Gold farming

Anyone found the best way to get gold after completing everything else? I'm about 150,000 short and was wondering if anyone has found a good method. Been playing the whole game co-op so gold has been split up.

Same problem here, but I'm almost done. Didn't find a grind spot for enemies but I noticed some other things:

- Relics give 1000 each when you collect them and you can collect them again in each run of a mission. Letters and jars disappear after you collected them once.

- Collecting all blue cats in the level unlocks the gold cat door at the end. Behind this door the golden cat gives 1000 (first time it gives 2500) and there's usually more money laying on the ground and in the chests in the room. You have to collect all blue cats in one run to open the door.

- Chests give money or gems so it's worth learning their locations for some extra money. They give 500 or 1000 if they contain money.

 

So if you want to do this quick, it's best to learn all the in and outs of 1 mission and repeat as many times as necessary.

I found replaying a level I enjoyed three extra times with "force maximum" zombies helped. You will get about 30-35K doing it solo. I had played the rest of the game in co-op.
