Popular Post eigen-space
That goddamn jumprope trophy in FFIX. Took so much practice and patience to get it... kinda bums me out to know that many people got it by use of remote play+scripts But at least I can be proud that I did it on my own. Burgins
I suppose doing all the 5 gear challenges in Just Cause 3 was pretty tricky

Without them it's really down to luck whether or not you run into enough Captains to get everything to work right, but it's obviously doable, just quite hard

I can say that it was hot! haha After this trial... next one with the Bright Lord was nothing LOL
Popular Post KamakuraHero
Well i guess, it was "Demolition man" from Battlefield BC2 for me. Either the enemy got out in time or 8 times out of ten it was registered as an explosive kill, so when i got it i screamed out with unbelievable joy (my proudest platinum btw for no boosting at all & cause it was only the 2nd-3rd fps i've ever played ?)
Popular Post Gommes_
Hard to the core from Dead Space 2 or Elite Campaign Legend from WipeOut. Both trophies nearly broke me.

WipeOut also looks fun.
Popular Post Omar
There are a bunch of trophies I'm really proud of getting through practice and skill, some of my dearest achievements come from these trophies below Shadow of the Colossus' platinum trophy on PS3 There was a bit of an issue with how Wander recognised safe terrain in the PS3 version of SotC which made him wobble a lot more over colossi. This made some of the Hard Time Attack challenges a complete nightmare and that's why the plat is UR. I practiced for weeks on end to nail colossi numbers 3 and 15 and I was SO PROUD when this popped! Velocity 2X's platinum trophy (and everything it entailed) Another huge test of skill. I had to practice for quite a while to get every PERFECT rating and I was so happy when I made it that I went and did the DLC trophies too, so I have 100% completion! I don't need to say anything, do I? I legit know of people who lent their account to others so they could beat the Babel stages for them, some even PAID others to have this done for them. I am way too stubborn and proud to do that so I went through it myself. When I first tried, I ended up so burnt out that I dropped the game for over a year. Then, I went back and slowly made my way up the unpredictable levels. I played Axis Mundi, the final stage of Babel, WITH TWO CONTROLLERS AT THE SAME TIME. It is my proudest achievement to date as a trophy hunter Rayman Legends' platinum trophy The worst part about Rayman Legends was having to collect points from daily challenges by competing with others. I got really good at the challenges through practice and earnt several Diamond Cups which allowed me to reach the last level of Awesomeness after several weeks of daily commitment, which made me feel great! Rope jumping in FFIX I got this one as Vivi right at the beginning of the game and used a method which focused on sounds rather than images to hit not only 1000, but a number somewhere in the 1300s! I was one of the first to get it too although I didn't make it into the Top 50 There are more but these are the ones that came to mind first, it feels great when practice and consistence get you to overcome a big challenge which is why I'd never consider taking that feeling away from any experience by cheating
Phlegeth
I don't know if it's because it's still so fresh in my memory, but Unchanging Armor from Kingdom Hearts. Even on Easy with the special equipment that wasn't fun. Chernobog and the World of Chaos can eat a dick. And because I went for Speedster too, I was Underleveled. Granted, looking back I did it in like half the time (my last save is at 7:12 and the trophy is under 15 hours) so I probably could have grinded a little, but I'm stubborn and went for it. Or Aldritch, Devourer of Gods from Dark Souls 3. I had no help on this one. And when I finally did it, I had no Estus going into Phase 2 and survived with the tiniest sliver of HP.
m-a-t-t-_-7
My hardest trophy has been "Daredevil" in the darn Dishonored Trials DLC. Got it today as a matter of fact ?
ElBolovo
Besides "You're the disease, I'm the cure" from Broforce that I cheesed the hell out of it, my rarest is Trackmania Turbo's Platinum, that game is hard as hell and there is no way to cheese it AFAIK Edited November 3, 2018 by ElBolovo
Light-and-magic
King of PAIN.. just one of the prerequisites (the platinum in PAINful difficulty fun with explosives) took me over the course of six months to eventually get a passing run

Popular Post PillsOfDarkness
Divinity: Original Sin - Original Sinner So many missables trophies in this game. I'm proud of this Platinum! Final Fantasy IX - Hail to the King Yeah... Am i suppose to say something about this one? Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - Birth by Sleep Master Don't take me wrong, i love the Kingdom Hearts series but this Platinum...That was so painfull! Doing the same thing with 3 different Characters... Don't want to think about this one again Final Fantasy X-2 HD - Completition I'm still wondering how i've obtained this Platinum, seriously... Uncharted 4: A thief's end - It... I'm still crying inside... Edited November 3, 2018 by PillsOfDarkness

LuciaRosethorn
Currently on this account I haven't really done anything that amazing but if I can include old accounts I would say Akumu on Evil Within or Grounded on Last of Us. I'm not one for difficulty, I much prefer grinding and so for me those would be the hardest thing I've done.
Da_Man-023
would be my rarest, diamonds are forever on 2k16, I unlocked 5 runes in the 1st week, entered them and was denied entry to the secret auction, reordered runes (not even knowing what I was doing) then it worked. had to sell a lot of what I had to buy the diamond contract for the trophy. wasn't until later I realised how lucky I was to have the right 5 runes at that time as the combinations always changed. those runes were crap, I had fun with this game but I don't normally play sports sims, rather play the real thing lol Edited November 3, 2018 by Da_Man-023 added info
Beyondthegrave07
To the Extreme! Defuse all bombs in the "Extreme" section. Not really hard like the others mentioned below, but it took a lot of time and commitment to earn this trophy. It's just that much more satisfying knowing how far I came to beat it! (also think I'm in the top 50 for beating it too..granted, 50 people haven't even 100%ed the game yet). Scavenge Hunt Completed the Main Campaign in 1999 Mode without purchasing anything from a Dollar Bill machine Seriously, I still think to this day that Black Ops 1 and 1999 mode are the two hardest difficulties I've ever played in a game. I played Grounded mode in TLOU at a friend's house, and I still think this is way harder. You could flip this one with the Black Ops Veteran mode. They both equally were excruciatingly painful especially towards the beginning. Machine Crusher Defeat NANCY-MI847J This is one of those trophies that were really easy to some and extremely hard for others. I'm in the vote of the latter. I was off for Christmas break in college and decided to clean up some old games and this literally ate 6 hours of retrying over and over and over again. F- this asshole... And last, and definitely not least.... Castle Guide beat the game within 2 hours Looking back on the game, I don't think I've ever been more frustrated with a trophy or more angry with a game than this one. I tried for the 2 hour run and missed it by less than a minute on my first go and gave up and redid the entire playthrough. Never EVER again. You couldn't pay me money to do this for someone else.
Popular Post SlimSanta94
I've gotten quite a few in the past few years which made me almost pull my hair out because of how hard they were.. I'll list a few of them Best Surgeon In the World - Surgeon Simulator This used to be glitched in the sense that you could complete the first 6 missions with an A++ and get the trophy, but I did it without that, meaning I got A++ on every mission in the game, including those horrible ambulance missions. It was mainly difficult just because of how downright broken the controls were. Red Sunset - Atari Flashback Classics 2 This is one of the hardest things i've ever done. You need to reach level 19 on missile command, which doesn't sound hard in writing but when you actually play it you realise that by the time you reach level 9-10 everything moves so quickly that it's extremely hard to react to anything quick enough. This and the lack of a paddle controller make this stupidly hard to pull off. Mr.Perfect - Mega Man 10 I've been a lifelong fan of Mega Man, but even with save states between each level completing an entire Mega Man game without getting hit once is not an easy thing to do at all. Cratered - Overwatch I ended up doing this trophy legitimately and I regret every second of the 13 hours I spent trying to get it. This is the most situational online trophy I think i've ever seen, I would not recommend anyone to try and do it properly, it's really annoying to pull off. Impossible Boy - Super Meat Boy I don't think I need to say anything, everyone knows how hard Meat Boy is. Other trophies i've gotten: Polyamorous - Crypt Of The Necrodancer 100% Run - Bound Bloody Feet / You Play It Well - Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits Supreme Champion - Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe Iron Titan - Titan Souls
Kittens Are Awesome
I like the topic. Good way to look back at some nightmarish, yet rewarding accomplishments in gaming. Art of Fighting Anthology Heir to the DojoClear all three games on Hard difficulty including special stages Spoiler Being able to continue helped a ton. Still, as you can see, a very frustrating task. That video is just of part 1. Beating Geese on part 2 is just as insane if you haven't figured out the cheese way...which took me a lofng time to figure out. Motorstorm Pacific Rift Hire Me Beat all 128 original developer ghosts in Time Attack the MSPR plat is probably my hardest plat/100% to date. This was one of the hardest trophies in the bunch. I also got to know what rubber band ai was because of this game. The ai on the hardest races was super brutal. Took me a long time to figure this game out.
Redgrave
Off the top of my head "...Becomes the Master" from Titanfall 2. There's really nothing you can do to exploit it or anything like that. Maybe it's just because I'm really not a fan of strict time trial sort of things but I'm kind of proud of getting that one. Another is "Surgical Precision" from Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise mainly because I don't play rhythm games and the final song it wants you to play is a bit nuts with all the button prompts across the screen. Here's a video for some context. Spoiler Keep in mind you have to not miss a beat/get a bad note and so that means getting 151 notes done right with this song. Along with that there's also the "Perfectionist" trophy in Yakuza 0 which basically means it wants you to do everything in the game including rhythm games like disco which took me a long time to get good at. I also did Veteran difficulty on World at War and the other Call of Duty games I have with a trophy list and other hard difficulty stuff like Dante Must Die in Devil May Cry 1, 2, and 3. Granted with Devil May Cry 1 I did a bunch of Normal playthroughs to farm for items. There's a lot of stuff I could list, but the ones listed are the ones I'm glad to get off the top of my head, especially since it seems a lot of people struggle with them. Not meaning I'm glad to hear people struggle, but you know
OJ9999vr
If you count quitting when near death as fair, still have to do everything as normal then: Super Meat Boy plat Gta V Masterminds and without quitting: Uncharted 4 ...it and Trackmania Turbo plat nothing else which instantly comes to my mind
