Zolkovo
This is shaping up to be a great World Cup! I LOVE seeing underdogs getting results. Spoiler Except tomorrow in the England game of course.
ahmedelebiary
now that was a surprise ! looks like we are going to witness Germany vs Brazil again in R16.. 7-1 again but for Brazil this time ??
bpmotard
Just now, Smzthy said: I don't think anyone could've predicted that result. Mexico could've easily had 2 or 3 today if they had been more clinical on the counter attack. True, they panicked in 2/3 counter-attacks missing the opportunity to score, but a great game overall

Dark Layla
for those who saw this germany playing 4 years ago, this is a real shame! boateng is a slow player, the midfield there is no connection, muller and werner completely lost in the attack. germany may have said goodbye to the world cup

Ates_97
hey everyone! when should we post our predictions for the next matches? (I know Conn only gave us part of Match day 1 to predict so I presume we'll have to predict the rest of those games and then the whole match day 2 games too). Also, is anyone else trying to watch every single game? I managed it for the 2014 world cup and also the 2016 euros but I think this may be the last one I can plausibly do as adult life is gonna catch up to me before 2022 lol
Kaiwan
Great match Mexico great defence and counter attack, except that guy Layun need to go back and practice shooting again
Iris Heart
41 minutes ago, AlchemistWer said: @Iris Heart Congras! Thanks. It was a good game but it's fair to say that Germany didn't play at its full potential. It's just a elimination group match, things would be different if this would be quarterfinals or kinda. Besides, underdogs always play their best when they face better teams, don't be surprised if Mexico and Korea score is 0-0 or even they lose to Korea. It will be an interesting World Cup as most of the favored teams seem to struggle, as France, Argentina and Germany. Germany unfortunately missed his left defender Jonas Hector. The substitute Plattenhardt had no connection to the game at all. Löw should have changed sooner to Brandt, who made a good appearance.

Zolkovo
These group stages are turning out to be really interesting. Things might end up being a lot tighter than people anticipated in a lot of the groups. But I have a feeling the bigger teams will kick it up a gear or two in the coming days.
