I was told that this is technically an online trophy as the times for reaching Tier 1 are provided by servers somewhere. I would like to know if this is true. I just checked by attempting to play offline myself. Unless you sign in once prompted to, the game will tell you the connection failed and that the mode is another online feature of the game. Take your time, and don't worry about the time limit. Once you know where everyone spawns, you'll be golden.
