Asian PS4 Glitch + Workaround

I have a Japanese PS4 and I experienced a couple of issues, namely:

 

1. The  button does not work in Quick-Time Events.

2. The  button does not work when attempting to back out of an interaction screen.

 

Telltale has acknowledged that these issues, but currently does not have any plans to fix them. In the mean time, use the steps below to address the issues:

 

1. Mash  for and Quick-Time Events that require you to mash . 

2. Hit BOTH  and  at the same time to back out of an interaction screen.

I have a Japanese PS4, and I’m playing the US version of the game.
