PS Vita Required for Remote Play?

I was all excited about picking up this game during the Bandai Namco sale, but noticed that remote play requires the Vita, which I don't have.  Is this true?  I do play remotely with a PC, but wonder why a Vita would be required.  Any help would be appreciated!

Of course Remote Play normally requires a Vita.

No, I play all the time on my PC with the PS4 at the other end of the house.  So, no, a Vita isn't required for all of my other games.

You can always try to remote play from PC and report back yourself. I don't see why it wouldn't work though.

EDIT: Ohhhh you don't have the game yet. I've never seen a game that couldn't be played via remote play though. you should be safe.

I believe they always put "PS Vita required for remote play" but you can always use an app on PC/Mac to play it with a controller. You should be good.
