nyonmyan's List of Censored Games

Does this have to include only PS4 and Vita? I remember Twisted Metal 2012 for PS3, some cutscenes and minor gameplay elements were modified in the EU version, but are still there in the US one. And Twisted Metal Black, the PS2 Classic, lost the storyline cutscenes and some gameplay elements. Again, only in EU.

If we're including all games in this, then South Park: Stick of Truth was censored in EU.  I know for sure that the PS3 version was affected but not sure if those scenes were ever restored in the PS4 version of the game.  I believe NA got the full, uncensored version.

As for Mary Skelter 2, I'm guessing it will be the purification feature that is removed, the game has already been out for a while in JP region (and possibly a couple of other regions) so it may just be the western release that is affected.  A PS4 version of the original game is meant to be released with the sequel too, so I imagine if this censorship sticks they will remove the purification system from the original game too

Since you've listed Monster Monpiece, I assume you want all PlayStation games. There's Criminal Girls and Mugen Souls. Although, some of these games are censored on the other platforms as well. From what I've read, that "Nora to Oujo to Noraneko Heart" game is censored on the Vita and Switch, just not as obvious as the PS4 version.

Some minor ones:

Didn't SE remove/limit using Scan on your own party characters in FF X-2 HD remaster?

Also I believe they added some leather straps to Miki's outfit in Star Ocean 5.

Hyperdimension Neptunia 1 has a censored cover art. Nothing in the game I believe.

Many games have censored cover art: noirecensored.jpg

All of the Wolfenstein games are heavily censored in Germany, because of their laws regarding Nazi symbols and references. Wolfenstein 2 had heavy cuts made to the violence and nudity so it could get a CERO Z rating in Japan. The Last of Us has already been mentioned but one of the early patches, blurred out some phone number graffiti that apparently lead to a Sex chatline.

The German version of Fallout 3 was heavily censored for gore/violence but was finally released uncut last year. Germany also received a violence reduced version of Borderlands 1, that toned down the gore/violence and turned all the blood purple.

Borderlands 2 was pre-censored worldwide, to tone down the violence and gore so the devs wouldn't have to make muliple versions of the game. Russia ended up getting 2 versions of the game, one of which had some additional cuts to the violence but an uncut version was released a few days later.

Duke Nukem Forever was heavily toned down for the JP release so it could get a CERO Z rating. The cuts include removing most of the gore (including dismemberments) and swearing, plus all of the nudity and some of the dirtier jokes.

Along with the aforementioned changes made to the JP version of Fallout 3, the Fat Man Nuke Launcher was renamed to Fat Boy because of historical conitations. This change was made to Fallout 3, 4 and New Vegas.

South Park: The Stick of truth, was censored in Europe and Australia but the cuts were never recinded. The only way to play it uncut is to buy it fom either America or Steam.

With the exception of Detriot: Beyond Human, all of Quantic Dreams's games have been censored in one way or another in most countries. Manhunt 2 is still either banned or censored in most countries, even if you get the PS4 version of the PS2 port.

The PS3 version of LBP 1 was censored at or just before launch, to remove 2 verses from the Q'oran that slipped in by accident.

Overwatch was censored twice during the Beta (once to change one of Tracer's poses and again to remove a porn mag joke) and the changes were never reverted, thus all currently available versions are still censored. Fortnite was recently censored to tone down the jiggle of a certain character's breasts.

Akiba's Beat is censored everywhere outside of Japan, to remove an extremely obscure reference to the KKK.

Blue Reflection's Model Viewer is censored outside of Japan so you can no longer put the camera in a position where it can see up the girls' skirts.

All of the Senran Kagura games have had the ages of every girl, either increased or removed in the Western versions of the game. Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni has had the same changes made to it as well.

Fallout 3 was censored globally, because the use of real world drugs e.g. Morphine so all the real world references had to be changed to made up ones.

The Order 1886 was censored for Japan - nipples were removed off a topless woman, and a male character was more covered up https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-04-14-nipples-penis-removed-from-japanese-version-of-the-order-1886

Assassin's Creed Origins censored nipples and genitalia on statues in Discovery Tour Mode, unclear if this is for all regions https://kotaku.com/assassin-s-creed-origins-tour-mode-censors-naked-stat-1823206999

SAO Hollow Realization had a day one patch to censor and tone down a bathing scene in the Japanese version.  All other countries have the game completely uncensored http://censorship.wikia.com/wiki/Sword_Art_Online:_Hollow_Realization

I thought I had read something about Call of Duty: World at War being censored greatly in Japan because of the Japanese levels but I can't really find anything on it. But the German version of the game was censored a lot to where they removed some dialogue and I believe the swastikas. They even remove blood in some parts. Here's a video that goes more into it. Unfortunately the quality is kind of potato-ey so it might be hard to notice what they are trying to point out.

Spoiler

Along with all that, the Nazi Zombies mode was cut out.

Mary Skelter 2 received a patch 2 days ago per sony's request to remove the purification mode, in effect censoring the game

PS4 Traditional Chinese "God Prison Tower Crimes Mary 2" was asked by Sony to castrate] According to the player's reflection, the traditional Chinese version of "God Prison Tower Crimes Mary 2" "purification" system process was completely deleted. According to Joy Baishi, who is responsible for the localization, the castration removal of the purification function is required by Sony @PlayStation , and the game of the PS platform will no longer allow similar systems, including the Japanese version.

PS4 "Wisdom and the Emperor and the Stray Cat Heart HD" and "Miss Chennai" was intertwined and harmonious, and did not follow the previous classification operation. (The former does not have this "excessive light" over the grading regulation on Nintendo NS)

EDIT: Shadow of the Tomb Raider, plus The Evil Within 1&2 were all heavily censored to get a CERO Z rating in Japan.
