Worms  Battlegrounds also seems to be either glitched hard or unobtainable. 

every time you try to connect to another player for the online trophies it says "session is no longer available".

The Worms games are infamous for having terrible servers and major connection issues, along with serious stat tracking problems so all you can do is keep trying until something clicks .

Tour de France 2019 has an unobtainable trophy So close!, I believe this one is glitched on both PS4 and Xbox One.

It has been announced that Disintegration will have it's trophy list updated after the multiplayer servers shutdown.. Which means the platinum will still be obtainable!!!

Fall Guys is unplatinumable, because devs broke the Infallible trophy when trying to fix an exploit but are now dragging their heals on fixing the mess they created.

Hi there! Great job so far.

 

I'd add some known PS3 games that have its servers shut down (they should be moved from the "still obtainable" list to the "unobtainable")

 

- Mortal Kombat 9 (this one was missing)

- The Last of Us

- Uncharted 2/3

 

And I'd like to add to the list of "still obtainable" the game Deception IV: Blood Ties. It has 6 online trophies (if I recall and counted right). Haven't done them yet, but I know they are there ?.

This thread badly needs an update. Mad Max is now unobtainable and I know that's far from the only game to get its online shutoff in the last few months. The link the guy above me gave actually shows recent listings.

First of all, I would like to apologize for not being able to update this list. I had bad internet connection in my computer (which has been moved to the outside part of the house), so I rarely used it after that.

I also wanted to change the layout of the list, making it more understandable and accessible to you and even for me. Since I can't create tables with columns and rows, like in Trophy Guides, I updated the list with a new look.

 

What changed?

. Games are now ordered by platform only. It doesn't matter if the trophies are unobtainable because of a glitch or a server shutdown, it's simply impossible to get them;

. DLC trophies that prevent 100% games, even if the platinum is possible, are now added to the same list, therefore... 

. Each game has an explanation line: Red (Servers closed) or Orange (Glitched). If it's a DLC trophy, it will also mentioned in that line.

 

For now, I've only updated in the new format the games I've missed in the past months. It only includes Servers only, not glitch.

In the next days, I'll be reading all comments and check if they still true or not. I'll give a reputation for each one of you, making sure I've already checked its status.

After that, all the games already included will be updated to this new format. I've already noticed some games (Like Angry Birds on PSVita) are obtainable, so I'll have to check one by one ?

 

If people want the older version (just a list), let me know. I will create a Spoiler section with a full list of all games at the top of the thread.

The JP version of Borderlands 1 (PS3) is unobtainable. The reason is that the last DLC, Claptrap's New Robot Revolution, was never released for that region. However, when Gearbox released the remaster for PS4, the list showed up as a bug because they introduced a patch for exporting savefiles. As you can see, all trophies of that DLC (JP version) has 0,00% earn ratio.

 

Also, Dante's Inferno Trials of St. Lucia are still obtainable. The servers came down for a while, but they are back online. You can see that people are still obtaining the DLC trophies.

The Newsworthy trophy for Skylanders Swap Force (PS3, EU, NA) is unobtainable since July.

 

Rumour has it that the online news servers closed without warning. Same on Xbox.

There is something close to this, but it means the game has to have an approved guide. An orange “UNATTAINABLE” tag can be used to mark trophies at the top with the difficulty, time to 100%, minimum playthroughs. Usually reserved for glitched, but can overlap with “online required.” Checking last achievers for still possible trophies is 50/50 at best.

I request that the following games be added to the “PS3 Games with Online Trophies Still Obtainable” List, if they have not been added already. I have secured them within the past few months (ok, some actually over a year ago) but I’m afraid they could go unnoticed until after they already become unavailable.

 

Aqua Panic! (Send a score on the scoreboard) maybe this will still work after shutdown, like how Trials of St Lucia uploads still unlock the 2 trophies after failed uploads
Aquapazza: Aquaplus Dream Match (various Network mode tasks, like finishers, involving 130+ ranked matches to unlock titles, and 1 player match)
Awesomenauts (Use game invite, win a match, and with the highest kill count, kill a Solar Boss during an online match)

Battle vs Chess (reach 1200 ELO and beat someone with a higher rank once, btw every non-campaign/puzzle trophy is far easier boosted online than against COM)

Best of Board Games (win an online chess game) Best of Arcade Games, and its stacks have no online trophies

Castle Crashers (40 Arena matches) the volleyball rally trophy is not online

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (beat a boss with 6 people, 5 of which are dead, and kill an ally while he is charmed by an enemy)

Critter Crunch (15 online wins)

Cuboid (create and submit 12 levels, rate 30 others)

Darkstalkers Resurrection (win 10 ranked matches, and save 10 replays ***from other people***)

Deadliest Warrior: the Game (save a replay from an online match as the Zande, win 10 online tournaments) only player match worked for the Zande trophy, and there’s an amazing method to cheese a tournament with only 2 players

Deep Black (win once on each of the 5 maps, win without dying, and 15 kill streak)
Dungeon Twister (30 MP matches, yet another in which all the miscellaneous trophies are infinitely easier boosted)

echochrome (upload 5 stages)

echochrome ii (upload 5 stages, rate 100 others) *do yourself a favor and complete all 3 versions of each level in the campaign before moving to the next*

Fibbage (whole list) standalone Jackbox game

Final Exam - NA (complete 1 chapter in online co-op) JP seems to be delisted?

Geon (50 online wins, “variety is the spice of life” requires a combo of all online/offline mode wins to pop so either get them all at once or preserve your save file having registered at least 1 online win)

Outland (1 co-op challenge level)

Peggle (Win a duel using the Lobster character who is unlocked after level 20 in the campaign, win a 4P Peggle party, and by a margin of 100,000 points over 2nd place)

Pure Chess (win 1 play-by-mail match)

Puzzle Chronicles (15 online wins)

Puzzle Quest Galactrix (win 50 ranked matches, just use Gamma Sphere to steamroll opponent)

Quiplash (whole list) Jackbox Game

Quizball Goal! (Win 1 online match)

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (beat 3 developer times is way easier online, 5 PvP matches, ranked/custom)

Tank Battles (99 online games, one of which without getting hit, and 10 wins in a row)

Tron: Evolution (level up online, and win different game modes, 100 light cycle kills takes less time online)

Voltron: Defender of the Universe (complete a chapter online with 5 people, beat someones score in a chapter after he beats your score in the previous) Delisted, but could still download demo and purchase through XMB menu

When Vikings Attack! (50 VS matches, one of which under 5 seconds)

Yu-Gi-Oh! Decade Duels Plus (100 Tag Duel Wins, campaign is way too short to get 1,000,001 damage so boosting online is much faster)

Yu-Gi-Oh! Millennium Duels (30 matches, 15 wins)

Zuma’s Revenge (play 5 weekly challenges, unlocked after world 2)

 

The remainder of my online backlog I have not tested yet, I could add later when I do. Games from Jackbox (they just released Party Pack 7) and Arcsys fighting games are probably nothing to worry about anytime soon. My next test is Arcana Heart 3 (speculating if a certain “RP/Charm” trophies would benefit from deleting save file in between the two) and if that grind doesn’t get to me, Blazblue. Will try to get to the rest as concerned with Kung Fu Panda: SoLL, Naruto UNS2, Natural Doctrine, Smash Cars (Virus Run), Zumba.

guys is this thread still getting updates and maintainence in general? and who is in charge of that? i ve been reading the PS3 lists, the only ones that concerns me actually and they need immediately an update. its a pitty cuz this thread could be followed by many more people if permanently keeps updating, if someone can contact the creator of this thread would be very important for everyone to know whats gonna happen with thist post, which have proven to be very useful for many of us

The servers were switched off a few years back so it's now impossible to get the sole online trophy .

The title of this thread is a bit misleading.

For example, mad max is tagged as 'unobtainable platinum’. It is totally false for players who already earned online trophies.  Platinum is doable , online trophies no. It is not exactly the same...

Obviously if you already have the online trophies then the platinum/100% will be obtainable, for you. This thread is to highlight the games that have an unobtainable platinum/100% for those people that are starting from scratch.

It's not misleading at all, because all of these games are unPlatinumable/100%able for all new players who didn't get the online stuff done before the servers closed.
