AWESOME

Seriously R&C is my favourite series of all time and Sly is great as well. R&C is a 3rd person action adventure game with lots of fun guns, great humor, awesome characters and great play control.

Sly is a 3d platformer/open world game. It is made by the same team behind inFAMOUS but plays completely different.

Fun Fan-Made trailer on R&C history

Ratchet & Clank lets go across multiple planets, completing objectives by beating aliens and/or robots with your trusty wrench or a plethora of gadget weapons. It also has really likeable characters.

Sly series  is similiar to ratchet in that you go around multiple locations on earth but its more about sneaking and stealing but includes combat if you like. Also has really likeable characters.

I suggest Sonic Generations if you can find it

I also have some RPG suggestions

A Crack in Time is great, Tools of Destruction has no trophies so I don't recommend it. For the original trilogy, Up Your Arsenal and Going Commando are awesome. Just stay away from All 4 One, Full Frontal Assault or the original R&C.
