Question about unlocks (weapons, upgrades & suits)

So I know that you can buy them in Contracts mode with the use of money, however I am wondering if these are all able to be obtained through offline story? 

Are you able to find/unlock all upgrades, suits & weapons by playing through single player or am I going to have to grind $ in contracts mode to unlock all of them?

I'm pretty sure the points you earn from campaign enable you to buy weapons and upgrades. You only need one for the trophy, so if you want all upgrades you may have to grind contracts.

There’s no point I buying the disguises right? Since they’re only useable in Contracts mode anyways?

Correct!  Disguises are pre-selected in campaign per mission.  You can't just wear whatever you want.  However, when Contracts Mode was available, you could use the disguises to your discretion.
