RJP_X
for games that require them for trophies? i lack a second ps4 controller, but i've never used remote play. not sure if trophies can be earned this way, like the borderlands handsome jack collection, or the naruto UNS collection which have trophies that require/or make better off with a 2nd controller. one disappointing thing though i've heard is that the vita or PS TV have to be controller one and i'm unsure how reliable/or stable remote play even is. also unsure with, if i preferably used the PS TV if you can use the PS3 controller for the remote play on ps4. unsure if trophies even would unlock by these methods, as i'm not quite familiar with it lol. thanks. locutus442
If you have at least 2 Ps3 controllers, then yes for PsTV (at least one of my Borderlands 2 Ps4 trophies was achieved in this manner). No for Vita (at least I don't think so). If I am wrong, feel free to correct me.
Cobby
On PS4 the Vita (assuming it's on the same account) acts as Player 1 and the main controller. The controller (guest or alt) will be the 2nd player.
Savyna
I've used the vita as an extra controller on the PS4 a bunch of times. Works well and trophies pop as they should. Would be weird if otherwise.
RJP_X
does vita have better remoteplay? tried with the ps tv and it said connections not strong enough. one time it popped up the ps4, but it was very laggy, screen was going dark, then it cancelled out. :c EDIT: NVM, i found the problem, wi-fi by default is set on power save on ps tv. that had to be disabled. remote play is pretty flawless now.
