Denvirus
I've grinded on this game to get the Master Jedi trophy, but the simple fact is, I am no good at the game. Anyone know of a shortcut to help out on this one?

MidnightDragon
Save often. Also back up your save occasionally in case you die and accidentally save. This is a very hard game, but it can be done. Edited August 23, 2018 by Spyro
communistwookiee
Save. Save. Save. Just save scum it. I also used the character select cheat and played it all as Chewbacca. He does more damage and has more health than any of the other characters.
AJ_Radio
Saving is your best bet. Pretty much a necessity in today’s world. I couldn’t imagine the pain and frustration you had to deal with back in the day with this game, considering how old it is.

As others have said though, save scum it if you're having trouble and you'll eventually get there.
Popular Post Asmund
Easy Method (IMO): Use the character cheat and play as Chewbacca. Get seeker weapon upgrade ONLY. Save scum through the game. A great method of travel is up+left or right depending on which way you wanna go while holding square+x. You'll do really far jumps while shooting tons of heat seeking missiles out at anything that comes on to the screen. Only save in spots that are low risk, and take time to hunt for hearts if your health is low. This will destroy the mob section of the game....which brings us to the boss section. The only downside to the seeker cheese is a couple of the boss fights can be a real pain in the ass because the rockets have a habit of chasing enemy fire instead of the enemy. But with proper save scumming and some tweaking of your position plus aim, you can angle the rockets so they are more inclined to go for the damage areas instead of chasing the enemies attacks.Hard fights worth mentioning while using seeker: Lava Boss: Go into the fight with very high health if you can, he tends to shoot his attacks in a time interval, if you managed to dodge one of his attacks there's a good chance you can just hold jump and shoot for the next 3 to 4 of his attacks without taking any damage. Then save when you see a safe opening after you put some damage on him (do this because his intervals will change after 3-4 attacks and you WILL get hit), rinse and repeat till he's dead. If your shots are chasing his orbs to much I found aiming the gun to the ceiling while jump attacking arced them towards his head instead of his orbs more than just regular jump attacking. A much riskier but simpler method is to get on the same platform with him, get extremely close to his face and unload. The majority of his attacks will miss you, but occasionally one might connect, be careful not to get pushed into the lava by that once in awhile connection that happens to hit you if you do this.Cantina Boss: If you don't approach this fight correctly he will put some serious pressure on you and hump you to death against a wall. If you move towards him he will retreat from you, if you move away from him he will corner you. Let's exploit that by weaving your jumps back and forth in the shape of a V while holding down jump and fire...with the seeker weapon you will be damaging him regardless if you are facing him. He only hit me one time and it was because I stopped the pattern to do a quick save scum.Hover Tank Boss: You want to get underneath it and immediately take out the the circular piece on its underside first. Doing so will provide a safe spot for you to cheese the rest of the fight. Next hit the engines, finally the shoulder weapons. The shoulder weapons can be hit easier by just standing up straight relatively close to the tank and holding your gun to the sky while shooting, this way you can get hits on it without it being able to hit you. After all pieces are destroyed crouch and shoot, you'll finish it off.Death Star Reactor: This is just a gimmick, as you get on the large platform heading towards the boss you'll see the droids that drop big hearts, kill them before jumping off the platform and grab the hearts. DO NOT JUMP UP OR WALK UP THE INCLINES ON THE SIDES ONCE YOU ARE IN THE BOSS ROOM. Doing so will move the camera up and allow it to release all of it's attacks into the room making it a tough fight. The boss releases orbs that eventually explode into 4 other sources of damage if you don't destroy them. So instead by keeping the camera low and aiming your gun up while shooting at it, the reactor will slide up and down back into frame. This allows you to not only hit it briefly but you'll also be dealing with half of the orbs which your rockets will pick off easily. Just continue to whittle away at its health with practically zero risk of dying. Nothing else really provided a challenge, so hopefully this helps someone out. I killed the other bosses not mentioned in 1-2 attempts, but these guys took some finessing because of how derpy the seeker can be about chasing enemy fire. greatfede
Few years ago when i tried the game for the first time i thought that this trophy was really hard but now that i have tried achieving it for the first time i must say it was actually pretty easy. I dropped the game few years ago cause i tried to beat it on normal difficulty settings without using save states. I think the game is too unforgiving. When you lose a life you also lose all the powerups of your weapon, so if you are stuck on a boss it gets even harder. I recently tried playing it again on easy (no save states) and got frustrated again, i then started using save states sporadically and eventually beat the game. Doing the same on the highest difficulty wasn’t that much harder to be honest. If you are trying to get the trophy on the first run i suggest to play the game on normal or easy the first time, just to learn the game layout and then go for the trophy
