TrillShottta Posted October 16, 2018 Share Posted October 16, 2018 If you are trying to access that area after beating the game, go to Academia 4XX and close the gate. Redo all the storyline stuff up that includes: Spoiler Fighting with Caius, talking to/rejecting fake Lightning, etc. Then go to the crater and talk to Fang & Vanille but don't jump into the portal. Both of those fragments will be in the crater near the portal, make sure to get them before leaving. I missed those when I first played through the game as well.
