fbdbh
What the hell is with this game? My character is female, and I'm constantly bombarded with comments like "dude", "bro", "man", "ouch the nuts!"... really? And ALL the preset skaters are male. This is beyond ridiculous. Am I the only one bothered by this?

DrHambone
I loved this game series. It was different than the Tony Hawk games it was competing with. Maybe they developed the game thinking only males would play it? I have no idea.

On EA games you can not have such advanced expectations ?, if almost never they can make games well done there is no doubt they can not pay attention to small details ? Popular Post LuciaRosethorn
I don't see why it really matters, it's not like it changes the game if you get called a guy. Just remember most games are more male based since the majority of gamers are men, a lot of games at the start actually didn't even have female choices until later games.

Popular Post NightRusticDawn
The game is 8 years old, not only have the language changed over that time but so has the political landscape. Why are you assuming the characters sexuality? Maybe it's a Woman that wants nothing more then to be the opposite gender? Maybe some the Preset characters are gay or transvestites, how do you know? Well the game is 8 years old, I don't think you can expect anything from it. It's innocence by culture.
eigen-space
Only comment there that is bothersome to me is the one about male anatomy... unless that's something that female skaters say? Or if they're talking about skateboard hardware? Other than that, obligatory YouTube clip for whenever people talk about females being called "Dude" #imadude #girlgamer Edited August 2, 2018 by eigen-space

fbdbh
One of the trophies is called Mantastic Voyage. ? I would understand this if this was a narrative based game, I couldn't care less about the dudeism, but this is just lazy imho.

I'd imagine if the game went "girl" and "sis", and stuff like that only, well... by the same principle it shouldn't bother males, right?
Nexuds121
This is hilarious. Us all men acknowledges it but not females? This is to rich to see this coming.

That's bs and you know it. "Dude" might be interchangeable and people tend to use it for both sexes, "sis" is definitely not. Then again, to be bothered by it, you first need to give a damn. Your choice.
Popular Post Sergen
I'm glad to see most of you haven't had an SJW mentality to this. If this little thing ruins a game for you, I think gaming might not be for you. It's really fucking stupid to see SJWs bitch about all this stuff. Next you'll say women have less rights than men and so on, but at least when they say that someone has raped them it ruins the rapist's life, unlike when a man gets raped by a woman and is laughed at for it. Either way, I'm not surprised to see a thread like this pop up, SJWs are trying to bitch about everything and threads like this rather ruin the credibility of feminism instead of helping it, since the minority who speaks against these things are ruining it for the people who actually care about women's rights. Gaming is the one thing right now that hasn't fully been catered to for the SJWs who bitch about everything and I hope it stays that way. I bet you wouldn't be bitching if they were calling men "lady" in the game the whole time.
