SquidBaronet
I am watching an interesting speed-run challenge on Youtube. You may have heard about randomizers. In a video game you know what to expect because you can check a guide or play the game. Well, a randomizer throws it out the window; any item you get usually is replaced with another random item from the list. That means that Legend of Zelda doesn't give you the sword right away, so it might be in a dungeon! This sort of challenge is getting more and more popular. What this video I am watching does is take the maps of Super Metroid and Link to the Past and fuse them together. You start in Super Metroid, then you go through a door and end up in Hyrule as Link. What's neat is that a chest in Hyrule might have a Super Metroid item which is given to Samus, or Samus might find a Chozo Ball with a Legend of Zelda item that goes to Link. And it's all random. What sort of two games would you like to fuse into a randomizer cross-over? It should be the same platform if possible. For me, I'd like it if I could fuse Earthbound with Dragon Quest VI.
