Bos10George
Everyone will be discussing Julio Jones catch until it is drown out by the other games on Sunday. However, another catch is seriously bugging me. In the 1st Quarter, Austin Hooper had a "catch" and used the ground to do it. It was a clear no catch in my mind and apparently the staff of the Eagles. However the referees felt differently. What am I missing? Beyondthegrave07
I think this year, if someone has the ball in their hands when they hit the ground, it's going to be called a catch, and if there's any sort of doubt, it's going to be a catch instead of an incompletion. I didn't see Hooper's catch, but I actually thought Julio caught the ball.

That is why this is so frustrating. If Hooper's catch is valid then Julio's is, and the reverse is also true. At the end of the day, this rule is still screwed up and causing problems.
