The conversational parts are shown with 2D illustrations but with graphics that will make it look like a scene from the anime. The choices you make will also affect story development or even evolutions in the midst of battle. The exploration parts will have you search around the field to look for areas of interest that are key to the story. As for the battle parts, it’s in strategy RPG fashion with square grids, and you’ll be moving around your partners and have them fight enemies. Energy is consumed during battle, and knowing how to use it properly will be key to victory. Not much is known about the story, but the main characters were out camping when they suddenly get thrown into another world. Their lives are in dangers as they find themselves in a merciless world filled by ferocious creatures. This marks the beginning of a new survival adventure. The protagonist is named Takuya Momotsuka (subject to change), a second-year middle school student (8th grade) who find himself in another world. His partner is Agumon. Digimon Survive releases in 2019 in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. I'm really into the Digimon games and played most of them (Still need to buy Next Order and Hacker's Memory). Still, pretty excited about this concept. We are lucky that development for some of these teams is even possible remotely, and that just goes to show you the lengths many of them have and the passion they pour into their products. I think we have gotten spoiled during this pandemic because we managed to somehow kick off a new console generation and bring some amazing games to the table as well..people forget that there are still places in the world where people are dying, or restrictions have made things more challenging. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a soft spot for World 3 because I grew up with it, but the Cyber Sleuth games were pretty cool too. Bit of a winner-by-default since it was the first one I ever played, but Cyber Sleuth was fantastic! The whole digivolve then de-digivolve system took a bit of getting used to after years of playing Pokemon but I bloody loved it.
