Popular Post Metal Slime King
I'll participate in this round as well, if only in the shortened capacity. I've been working on backlog and started numerous games due to server shutdown recently so hard drive space on my machines are hitting limitations. With that in mind here are 7 games for the 7th instalment of KYC . Evolve () Gravity Badgers () Type:Rider () Bard's Gold () Extreme Exorcism () Enter the Gungeon () Licky the Lucky Lizard Lives Again () My completion rate at the start of the month was 77.33%. Other games I'm still working on may raise that rate higher than these new games drop it but it's already dropped quite a bit over time. Edit: My completion rate at the end of the month is 77.65% so it has raised slightly over the event. I'd rather do the Lily Rank grind on Action Unleashed again than getting back to Spellspire . I'll still be playing Devious Dungeon, as I only played through the Vita version. I only swapped it to 3rd spot as I didn't want to play it so close to finishing the other version. So I'll still give a review on it during this event . Metal Slime King
Spellspire was definitely a massive grind, the vita version is almost twice as long as the ps4 since they patched the ps4 version to put the chrome dragon on the 50th floor of the dungeon, not the 100th floor of the dungeon like the vita version. I got the plat on both systems and I appreciated that patch being on the ps4 version particularly since the control structure using the game controller wasn't as intuitive as using the touch screen on the Vita. It's pretty much just a port of a mobile game so the game works best with touch screen controls, I felt. I got both Spellspire plats and Brawlhalla, it's official: I am the god of grind! Yeah, I only bought the PS4 version because of that. I think I made it to dungeon level 4 or 5 and then the game started to drain me. I keep wanting to get back to it as it would net a good number of points for the plat race, but I just can't find the willpower lol.
dmland12
Looks like a good bunch of games we've got on our lists here. I'm seeing several games that I'm interested in seeing what people think about them (mostly stuff from PS+ or that I've seen on sale, but didn't buy). And then there's a ton of stuff that hasn't been on my radar at all. It should be interesting!

Well, enough excuses! I will have the 4th of July for a game and I have the last week of July off and the weekends in between to play. I will save a couple of hours each week to play 1 or 2 games. I'll be busy, but I'll try to be as prompt as possible on the reviews and no worries, they won't be all together back to back like others have done in the past! Anyways, here's my list. Popular Post ImBossy83
I'm joining as well. I put together a list of games i would Title "I can't believe I haven't played them already". I have started to play some of these games but none more than a few minutes. So i take this event as a reason to play these high profile game's. Here's the list: 1 Final fantasy 7 2 Nioh 3 Xcom 2 4 Red Dead redemption 5 Fallout new Vegas 6 Spec ops the line 7 Kingdom hearts 8 Ni No Kuni 9 The binding of Isaac 10 Resident evil I might change Xcom 2 with Xcom 1 since i also never have played that and I might have to change one console game to a Vita game since im going on a trip and that might take longer than planned. If that happens I have Zero Time Dilemma up my sleeve. Excited to play these great games. Completion 55.39% Edited June 30, 2018 by ImBossy83 Added completion percentage.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
Alright, it's past midnight here so I'm kicking things off with my first game. I'll be doing a preview on the first day and a final impressions update on the third day of each game.. Game #1 - Black The Fall - Preview Don't know too much about this game. It's a puzzle-platformer that gives off a dark and depressing vibe at first glance. The little I've seen off this game, it seemed to revolve around escaping a totalitarian government. I might be completely wrong about that though, guess we'll see soon enough. Expectation: Considering that I'm not the biggest fan of platformers, I have my doubts that I'll be in awe of this once I've played through it. It'll depend a lot on how the platforming mechanics, puzzles, story, music, sound design and presentation come together.
Popular Post PerryToxteth
Here's my list: 1. Battle of the Bulge 2. ABZU 3. Walden: A Game 4. Dear Esther: Landmark Edition 5. Puzzle Showdown 4K I am selecting games to fit my theme of Short and Stupid, which I did last summer as well. It's the nice time of year in the northern hinterland, so I don't have time to invest long hours into a grindy AAA game. I will grade each game to see if it's Sweet (great fun!), Sufficient (decent but nothing great) or Stupid (self-explanatory). I am planning to play 5 games in a four-day format (if that works for Hem) as I will be in the middle of the Pacific starting July 20.
Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
On 29/06/2018 at 9:06 AM, Cthulhu said: As much as I'd like to join (joined and played through every KYC except for number four, when I had a breakdown and had to leave the site for a while), I am very much in doubt about whether or not I have enough time to give this event the attention it deserves. It might be better to wait until KYC8 to join again, when work has cooled down a bit. So, hypothetically, IF I would join this round, I'd keep it to just five games like last time, and most of my writing of reviews would be done later in the month, when I've had time to build up a bit of playtime for each game. I guess my list would look something like this: XCOM 2 (PS4, PS+ June 2018) Valley (PS4) SOMA (PS4) MagRunner: Dark Pulse (PS3) Rayman 3 HD (PS3, PS+ July 2018) I'd probably put some PSVR in there but I don't know yet if I feel like setting it all up. Mostly, I'd be using the event to finally play two PS4 games that I bought but never played. I 100%ed MagRunner on X360 and rebought it on PS3 mostly to actually have it in case stuff gets pulled for PS3, but I guess playing it for this event might persuade a reader or two to buy it. It's also a good excuse to set up the PS3 again and play on it for the first time in over a year. Just for the record, I'm actually joining. Got cold sweat about adding XCOM 2 so I'm replacing it with Transistor, otherwise known as one of the oldest PS+ PS4 games that I have in which I have zero trophies but which I would be willing to try out. I actually tried a minute of it a year or two, three ago and figured it was not for me but I may have to re-evaluate as my opinion on games has evolved since then. Still thinking about doing seven games since it's KYC7 but I figured I'd better do five games, and add two at the end if I finish early. Transistor (PS4, PS+ February 2015) Valley (PS4) SOMA (PS4) MagRunner: Dark Pulse (PS3) Rayman 3 HD (PS3, PS+ July 2018) I'll post my stats once I'm actually starting on the first game. I have little gaming time currently (as said I'll get into gear for this event in a week or two) and for the past month or two all I've done on PS4 is boot it up for the Rayman Legends dayly challenges. Started Lifeless Planet but haven't even managed to play through it even though it only lasts three or four hours. Anyways as long as I haven't started on an event game (which I want to do right and take the time for), there's risk of getting a Rayman trophy I've been grinding for or a trophy for the final half hour or so of Lifeless Planet.
crimsonidol38
Added the completion rate to my original post. As I'm not feeling too well at the moment which results in even slower reflexes than usual I will start with a game that doesn't require any reflexes in the first few hours at all:Final Fantasy X HD I wonder if it will meet the fate of the other JRPGs I played during KYC (Atelier Rorona in KYC #1 and Tales of Graces f in KYC #2) and won't be played at all after the event. Knowing the fact that I already abandoned it on the PS2 years ago it's likely. But we will see if it helps that I can play it while not having to sit in front of a TV. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
Well, Black the Fall was shorter than expected. So I've rearranged my list a bit and I'll be doing Devious Dungeon as well during the first 3 days, because that's another game that's about 3 hours long. In addition I've added one more game to fill the void (HDN Victory). (still kinda) Game #1 - Devious Dungeon (PS4) - Preview This one is an action-platformer in a medieval setting. I've seen this game being described as a roguelike, even though the only characteristic of said genre present here are the procedurally generated dungeons. There is no permadeath, no loss of items, or any other kind of punishment for dying. Expectation: Seeing as I played through this on the Vita recently, there's not going to be anything that'll come as a surprise. As such I know exactly what to expect from this game.
