No plat :\

That's on Sony, not the devs. You can at least buy it and support the devs, who were forced to censor. Then they still get money, etc.

or just buy it on steam where you can get the uncensor patch for free

Uncensored on switch? When did Nintendo have such change of heart?

My first instinct is saying "since parental app age restrictions", but then I remind myself that the GameCube had (among other things) Eternal Darkness, in my opinion one of the best horror games ever.

Nintendo actually has a kiddie image because their first party games are mostly for the whole family (with a couple of niche exceptions but it's true for the biggest titles), but they've been pretty okay about second and third party titles having riskier content.

And now on the Switch, it seems all bets are off. Things like DOOM, South Park and other games with violent and/or sexual content get on there without any issues at all.

Is this Sony exclusive? If not then probably better to get it on a system where it isn't censored.

It's available on the switch, steam, and has been available on dlsite since 2014(this version is the pornographic version though so avoid it if you don't like that kind of stuff)

If you wanna play this fully uncensored go for the PC version. Both Switch and PS4 versions don't have the adult content but the PS4 one is a little more censored. A platinum would've been good. Missed chance.

The Switch version isn't censored - theres just a difference between the regular game (which is also available on PC) and the 18+ game, as has been since it was released. Just like Exploding Kittens has a regular version and an "NSFW" version. Doesn't mean the regular version was censored, just means it's different, with less graphic content.

I couldn't care less if this has a plat or not.  Really, what's the big deal?

However, everyone keeps mentioning how it's censored.  It's a game about cat people (or whatever) that needs censoring?  I'm at work, and won't do an internet search...but what's so salacious about the non censored version?

Who cares if it doesn't have a platinum? The censorship is a bigger problem but nothing you can do about it. I guess you can boycott it because it doesn't have a precious platinum trophy. That might show those Sony villains for rejecting you from another precious platinum trophy.

I agree, I don't see why a plat is make-or-break for some folks

I feel like this is around in case you wanna support Sayori and show her that there's a market for her games on PS4. It's ultimately on Sony that they want to censor games as heavily as they do right now. Doesn't mean we should punish the content creators. (Though it is definitely better to buy one of the various PC versions if you wanna see the cut content)

Nah, we should buy it on switch or PC, you will support the devs and you will enjoy the game as it was intended to be, ALSO, you willl be sending a message to Sony, which is: "Fuck you and your censorship policy".

You don't have a Switch? No problem! the game requirements are super low! even a PC from 2003 can run it! The game is super cheap and goes on sale quite often.
