the total for the month. -12 is the difference from the previous month. Feb was not as backlog productive compared to Jan.

Popular Post Caju_94
So, I guess there are people who are never late to the party. I am going to sign in! For this year, I already have a game that I platinumed last February (HACK//G.U. LAST RECODE -> (3 years, 4 months), and I have other games I am starting to play again to either finish them/platinum them. The list is quite a bit long, so, to not create false expectations to myself, I will choose to complete these games as I see fit throughout this journey!

Almost didn't make this one since I was so burnt out of Lego after the last game, but here we go with the 2nd game of this month. LEGO Jurassic World All 50 Trophies 26th March 2023 • Platinum in 8 months, 3 weeks If I can give anyone advise, don't try and do Lego games back to back, I ended up having to play other stuff because I was so burnt out of Lego, I won't be touching the Skywalker Saga now till maybe May because of it, I don't know if I'll get any more games done this month but I might see if I can squeeze an easy one before the 31st. Next month I'll focus on Uncharted 2 and Monster Hunter World. Edited March 26, 2023 by Sylvanticore

NA Gretchen27 Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars Maneater Truth Quest DLC JayDeLosDioses Maneater kylebaptie Just Cause 2 MattbluePT FIFA 22 Meikoro Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon InFamous Psy-Tychist Survive Mr Cube! Disco Elysium Summers_day122 LEGO DC Super-Villains Sylvanticore LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens LEGO Jurassic World For my Backlog progress: Drum roll, please. I have two completions to report. An obscure dungeon crawler known as Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars at 9 months, 3 weeks. I actually finished Conception II for this event some years back, which is why I picked this up to play. Thought I'd be able to breeze through it with one game already under my belt, but RNG & a substantial completion list had other plans for me. If anyone's interested in the story & a bit about the gameplay mechanics, I've already written about it in a checklist post here. The short version of it is, the story is ridiculous, but the dungeon crawling is good. My completion time was 92hrs. What held me up you may be wondering? Obtain all 322 weapons, 286 pieces of armor, 120 accessories, & finish all quests (36 of which took me 8hrs). The various equipment is not as bad as it looks. Around two of the last floors of a dungeon they'll be these astrolabe tables that items can be traded for guaranteed new items. It'll only take items never traded before though, so near the last handful I needed to actually track down & luck out specific equipment. I'd jump on the game everyday & snag about 5 items for two months. Quests were a killer. 70% follows general story progress, the last 30% are from character requests. 12 characters have 3 quests apiece. They are randomly given during dungeon battles, only after your relationship with them is maxed out & they have sent a certain number of generic messages. To make it even more difficult, quests can be requested again, & you can have only one character quest open at a time. Bonus, a character can just send a message with no quest & there's no way to sway who sends quests. RNG was a nightmare, but I was the 41st achiever for the platinum. Anyone looking for a top 50 achiever milestone with 100hrs to spare...don't do it if you're still sane. My other backlog completion was polishing off Maneater's Truth Quest DLC at 8 months, 4 weeks. I snagged the DLC when it was half off (because why buy a $15 DLC when I bought the main game for like $13), & finished it in about a day. I saved one license plate collectible so Island Queen could be my 8000 trophy. Or tried to at least, it popped in order on my system, but PSNP shows identical times between Island Queen & I Can Handle the Truth!. & it put the latter for my 8000 That's two completions with two milestones. On deck is a mess, I'm playing: Resident Evil Revelations 2 (Vita): it was random I started it up on a flight back in February, & stuck with it to finish up everything in episode 1. We're talking countdown mode (where enemies are stronger & the clock is ticking towards an instant game over), invisible mode (enemies are stronger & unhelpfully invisible), & the knife only run (if not as clear as the second mode, that's a ban on guns even AI controlled & no stealth kills). Feeling pretty confident in my abilities after that, I started episode 2 & the modes became more daunting. There's enemies that run at you & explode, & dogs. Oh, those damn infected dogs. As erratic as they move, it'll be a nightmare on countdown/invisible mode. If I can do an episode about every month, maybe I'll have a nice Halloween platinum. The Evil Within 2 is on the table for backup. Root Double: Before Crime * After Days: the next VN on my backlog pile. Only managed to read it for two days last year. I'd brought it to read during my lunch break at work, but either I got busy or bogged down with the handful of VNs I had started across a few systems. I've learned my lesson to stick to one. After I finish reading this one I'll likely jump back into some of my Switch's VNs. For anyone interested in the story, I'll share what I've gleaned from my re-reading of the first couple chapters: When a nuclear research facility catches fire, an elite rescue team is called to put out the fires & well, rescue people. The nuclear reactor has a meltdown though, & the facility goes into lockdown. Now, about 5 of the rescue team & a handful of survivors are trapped in essentially a strongbox filled with radiation. For plot purposes to avoid a rather short, tragic tale, the facility has stashes of AD. It's an anti-radiation shot that I'm sure Fallout characters would have traded numerous bottle caps for. The downside to AD, it has to be administered every hour. Remember the facility is also on fire, emergency stashes have been destroyed already, & the more survivors that are found, the less AD they have to make it to morning. The VN offers two points of view to follow at the start. One is the Captain of the rescue team, whose every heroic bit of training & leadership has been reset by a bout of amnesia. Second is a school kid. I haven't started his route so I don't know more than what intersects with the first. Apparently his mother is a researcher at the facility, but he has no reason to be there. I'm very early into it, but the title bugs me & a farfetched theory popped in my head. I'll put it in a spoiler just in case: Spoiler I'm thinking the captain of the rescue squad & the school boy are the same person. Based on the title "Before Crime," the boy sabotaged the facility & caused the meltdown. Then "After Days," is when he's older & goes back to rescue himself. Just a wibbly wobbly thought. It's a decent VN. I haven't encountered a dialogue choice yet, the choice system here is a trust gauge meter at certain points. You adjust whether you're willing to believe or listen to who's talking to you. Finally, I'm playing.... Monster Hunter Iceborne ... Rise: yes, not technically on my backlog, yet (damn near guaranteed). My hope is starting another game in the series will give me a push into the old one. At least I'm banking the controls are similar & it'll save on relearning those. The download is about to finish, so I might start it tonight or tomorrow.

After learning a bit of the story from someone else here years ago when I was considering Conception II, I can assume the story is the same: World is f'ked up by demons, the main hero is a special hero who has genetics that will help the world be saved from the demons, so he has to have pseudo-sex with a ton of female characters to make them pop a zillion babies who can fight the demons which requires you to bewitch said female characters by fighting with them in randomly generated dungeons and in the end, most of your kids end up in slave labor to help rebuild the city. As Bentley would say, "That's a rough translation." Glad you are enjoying it. Edited April 2, 2023 by Taruta13
Gretchen27
@JayDeLosDioses I got this: From: Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 9:32:21 am To: Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:38:34 am Result: 182 days, 1 hour, 6 minutes and 13 seconds Or 6 months, 1 hour, 6 minutes, 13 seconds It'll count ? @Taruta13 That's a perfect summary for someone whose never played them ? Conception Plus is a remake of the first game from PSP, so Conception II's story follows the same basic outline. Thankfully there's a skip feature for any text, because it's part dating sim that just drags on. It can be a challenging dungeon crawler, but I'd say play II instead of this one. It's a bit easier to finish.
