A spiritual sequel of "Clock Tower"

Glad to see Nightcry finally coming to us, especially on Vita.

 

Already on steam, Nightcry has been released on it since March of 2016. 

 

As it's an indie game, it received mixed reviews.

I don't even care about the reviews. I'd totally forgotten this game existed, let alone a possible Vita release. I've played through all the US Clock Tower games and loved them, so I'm stoked for this.

It's similar but it's not the same, it would be good to see CT series again as a remaster. what i saw from the trophy list is less boring than lone survivor which is also a game similar to silent hill in 2D

It's cool if it's not the same. The mentality is there, and that makes it interesting to me. Kinda like how you can tell a 10 Tons Ltd twin-stick shooter just by looking at it, most of the time.

I'm a fan of the creator's previous work.

I'm a big fan of old style Clock Tower but I thought NightCry was really bad and I'm surprised to see that they're actually releasing the Vita version years after the fact. I thought they had simply abandoned that version but I guess not? I wonder if they improved on the original PC version by any means because that game was lacking in a lot of areas and I would hope that in the 2-3 years since it came out they would have done something to fix its problems.

Doesn't this game run on Unity? Unity runs like poop on Vita. Hitman GO kept crashing my Vita TV at certain points in the game. To say nothing of the quality of this game (which is pretty mediocre).
