Dropping in to say, I haven't forgotten to update the OP. Just been busy lately & it's been hard to be productive with my down time after taking care of work/life priorities (this gamer likes to game too!). Keep tackling the backlog, I will catch up with the updates this coming week ?

Got my first game done for July which I also used for the animal event going on at the moment too.

Gonna try and get either Darksiders 2 or Sonic Mania completed soon as well.

Kinda between games since going on vacation soon and before starting crash 4 I was doing some more Surviving mars:

Space Race 10 of 10 Trophies

 

Finally got the space race DLC done which is probably the longest DLC I've ever done. Took me well over 50 hours for just 10 trophies. Just 1 DLC left but won't be able to finish that one before going on vacation.

I'm not too sure why the game is so rare as the trophies just require taking time  to following videos but I'll take it! Not sure what will be next, Sonic Forces, Darksiders 2 or something completely different.

Hey all, so I believe I now have 3rd game completed. Back in April I got the Platinum for Crash Bandicoot, today I just got the 100% completion done, I left it two months because F**K Stormy Ascent's gold relic... which I have gotten done today.

 

So if it is allowed then my 3rd game for this month is

100% Completion Rarity: 3.78%

Time to 100%: 4 years, 3 months

Yes, it's good to use since it's not for the streak (you've got more then one completion for April & July). & in general, it's okay to claim completions again from DLC cleanups.

 Happy to keep the backlog streak going with this one. I'd definitely recommend buying the DLC on sale though, it's super short and more of the same.

I have just got back into gaming and trophy hunting after a break of a few years. This event could be a good way of reducing my massive backlog. I was looking at my completion percentages yesterday and there are some games I would really like to clear out. Cyberdimension Neptunia is sitting at almost 90% so will be one of the first games I want to finish up also would like to finish up Star Wars Battlefront Platinum with only one trophy altough that is the super annoying campaign trophy.

The Platinum is my 20,000th trophy. Picked it since it was about money and numbers. Grind to 10,000,000 coins (on hand, no cumulative). 

 

One level that gives 40,000 coins per 10 minutes. Had that level so many times, only during tv shows.

I completed 11-11: Memories Retold relatively early on, and hoped to complete another game, but with only 3 days left I'm pretty certain, that I won't finish any more this month.

I can definitely recommend this game to the PS+ Extra & Premium subscribers. It isn't too long and has a lovely story. The collectibles can be a bit bothersome at times, but there's chapter select and great video guides on YouTube.

Think I need some advice on what games to play next, I got 2 games planned for August but other than that my feelings towards some games are waning a bit, any suggestions would be good I plan on doing Phoenix Wirght and Darksiders 2 next month.

Not happy with the completion for this month; but it is what it is. I'm trying to finish Blacklight Retribution but that grind is very boring lol. Also started playing Warframe again! have been enjoying that one a ton! Although I'm not sure if I can count that one as a completion until all the DLC is completed? I'm almost done with the base game trophy list, but I'll make sure to have another completion for August just incase... which will probably end up being Killzone Mercenary for the Vita. Servers shutting off for that one so I gotta the online trophies ASAP.

Alas, here's my completion for July, got the plat 2 years ago, took me 17 hours and had no idea they released a DLC trophy list. Managed to complete the list within 1.5 hours, so it wasn't too bad.

This month was much more productive than expected. a few games were done much faster than i thought, Anyway i dont think there is going to be another game i finish so here is my Update

Journey All 14 Trophies 9th July 2022 • Completed in 8 years, 2 months

 

First off i ended up in a group for journey. the game is pretty empty by noso its quiet easy to find each other for the trophy were you have to play most of the game together. i had an old safefile with a few of the collectibles already done so this didnt take too long but i guess it could be finished from scratch in the same time it took me. anyway interesting game but nothing more for me

 

 

Frobisher Says! All 18 Trophies 12th July 2022 • Completed in 8 years, 11 months

A while back i bought the DLC for frobisher says just to have them secured and installed on my VITA. now i finally came arround to get them done. i was also missing some maingametrophies. the game itself was quiet fun actually. it reminds me alot of the wario ware games that i used to love when i was younger. just that curator photography trophy was absolute hell. that trophy alone took me 7h. you need to take a picture were 3 of 5 guys are currently moving but it is random which games comes up so sometime the game doesnt even happen for 30-40min and then it can happen that only 2 guys are moving at all. all in all i needed only 3 tries but it took me 7h to get to 3 chances.

 

Little Deviants All 55 Trophies 18th July 2022 • Platinum in 9 years, 5 months

WIth its 0,63 Platinum rarity i expected this to take ages and be damn difficult. i only remembered from back in the day that on some minigames i didnt really see a chance to even get a bronze. in the end it took me only 17h (according to ingame statistic) to finish this game and i would rate ir about a 5/10. the controls in alot of the minigames are annoying but nothing is really hard and on avarage i only needed 6 tries per gold spaceship. i still wouldnt recommend this to anyone but i am happy to have it over with.

 

Velocity Ultra All 31 Trophies 19th July 2022 • Platinum in 9 years, 2 months

Oh boy...this game has 50 Levels that you have to finish perfectly. On 42 of them i had the pefect score already but the last 8 were missing. i tried a few time getting back into it but it seemed to impossibly hard to me. the screen is basically constantly scrolling upwards and you have to kil enemies ad safe humans and there is also a boostfunction that makes the screen scroll faster. sometime the path seperates so that you have t go into one path then teleport back to the start of the level and use the other path. the rquired times for gold were insane. you basically need to constantly boost which made it quiet difficult....until i discovered you can set your own teleport stations so that you dont have to go back to the beginning of the level but instead go directly wee you want to. with this discovery i finish 43-49 basically all on the first attempt. (sometimes just forgot something or didnt know the correct path but all on the first serious attempt). only level 50 was a crazy difficultyspike but in the end also done after a bit of practivce. 
after that just a bunch more minigames had to be played (insane minigame month for me^^)
another game done in a few h were i expected to have to put in a lot more

 

Unit 13 • EU All 44 Trophies 29th July 2022 • Platinum in 9 years, 3 weeks

Lastly i finally wanted something that is not finished within 2 days and i got into unit 13. i had to start from scratch as i had no old safefile. this game is bad. AI is horrible, controls are bad and there is only 5 maps for all of the missions. so you spent a ton of time in the same rooms over and over again. i was really happy when i could finally delete this of my system. dont really have any more to say other than that i hated the game
 

 

 

Anyway thats it for this month. i expected journey to be the only finished game and then work on little deviants to finsh it in time for august but things turnt out much different. another 5 games out of the way and i am down to 220 unfinished games. i hope to reach 200 soon but am kinda stuck at 220 with how many new games i started in the last months.

God Eater Resurrection: I could not put this down on the Vita. Look up the best bullet build & work towards that & the game will be easier on your fingers. 

 

Monster Hunter World: on a monster hunting kick with suggestions here, but I'd recommend slowly chipping away at those crowns. Keep your skills sharp & earn one rewarding platinum. 

 

Borderlands: it's a running theme in this event that nearly everyone has finished this game (or one from the series) from the backlog. Let us know where you're at with this. We've duped weapons for one another & fought raid bosses if you need that kind of help. 

 

Uncharted 2 Remastered: one trophy? Saving it for a milestone, maybe?

For the streak, you must finish the game 100% if you already have the platinum. Warframe would need all the DLC.

Borderlands .. fair I just need to get my arse in gear and finish the arena before moving on, and as for Uncharted I held off because needed to get a physical copy since the cheats don't work to get brutal doone, but got some ideas now Thank you.

Whoops, didn't check the times played on those ? soon then. 

 

May the crown RNG be in your favor. It's a long haul, but you got this! Same for Borderlands arena, I had it crash on me a few times with fire weapons. Shame a fun game has a mind numbing DLC like that (if you're using OP guns).
