Popular Post VirtualNight
edit: check the trophy guide https://psnprofiles.com/guide/8029-in-space-we-brawl-trophy-guide In general In Space We Brawl is an easy but grind 100%, originally some trophies were bugged (maybe just Space Lone Wolf trophy), but there is an almost 500MB patch which fixes anything (EU version, i do not know about other versions) and adds some very helpful features (you can play alone with bots and decide how much health players have) which will help to cut the time for the 100%. You will need around 20hours, it greatly depends if you have 4 pads or not (in which case you will need to constantly remap 1 pad and this will be very very very annoying and time taking). Personally I needed to use the pre-patched game for 1 trophy which didn't pop for me in the patched game (50 kills without weapons), maybe was because i used a particular ship on my first attempt, i don't really know. Trophies pop only after a round/match. Freezes Personally 95% of the times the game frooze after 2-3h of gameplay, you will start to see missing images from the main menu, this is the warn that a freeze is incoming soon and will happen during any loading screen. Luckily it seems that no trophy has to be done in 1 session, and stats are saved after a round. Walkthrough You can proceed however you wish, maybe you want to do all the challenges with S rank (not too hard once you understand the game) first to unlock all ships and weapons, and then go for the rest of the trophies. Automation You can automate some trophies (mainly the one for firing 500,000 bullets) by using the turbo function on the X button, this will cause to constantly play in the Tournament match with the settings you used the last time. Here is best to choose 10 rounds (and from options menu put health on 200%) and put some scotch tape on the L2 button to shoot, i highly recommend 2 turbo pads (the second one needs a turbo on X only) because by this way you wont play with bots and you can shoot without being killed, when i came up with this idea i was close to finish and with it my ps3 didn't freeze for 7 hours in a row when i came back. For the other trophies is better not automate them since they will come during whether the 500,000 bullets or kills related trophies, except for 100 mirror matches maybe. Trophies Brawl Club (Complete 1000 fights) Self-explanatory, 1 fight is considered as 1 round and will come during other trophies. Swords in space (kill 250 players with the Plasma Sword) This weapon is unlocked by completing challenge #16 with any rank. The best way to get these kills is to put in the options the health to 50% and Match Duration to Max, and play in a 4 players match in Tournament mode (seems that Gladiator mode is not allowed, i do not know if Championship is fine) preferably with 4 pads to have the ships idle. Use the Cypher ship since it has a lot of energy (weapons require energy to work) in the Mineral Asteroid-Alpha Sector map so you have to deal with asteroids and lidium (or however is called) only. You can damage the enemies however you wish, what matters is to finish them with the sword. Can't touch me (collect 5 defensive pods at the same time) Defensive pods are those small things that when collected stay close to you shooting to anything that is close (in few words a defensive turret), to pick 1 you must pick the light blue power-up dropped rarely from a yellow asteroid or from an alien ship. Go in options and set health to 200%, Power-Ups "Yes" and Match Duration to minimum (do not worry, this doesn't mean that the match will end soon but that aliens will come earlier which is what you need), then go to Gladiator mode, put lives and time to max (one of the 2 to "A Lot" which means infinite, you can't pick this setting for both options so decide what is best for you, i used it to Lives) pick any ship you want and activate the second player. Play wherever you want (I used Alien Nest-Beta Sector since there aren't big asteroids boring me there) and now is a matter of luck. Stay in the middle of the map and your target is to have 5 defensive pods defending you at the same time. A pod disappears when something approaches it too much. Focus on killing whatever is gonna attack you, and destroy yellow asteroids and alien ships to find the pod, the alien ship can drop even 3 defensive pods at once. but unfortunately your pods have the very annoying tendency to shoot to power-ups making the job harder. Once you have 5, the trophy will pop after the match (do not worry to lose one meanwhile, you can also leave from the match using the pause menu). Barehanded (kill 50 players without using weapons) I do not know all the details here, what i did was playing with 50% health and Match Duration to max in a 4 players match in Tournament mode, and using the standard ship to constantly crush on my target from behind until its dead (eventually i controlled the target with another pad to stop its run), there may be other variations about how to do this trophy but unfortunately i do not know them. Rain of bullets (fire 500,000 shots) The most time consuming trophy, any bullet shot from either main weapon or special weapon counts toward this trophy. You can use the trick explained in the Automation section above, or play in Gladiator (max health) with time to 300 and lives to "A Lot", with Cypher ship and Hydra Cannon weapon in the Alien Nets-Alpha Sector map (preferably with 2 pads and no bots), then just hold the L2 button with player 1 for all the time, when the energy ends suicide yourself (L1+R1+L2+R2) and resume. In 5 minutes you can shoot between 4,200-5,000 bullets. Widow maker (kill 2000 players) I don't know how but this trophy will definitely pop during the others, 2,000 should be a lot but seems they aren't for some reason. Alternatively do this in Tournament mode with health to 50%, i have the suspect that this can't be done in Gladiator mode. Xenocide (kill 4000 aliens) Aliens appear after the Match Duration option you chose or after a specific time depending from the map. This is gonna take few hours and can help to get some bullets towards the 500,000 required. Play with health to max in Gladiator mode with Lives to A Lot and time 300, pick Cypher ship and Hydra Cannon weapon, play with 2 pads in the Alien Nest-Beta Sector and use player 1 to destroy the green things to have 4 aliens popping from them, then kill them. When you have no energy suicide yourself (preferably where the green things are to destroy them and get new aliens) and continue like this. When you get the hand on it you can kill between 200-250 aliens in 5 minutes. Here it comes! (kill 250 players with the Quantic Slinger) This weapon is unlocked by completing challenge #19 with any rank and is a terrible weapon. Play in Tournament mode with health to 50% and Match Duration to max, with 4 pads/players (definitely don't play with bots because that will make things hard as hell), play in Leonis Prime-Alpha Sector and use the lidium (blue asteroids) with the weapon to throw it to the enemies, the lidium or anything thrown is considered thrown by you if you see the green line behind them, if that kills someone then you got 1 kill towards the trophy, you can also damage before with the main weapon. This is gonna be annoying. Old School Principal (obtain the Old School achievemnt 50 times) I asked developers about this and they told me is awarded when you use only the main weapon, but this seems not working, so the achievement is glitched or even the developers do not know what to do. I found a way to get it at times. First you must play in a 4 people match, put health to 50% and Match Duration to minimum, play in Championship mode (the trophy didn't pop for me in the Tournament mode) with any ship. Play anywhere except for Alien Nest, Sector G62 and Nebula Chimerea, picking the Alpha Sector, now use the main weapon (R2 button) to damage a target 3 times and proceed to the others with the same idea (less shots if they've been damaged by something) unless they are catched from an alien, now just wait until the aliens pop and let them kill the players. By this way in a championship mode with target score to the highest i could get a couple of Old School achievements (around half of the total rounds the game went), this however seems almost never working with the pre-patched game. Today I'll kill you with... / Full hangar (all weapons/ships unlocked) Awarded while completing challenges. Mirror, mirror (play 100 mirror matches) A mirror match is when you play with at least another player/bot who has the same ship and weapon, since what picks the AI is random, then you should target this trophy with 2 pads/players controlled by you, 1 match is intended as 1 round, i got this in Tournament mode. You can quickly finish a match by suiciding yourself so that meanwhile you can get the Instant death trophy, since you do not need to win. Instant death (complete 10 matches in less than 3 seconds) Easily done with 2 pads/players, just suicide yourself when the game begins and the match is over. I got this in Tournament mode, 1 match is meant as 1 round. Taking you with me! (commit suicide 50 times) It seems this can't be unlocked in the Gladiator mode, i got it in Tournament mode. Suicide is done by holding the L1, R1, L2, R2 buttons together. Space Lone Wolf (win 25 1vs3 matches) Since you can't make unbalanced teams with bots you must use 4 pads, simply play with 50% health in any map, i did this in Gladiator mode with 1 lives (and Teams to "Yes" of course), put yourself in a team and the other 3 players to the other one, then kill them all, repeat 24 more times. This trophy is not obtainable without the patch. Interstellar Brawl ( Fight in every single sector of each location ) Self-explanatory, just play one round in every place, i got this in Tournament mode. Full fledged / Elite pilot (complete all the 21 challenges / Complete all the challenges with S rank) Challenges are most of the time a weapon test or a tutorial for stuffs like movements, turbo and shield. They aren't hard but if you are not concentrated they can be annoying. The only factor to take in mind for S rank is the time, then you can get any damage (as long as you do not die). Dragon-Archon
This is pretty good. You could tweak it a bit and turn this into an actual guide.

I simply do not want to put dedication on a trophy guide, i used to do them for another site but i got tired of doing that so... Whoever wants to make a real trophy guide can take these info into it. whittle181
Thanks for the mini-trophy guide again. I just want to point out that this game does not require 4 controllers to 100% You can reassign them on both the PS3 & PS4 versions after individually selecting your player on the character select screen. Midnightwards666
@VirtualNightVery good guide. The information/detail aspect is definitely there and well done. I don't bother with grindy trophies and won't get them, but I have completed all challenges and collected 5 defensive pods. Unfortunately, I can't just take the info you provided and submit it as my guide, because I would get quickly rejected for plagiarism... but if you like, it may be permitted to make you an editor of the guide, we'll use the info you provided but I will tweak it so it's more professional and add a bit more info for the trophies I earned, then we can submit it. I don't know what the rule is on this though. @Dragon-ArchonAs you are a member of the guide team, can you please elaborate on the rule for such cases of permitted plagiarism? Yeah, you can do that. @Midnightwards666 will need to add you as a contributor to the guide and you'll need to leave a comment in the guide's comment section stating you're ok with the content being used for the guide. This is the easiest way for us (guide team) to check who gave permission, as it's hard to keep track of everything due to the amount of guides we review. This is gonna be annoying. I think he meant Luthin VII. Lidium is present at the onset and absolutely works for a 1-hit KO. Aliens arrive soon (even though I’ve tried both Max and 3:00 match setting) but you have a little time, at least to get 2 kills. In Leonis Prime though, aliens arrive almost instantly (also regardless of match setting) and lidium is scarce as well as smaller sized.
