Tips for Burning Vengeance?

Hey so I’ve been trying to get the trophy burning vengeance and I tried both throwing him through the fire and shooting a fire arrow but both of them kill him instantly so I can’t even use the shadow kill or an actual execution

just lure a bunch of orcs (including the berserker) near a bonfire, perform + x5 combo on any orc & it will unlock your execution mode. immediately grab the berserker and toss him toward the bonfire & rush toward him to execute him. it may take few tries but you'll get it eventually.

There are two types of berserkers, the fat one and the ripped kind... I got both with the fat berserker, not much success with the muscle-orcs. I also did this using the bonfire method, kill the excess orcs and leave only one regular orc and the targetted berserker. PSA to those about to tackle this game.

I really suck when I've to perform these king of inputs. I had to watch a video to perform this myself. This technique is more effective than Powerpyx's in my opinion.

The fire arrow + execution did not work for me for some reason. Tried it around 5-6 times, no trophy pop. Throwing him in the bonfire works as well per other users.

I got the trophy by going to a stronghold, then lured lots of Uruks, then shot an exploding barrel (to ensure he doesn't die of the explosion) on a not-so-close Berserker + Execution.

After many, many tries, just couldn't get the fire arrow to work. Ended up throwing him in the fire and executing him to pop the trophy. I did not remove any epic runes either.

Fire arrow method did not work for me either. Ended up:

1. finding berserker chilling around campfire with his mates,

2. killing his mates

3. branding berserker

4. grabbing berserker and throwing him into campfire

5. quickly activating r2+l2 ability with a sword

6. executing berserker

 

I wouldn't worry about getting this trophy until all abilities are unlocked.

Easiest way:

Wait till you got Storm of Urfael

Lure lone Berserk to Bonfire

Grab him with R1

Throw him into bonfire

Activate Urfael Storm 

Execute. 

 

Edit: PS Burning Arrow dont worked for me either.

After two days (on and off) of trying and failing every method I could find on the Internet and nearly giving up I finally got it to work with the fire arrow method. I shot him with it point blank and proceeded to just mash triangle+circle. I got the execution animation and it popped. I was shocked it popped. Of course I executed others aflame about a dozen other times but never got it to pop. I also had all my runes as epics because I had just sold all the ones I didn't need.
