Popular Post Sly Ripper
It's possibly one of the most requested features, basing the rarity for DLC trophies on who actually owns the DLC (due to technical reasons, "owners" refers to users that have one of the DLC trophies). Example of before/after: Note: there will be a filter added sometime to remove DLC you don't have from the trophy advisor.
CasaDeBen
I never even thought of that but thats a great idea. I like the filter possibility more though
HrodFireyeah
but only appear people with at least 1 trophy from the dlc, but what if the dlc is hard enough and someone who owns it dont get any trophy? dont like it Edited April 12, 2013 by HrodFireyeah
mattie_medusa
Woo this is great now I get to display one of my proudest platinum's as my rarest trophy instead of some easy dlc trophy Edited April 12, 2013 by Medusa
WDS777
This system does nothing but detract from the system, as there are big mistakes, which buys a DLC usually get 100%, look for Mushroom Wars: https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/314-Mushroom-Wars You tell me to get the trophy Master is easier to play 100 games offline??, you're drunk or what? Mr Incredible
but only appear people with at least 1 trophy from the dlc, but what if the dlc is hard enough and someone who owns it dont get any trophy? dont like it you can have the job of asking every member what dlc they do or do not own
HrodFireyeah
you can have the job of asking every member what dlc they do or do not own nice answer and very useful. I prefer the old style system, it let you see better how hard (in terms of money, time or difficulty) is to get the trophy...
WDS777
  There is no trophy there with 100% rarity... This trophy: Vanquisher Complete Campaign Mode is rarer than: Master Become a Master How can that be?, to get the trophy MASTER, it takes two weeks to Boosting, months without boosting. The trophy VANQUISHER it takes a few hours to get it. PD: "Instead of spending your time on things like this, you should put all those who were once in the list of cheaters back where they belong" PD2: "if you want to make a list of all the cheeters and trophies Hacking" Edited April 12, 2013 by WDS777

BeautifulTorment
Not a fan of this. How are you determining if someone owns the dlc or not? I like the idea, but it can't be implicated effectively.
grimydawg___
The only way I can see this being an issue is the DLC on some games, like PAIN or something like that To be honest, most DLC trophies on games aren't that hard anyway. PipeSwinger
Damn it there goes all my rare trophies! It's a logical idea though, and a good move.
ReverieCode
I support this, because basically it's the same as if someone doesn't have the game. I mean, it's a content, and a trophy that is included as part of that content. If someone doesn't own the content, it can't affect the global % of rarity, the same way as if someone doesn't own a game, it doesn't affect. By doing that, it's the authentic % among the owners. But I do understand (and also agree with) some of your posts, there can be particular cases in which no trophies have been earned... although, isn't that odd? Anyway, I'm happy upon reading this, specially considering my five rarest trophies belong to DLCs. Yes, I know.

One trophy = I own that DLC. I think that's right. Anyway I like this idea.
BettaNimbostrata
Well, I like the idea, but the Trophy Advisor is bugged. It advises to earn DLC trophies first, bacause they are obviously more common (among the owners of DLC).

Bullstomp
Friggin PHENOMENAL!! I've been hating that my rarest trophies were DLC for Mafia 2 that no one seems to play. Thank you Sly !
lporiginalg
From 82 ultra rares down to 64 ^^ Tbh I thought it would be a lot worse than that but it seems that games with DLC trophies from before they were packaged separately are not affected, such as Mirror's Edge, Dante's Inferno. Well I think it's better this way to have an accurate picture how hard the dlc trophies actually are. *edit* Edited April 12, 2013 by lporiginalg
Han_the_Dragon
I like the idea, and really I doubt there's other way to implement it. And now I see why about 100 of my ultra rare moved to uncommon.. But I have 2 questions: 1 - Will this affect the total completion (for each game, and overall)? 2 - Will this affect the total number of unearned trophies that's displayed in the profile? I think those 2 shouldn't be affected, but would like a confirmation. Also as a side note, some games DLC isn't separated from the original trophies, not sure if that's a technical problem, or if they where overlooked in the past, one of the games in question is Dragon Age: Origins.
ihadalifeb4this
Great job! This will give clear picture of trophy difficulty ... as long as the game is not made by EA
Milswood
I think this is great, It shows exactly how common the DLC trophies truly are. Once the trophy adviser filter comes in, there wont be a problem.
ASlimeAppears
Oh noz. I was actually kind of glad this site doesn't do this. Oh well. This didn't open a particularly fun can of worms when trueachievements did it, not looking to going through all that again ~___~
Aranea Highwind
I pay for the DLC for fun because i enjoy the game not for trophies or any of those things like being a rare trophy anyway nice update Edited April 13, 2013 by Melona
