Hey, couldn't find a place where it says clearly how this works when it comes to failing setup/finale. If you alert a dude on the stealth mission or destroy a vehicle thats in the mission will it reset? Or is that just if you die? Would be lovely to clarify this 100% =)

What Shadicochao said, also if a vehicle explodes with a player in, that will also count as a death though.

I'm not sure if this is true, but there are rumors that if you get blown up in a personal vehicle, stats will AUTOMATICALLY reset, so never drive anything other than the Armoured Koruma, and when there are choppers, like in Rescue Agent in Act III, watch out.

100% true. This happened to me during CM2 on the Escort ULP mission. I was in the Chernobog and my friend used my Vigilante when his own ran out of missiles. A chopper blew it up and we quit, but on reloading I saw my progress had reset. My friend's hadn't, however.

I can second this as well. It happened to us TWICE. Once in ULP Escort mission, Kuruma Armored can absorb A LOT of bullets but in the end, if you're too exposed to enemy fire, it can blow you up without any  sign of damage (smoke, fire).

And also a second time in the mission where you get the Barrage and clean an airfield. BEWARE of those crates scattered around the landing strip they can blow up.

The first time I was the one dying, I was reset but my friends weren't. The second time I wasn't the one who died but got reset anyway.

Both times we did quit fast.

So final word is Kuruma may be great in most situations but be extra careful using it, you're not invincinble in it.
