Popular Post hayesb
Finally have risen up from the shadows haha, and what a way with being able to 100% CoD: World at War. Map Pack 2 wasn't that bad. I had some real trouble with Perkaholics Anonymous and Pack Addict for Map Pack 3 DLC. Needless to say that it's done and over with. Popular Post REAPER4536
I started this game right before I started my Bachelor's Thesis so I knew it would be eventually backlogged and could make this event at some point easier. Nevertheless, I also wanted to play that game to build some bridges and bring a browser game on to my PS4 since I play them from time to time on PC and why not get trophies at the same time? Bridge Constructor - First trophy 7th October 2019 - Completed in 1 year 2 months Bridge Constructor All 42 Trophies 19th December 2020 • Platinum in 1 year, 2 months I would say it's one of the harder PS4 games if you don't cheat. I hadn't had the patience for all the levels and inspired myself with other people's solutions. After knowing the tricks other levels got way easier (like having metal ropes under the bridges which made the save money trophy easy af). All in all a good and super easy plat if you look up solutions always. If you give it a try with yourself then the game is really enjoyable. I will most likely write something else before the end of the year to also sum up my gaming backlog progress from this year. I am currently going - besides Far Cry 2 and Gems of War - for Super Meat Boy (I have to do a world soon and need to start getting good again), Titanfall 2 (become the master) and most likely other PS3 games. Ohhh and of course World of Tanks. I finally got a working PS4 controller so I can play some tank battles again. I had the problem earlier that the R2 button didn't work well enough. I could still play FPS and shoot people but driving on the other hand was limited at 1 mph or 1 km/h Edited December 20, 2020 by REAPER4536
Popular Post bruin-rocks
Making progress on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, just need to play New Game+ on the hardest difficulty and then I have 100% in that, then back to The Last of Us 2, I’m currently playing a Grounded Permadeath playthrough. I have permadeath set to Reset the Act upon death, and I had a pretty stupid death and lost about 2 hours playtime. That was infuriating, I didn’t even die to an enemy, I fell to my death... so that’s why I jumped into Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it’ll also be nice to clear that up, because I did the first two Tomb Raider games for this backlog event, so it’ll be nice to have all three cleared. Also, I’m trying to finish Overcooked 2, but I’m not sure if that’ll happen before the end of the year. I have decided I’m still going to try and complete one backlog game a month in 2021, so I may still be kicking around, but with how busy I am now, I don’t get a lot of game time.
Popular Post Phantochi
Another one down: Call of Duty: WWII 51 of 91 Trophies 20th December 2020 • Platinum in 6 months, 3 weeks Pretty good game, i took a break from it because of the multiplayer, it's so bad, but the campaign and zombies were great, and pretty hard as usual with Call of duty, i ended up going for the zombies easter eggs solo, and after a few rants i managed to finish it, highly recommend it for anyone who is after a challenging fps, just don't expect much from the multiplayer, because it's really, really bad.

Popular Post REAPER4536
Well, WoT changed a lot and apparently you instandly research the next tank if you have enough XP - I wanted to save the game for Plat 75 (or wait for the 100% to be unlocked with the plat) but here we go. World of Tanks Platinum - First trophy 30th January 2016 - completed in 4 years, 10 months World of Tanks 63 of 66 Trophies 21st December 2020 • Platinum in 4 years, 10 months To bad I got the plat already. I wanted as mentioned above either the 100% or the plat as number 75. I do not like the design of the plat trophy so most likly I would have just popped it as 100%. I really enjoy the game - even with the new update. I always played the tanks in the Battlefield games and World of tanks is tanks only - lol I know you could have guessed that too. So I am really proud of one of the hardest platinums and also most grindy on my account. I am missing three more trophies. One Grindy, one super grindy and one extremly hard and maybe unobtainable trophy in this game. I will try my best to get them unlocked (or at least the grindy ones). If anyone thinks about going for this game then you will face a now unobtainable 100%, super grindy 100% - still grindy platinum and, as mentioned above, a super hard platinum. The game is highly skill dependend and for the ranger trophy you have to kill at least 3 and all light tanks on the battlefield (which is nearly impossible - some people try to cheat it know in a boostin group. I did it legit and if you have to do it too then good luck - you will need it). With at least 3 and alI I mean. If there are 2 light tanks only then you can not get it. If there are at least 3 then you have to get all of them. Just some of my stats so you understand the grindyness: I am right at 3000 games (where one takes on average 10 minutes -> 500 hours) I got the ranger trophy once (it is an ingame award too so you can see how many times it got unlocked) -> Super hard trophy Let's see if I get this game done or if this game beats me

Popular Post Gretchen27
Doesn't feel that long, but 10 years ago today I booted up the PS3 for the first time & started my trophy collection. LBP, which was bundled with it, is still unfinished. One day my platformer skills will be honed enough & I'll ace those no death levels. For now, I'm edging closer to completing one last backlog game for the year. Which is supposed to be Spider-Man, except I'm having a hard time putting down Yakuza Kiwami (also falls under the event). It's my game of the year right here. There isn't a part I haven't liked, or somehow strangely, grown to like. I'm gonna have to get the whole series now, & I don't even like fighting (read as button masher) games. Sadly, like LBP, at the moment it's above my current skill level to wrap up before the year. Back to an equally fun (& easier) Spider-Man. Just going for the plat because my system barely has the room for the base game & it's update. I have the DLC, have to get back to it next year once I clear space.Reminder: have your completions reported in by New Year if they're to be included in the year end summary. Plenty of time left to finish the year strong.@SunkenQueen Welcome & best of luck working on that backlog! Popular Post SyIaris
Last update for me this year, hope you all enjoy the holidays! Hitman: Absolution July 2015 - December 2020 (5 years, 5 months) Wasn't a big fan, probably due to levels being balanced for the Instinct ability - while interesting, I'm more the sneaky stabby type. Or sneaky strangle, in this case. Most levels weren't set up well for that unless you wanted to spend a couple hours throwing objects to lure them, but the cornfield stage was really fun. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel July 2019 - December 2020 (1 year, 5 months) Pretty mediocre compared to 2, but still decent if you play with someone. Loved playing as Wilhelm, did not have fun with Fragtrap's RNG trolling me at the end. And now I'm going to go try to get the online trophy for Shadow of Mordor and drop my poor average, since I don't want to play it yet. Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
First update time! I've been catching up on everyones updates and they are really great to read. I made some good progress with Hand of Fate, my oldest backlog game - bringing my progress with it up to 51%. I also remembered why I stopped playing it in 2015 - I don't think I had the patience for it back then. In a weird turn of events, it made me really reflect on my gamer-self from 5 or so years ago and my habits/approaches. I think I have way more perseverance now and stick with things a great deal more, or at least I try to. I still maintain that Hand of Fate is a really great rogue-like card game, but even after 5 years the combat encounter mechanics are where it really falls down again and again. At points, depending on the choices you make with the cards, you'll enter small combat arenas and the game turns into a third person hack n' slash. I don't think they ever got it right though, or at least it was never fully optimized for the PS4 (it's a PC game primarily) so you die more to poor framerate and weird hit-box issues more than anything skill based. I managed to earn the trophies that will make or break the platinum out of the way after much shouting the word 'NOOOOOOOOO' at the TV screen because the framerate killed me for the 100th time. Going through a 10-15 min combat gauntlet where you have to kill all of the bosses of the game back to back before reaching the final boss loses its fun factor after the 20th time you die to stuttering. Now all I need to do is pick up the last un-earned cards and a couple of technical requirements and i'm well on my way to the 100%. That's it from me! I'm looking forward to reading more updates from everyone with my coffee. Spoiler December 2020/Jan 2021 > Hand of Fate > In progress > [53%] [First trophy - 19 Feb 2015] Feb 2021 > Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain [First trophy - 5 Sep 2015] March 2021 > Bloodborne [First trophy - 12 Jan 2016] April 2021 > Dark Cloud 2 [First trophy - 13 Feb 2016] May 2021 > Digimon Story: Cybersleuth [First trophy - 17 Feb 2016] Jun 2021 > Firewatch [First trophy - 6th Mar 2016] Jul 2021 > Joe Dever's Lone Wolf Console Edition [First trophy - 28 Mar 2016] Aug 2021 > Tearaway Unfolded [First trophy - 2 Apr 2016] Sept 2021 > Dark Souls 3 [First trophy - 13 Apr 2016] Oct 2021 > Just Cause 3 [First trophy - 19 Jun 2016] Nov 2021 > Divinity: Original Sin [First trophy - 14 Aug 2016] Dec 2021 > Beyond: Two Souls [First trophy - 16 May 2017] Edited December 28, 2020 by Crispy_Oglop

Popular Post Ich1994-1994
Ok i think i am done with Backlog for this Month. Currently i am working on Deus Ex Human Revolution for ps3 and i dont think i will be able to finish it before the 31st. i Will probably also start to work on something else. Anyway this Month i also concentrated a little bit on my Pile of Shame thats building up a little since i got more into working on my Backlog so i finished some Shorter but great games from it. Ruiner, the Spyro Games and Doom 64. From my Backlog i removed the Following LEGO Worlds (0,80%) All 72 Trophies 1st December 2020 • Completed in 3 years, 4 months Last month i got the Platinum and first didnt plan to buy the DLC right away but then i decided i never want to see this game again. So i got the DLC and now finally can delete this off my List, Console and memory. I love the Lego games and i love Minecraft and this game that tried t combine the 2 was the biggest disappointment of my gaming life i think^^ Anyway onto the next thing Need for Speed: Undercover (5,65%) All 51 Trophies 7th December 2020 • Platinum in 11 years, 1 month Back in the day i used to have horrible Internet and even in 2009 when i played this there were barely any players left so all that was missing were the 119 races and that 8 player Trophy. While going trought the Game sessions to see if something interests me i found one for this bought the game (used in disgusting condition but it worked and was cheap) and surprisingly finished this. you can actually idle most of the online stuff so this was done overnight. really happy to have it done after it was one of the games were in my mind i already accepted to never have the PLatinum. Bayonetta (9,31%) All 51 Trophies 12th December 2020 • Platinum in 7 years, 3 months Back in the Day i played not alot more than the first few Chapters and then Stopped. i guess i simply was not in the mood for it maybe also becaus ein my Head it was one of this hard games that are not that great. In the End this game really surprised me with how good it was. ALso it was not really hard. Espacially after i found out that dodging is basically useless compared to the counter you learn later in the game via and item. Maybe i even buy the second Part for my Switch that sadly never made it to other consoles. Killing Floor 2 (0,45%) All 57 Trophies 14th December 2020 • Completed in 3 years, 8 months The last time i used this game for this Project is on the Day 6 Months earlier so i think its ok to use it again. ALso this time the Trophy is much harder than we are used to. Minecraft (Vita) (0,65%) All 94 Trophies 17th December 2020 • Completed in 4 years, 11 months Another unexpected completion due to game session browsing. i joined and got a pretty spontaneous message for the Multiplayer Stuff. The rest was pretty easy and done quick in the Tutorial World. After the ps3 Version last month all that smissing now is the ps4 Edition. Performance on the Vita sadly is not great at all.if anyone plans to play this game i recommend to only do the ps4 Editiion. Anyway feels good to have another version of the game that got me throught boring school lectures done^^ Saints Row: The Third (11,84%) 54 of 81 Trophies 23rd December 2020 • Platinum in 7 years, 9 months Oh boy. this game didnt Age well. In Some of the Open world activities it got kinda heart to see whats going on. The graphics are not made for my 55inch screen^^. The Only thing missing wa sthe Grinding of Challanges and activities so this was done pretty Quick while Watching VIkings with my Grilfriend. i WIll probably also do the DLC but needed a little Break from this after i got the Platinum done. Hotline Miami (9,40%) All 35 Trophies 28th December 2020 • Platinum in 7 years, 1 month This was...Kinda overrated to be honest. i bought the second Part in the recent Sale and thought i should finish this before starting it. Now i regret a little to have gotten the second but if they improved on the Ai a little and maybe fixed the controls it should be a great game. i like the idea and the gameplay but this are some flaws the first part still has. Anyway the PLatinum Trophy is great as last Platinum of this Year Trophäen-Süchtiger Alle Trophäen freischalten I dont know why i cannot switch the Trophylist to English here but it Translates to "Trophy Addict". i thought about making this my PLatinum number 400 for that Reason alone but i think this is also a good use for it^^ ALll in all 7 Games done This Month. i Dont know what i will play for the remainning 3 days next to deus ex but that is usually dicided by my Girldfriend Anyway. I think NExt Year i giv ethe 12 month Challange a try, This year i did in Fact finish the Challange but joined the Project to late to also join the Challange so next year i will hopefully make it officially. Edit: Oh i also worked on the DLC of LBP Vita but the Marvel stuff is just so horribly bad... i dont know when i will be able to finish this Agenda for Next Months Deus Ex Human Revolution Metro 2033 Metro Last light DLC Cleanup Saints ROw the Third DLC Cleanup Still Black ops 3 DLC Cleanup Sonic the Hedgehog and more Edited December 28, 2020 by Ich1994-1994
Popular Post bruin-rocks
Shadow of the Tomb Raider (PS4) - 100% Complete, 2 years 13 days. 100% Rarity 4.0%. I did it, I completed a game a month for every month this year, I was pushing it at the end here with this one but I finished it. I get so little time to play anymore that I wanted to pick something somewhat easy but still a bit of a time sink. So this worked perfectly, I also finished Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and now Shadow of the Tomb Raider for this event. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was a great adventure game. I really enjoy treasure hunting games like Uncharted and Tomb Raider, the collectibles feel necessary to the overall story, and that is what really sells it for me. I managed to find all the collectibles without the use of a guide so that was an extra accomplishment for me and also why it took me a little longer to finish. My playtime was roughly 30 hours, when I just checked the guide it said 15 hours, mind you I also did all 7 DLCs to get my 100 Trophies, which raised my average completion quite a bit. I might still complete one game before the end of the year. I still got a couple days. Overcooked 2 (PS4) - Platinum Trophy Achieved. First Trophy August 8th 2018 completion time 2 years 4 months. Rarity 19.48%. It was a fun little game to play with my sister, we still have all the DLC to complete for it so I’ll be cooking up a storm in the new year, I also need to clear the original Overcooked game as well. The grind at the end for delivering 1000 meals was rather annoying. It took a lot longer than everything else for some reason and my sister and I did really well at getting meals cooked and delivered, so who knows. But that’s a second backlog game for this month done! SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated (PS4) - Platinum trophy in 6 Months 6 Days. Rarity 47.10%. This game was a lot of fun when I originally played it on GameCube. Coming back to play it a second time with the things they added was nice, but felt tedious, that’s why I took a 6 month break apparently. If you have never played the game before I recommend giving it a shot. It’s a fun platformer. That’s three backlog games done for this month. Edited December 29, 2020 by bruin-rocks Adding my second and third backlog game.
Popular Post Crispy_Oglop
Finally got done with Hand of Fate, making it my 165th platinum, awww yeah! Hand of fate is one of the best card games i've ever played combined with one of the worst and most frustrating action combat mini-games i've ever played. And to enjoy the card game part, you had to play the action combat parts. So the 100% experience was a constant fluctuating mix of being annoyed at bad framerates, janky hit boxes and camera issues followed by being happy and satisfied with the card gameplay. I think the hemispheres of my brain regularly detached and re-attached getting through this game. I'm really really glad I did it though, probably one of the most cathartic experiences i've had with my trophy collection. This has been hanging around for 5 years and 10 months and it feels really good to have it fully done and dusted now. Spoiler December 2020/Jan 2021 > Hand of Fate > COMPLETE [First trophy - 19 Feb 2015] Feb 2021 > Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain [First trophy - 5 Sep 2015] March 2021 > Bloodborne [First trophy - 12 Jan 2016] April 2021 > Dark Cloud 2 [First trophy - 13 Feb 2016] May 2021 > Digimon Story: Cybersleuth [First trophy - 17 Feb 2016] Jun 2021 > Firewatch [First trophy - 6th Mar 2016] Jul 2021 > Joe Dever's Lone Wolf Console Edition [First trophy - 28 Mar 2016] Aug 2021 > Tearaway Unfolded [First trophy - 2 Apr 2016] Sept 2021 > Dark Souls 3 [First trophy - 13 Apr 2016] Oct 2021 > Just Cause 3 [First trophy - 19 Jun 2016] Nov 2021 > Divinity: Original Sin [First trophy - 14 Aug 2016] Dec 2021 > Beyond: Two Souls [First trophy - 16 May 2017]
Popular Post REAPER4536
I posted earlier about the platinum and now I got the 100% in World of Tanks I had to spam massive amounts of monster rounds in order to have one round which is good enough for the skill dependent trophy. The grind was just grinding and took me another 230 matches. To be fair 230 Matches for the remaining last three trophies is really generous. I was thinking whether to start the next year well or to end this year well with the 100% of WoT. In the end, I do hate platinums without 100% and technically this game was already done with the plat (for many ppl.) and I had to complete it once and for all (trophy wised - I defiantly kick some as with my new Jagtpanzer E100 just for fun but not today or in this year anymore (or maybe I will lol). World of Tanks All 66 Trophies 30th December 2020 • Completed in 4 years, 11 months World of Tanks - First trophy 30th January 2016 - completed in 4 years, 11 months. The platinum rarity lies at 0,69% while the 100% rarity is at 0,08%. Let's see if this will be the all time high lol or all time low depending on the perspective in this backlog challenge. Despite spending 550 hours into this game, I never felt bored or pissed off at this game for a long time. Just one line nearly killed it. Playing 100 matches with tanks I do not like in the never-ending story of the tiger tree was torture. Spending 140 matches to get the Tiger I which needed 160 Matches for the Tiger II which needed 280 matches for the E75 which needed 200 matched for the Tier X Tank. For me, the entire line except for Tiger II and E75 maxed out had a sign with spank me please on it. All your shots get blocked and everybody is hitting you (or maybe I was just bad in this game at that point of time since the german line was the first Tier X line I completed). All in all, I can say give this game a try if you have started it already (unobtainable 100%). If you become good then the game will grand you some really good rounds. But enough about WoT. Year Summary I am happy that I finished at least one game every month. Jan: Assassins Creed IV - I'm glad that I got it done because of the online grind and the online trophy in singleplayer Feb: Syberia - Nice game from my childhood but in the end not to enjoyable anymore and I had to force myself to complete this game Mar: Race the Sun - Finished that game on the 31st. Had to force me to finish this game too Apr: Battlefield Hardline - 40,000 kills ohh Gawd. At least I was doing the grind only while watching some recorded lectures and knew every world my professor said about certain topics (got this game done and a 1.0/A on my exam lol ) Apr: Battlefield 1 - Working my way through the Battlefields and kept boosting with my squad lead into this grindy 100% as well. Never enjoyed it so I am glad it's over May: Laser League - A friend of mine forced me to finish it and with shit servers, I am happy to have this over too (while the game isn't too bad) Jun: Battlefield Bad Company - Super Hard, Super Grindy, Supper Laggy and a long time unobtainable. Happy to see it completed this year July: Battleborn - 1 Hour matches often did not save, super grindy, and an upcoming server shutdown. Thank good, I had time this year to complete this game Aug: Sound Shapes - At the end not as hard as expected but I got trolled often with bad spawns in this game. A game everybody might have fun with Sept: Dead Space - Awesome singleplayer game. I am looking forward to the franchise now Oct: Grow Home - Finished on the last day. Short but actually an ok game. Now: Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon - Another Far Cry game from the list and also pretty awesome Dec: Bridge Constructor - Fun game but could be finished earlier. But my way of playing is to do what ever I want and to clean up the mess later Dec: World of Tanks - One massive grind game less on my list I like how I started good with MP games and then switched to SP games when my university started. Next year will be rougher and I might start many new games (mainly single player games) which will be finished in summer or right away - depending on my mood. I am glad that many online related games got knocked out of my list in 2020. Single-player games can be finished at any point while online games need servers. For the next year, I try to get some online games done (server shutdown candidates or some easy ones) while starting a lot of new games where I will make sure to get the online done right away and then just enjoy the game. This year I did besides those mentioned games just Fall Guys and yes with exploit if anyone wonders. The point is that I want to play just for fun again. Trophy hunting is fun. I enjoy that too but with just for fun I mean without paying attention to any missable trophies. With that being that my backlog will grow again but this time hopefully with less grind Let's see what the year brings. I hope everyone had nice Christmas and wish you a happy new year
Popular Post bruin-rocks
Child of Light All 20 Trophies 30th December 2020 • Completed in 6 years, 7 months That’s a fourth game complete for December. This was a decent RPG, nice and short too, it helped that I had a save from 6 years ago that I could upload and just knock out what was left.

Popular Post Mr-ttaM
My completion for December was Persona 5 Royal. A game I started and burned out on at release in April, but absolutely adored and was delighted to come back to! Final play time was 349 hours and 29 minutes, over the course of 8 months, 1 week, 5 days.
