Popular Post Honor_Hand Posted June 4, 2018 Popular Post Share Posted June 4, 2018 (edited) In the same vein as the other video game song-sharing topic we have here floating in the forum, I thought it'd be nice to have something similar but only related to anime. Tried looking for a similar thread before but didn't have any luck finding something like this sooooo.... here we are. The purpose of this thread is similar, just share one song you really liked in an anime (one song per post, please). It could be an intro theme, an outro, or anything in between. All is fair just as long as the song takes place in an anime. Songs from video games based on anime are not allowed, those should be on the other thread. There are many songs out there that really set the mood for the trillion of series that are available. Music in anime always stands due to the variety of genres that it can encompass and the songs themselves being pretty dynamic in general. There is something for everyone out there. Who knows? Maybe you will find out that the song you love so much is not that great for everyone else or that everyone actually happens to like that song you thought it wasn't anything special. Another plus is that some songs here may help you decide to finally watch that anime you have been postponing for years. With that being said, this is my pick to start the topic: A totally catchy song that sets a great mood for the series. Anyway this song, especially in the movie always took my breath away. There are actually three versions of it in the soundtrack but this is sort of the culmination of them. Really great song and I've seen it now for the first time performed live. It is of course a song from Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence by Kenji Kawai. Cave Johnson Posted June 5, 2018 Share Posted June 5, 2018 I didn't think the full version would be on youtube, but here it is: This is one of the few anime songs that upon hearing it, I immediately thought, "I need to get this album." It was about a year and a half ago when I first heard Magia. Fast forward to now, and I own every Kalafina album and most of their singles. The album that Magia is on, After Eden, is one of my favorite albums by any band, ever. I can't even put it into words how much I love it.
