VR Required?

Do I need a PS VR to play the game? The store says that it is not required but I don't find any other infos or gameplay material without VR in the internet.

I thought it was VR required.

 

Weird, the demo shows a PSVR required banner but the full game versions do not.

Perhaps the game got an update so it doesn't need VR any more, like with Eve Valkyrie?

 

In any case, the sale should run until the end of the month I think. I was planning on getting it, if I do I'll come back here and tell you if I can play without VR, if nobody who already has the game has commented by then.

 

Edit: a quick Google search shows lots of sites commenting in April 2017 that Tethered got an update that made PSVR optional. So yeah,no VR required any more.

I found the same things as you but what I didn't found was gameplay material which shows how the game looks without VR Support and how the controls are.

It's non-vr support since 2017 of April
